By joining FlexJobs, I was able to find a 100% work from home position as a Marketing Manager in the US for a global tech company headquartered in Belgium. It has been a wonderful experience and the perfect match for my expertise. Without FlexJobs, there's no way I would have found this opportunity on my own. I highly recommend paying the minimal subscription cost if you are serious about finding legitimate flexible positions - many with benefits!
Great service, really well put together. You can definitely tell that the people behind FlexJobs actually care about doing a good job, and that translates into all aspects of this online job search platform.
Nice articles, good advice tips. I wish there were better jobs. I was very active on the site, but it felt like those who were hiring were not. That part of the exchange felt like the same old empty black hole you'd throw your resume in and never get a call or response back.
Flexjobs is a great tool for job searches as they really vet to make sure there are legitimate flexible work positions posted and not scams that are so common on other sites. I strongly recommend this tool to aid in finding the right flexible work environment to meet your needs.
I had a very positive experience with Flexjobs. I found a job that was flexible, remote and paid extremely well. The website provided verified and reputable jobs with no scams or gimmicks.
I am mystified by the negative reviews I see on this site about FlexJobs. I signed up at a promotional rate for three months, and will likely renew. I'm seeking location-independent work, which makes my situation a bit more of a challenge, but FlexJobs offers a search option for that. While many of the positions I've seen require an advanced degree (post-BA/BS), two came to my attention on September 29 that matched my skills, and I applied for both. I am purposely writing this review now, before I know whether I will hear back on either of those, because the point is that with all the scams and trash out there, this company and their site is the real deal. The customer service I've received has been outstanding. And, if you sign up for a year, the fee is $50. That is $4.16 per month. Skip Starbucks for one day, and it's paid for itself. That is all.
Overall, it has been a good experience. The only 'negative' I can say is that one cannot always go through Flexjobs to actually apply on a job opening... but that's not the fault of Flexjobs. I probably will re-subscribe at some point in the future!
Flexjobs has come a long way! I believe I used flex jobs 13 or 14 years ago and found a remote independent contractor position that paid the bills through a very difficult period. I have seen various positions that I qualify for now, however the pay offered is just not sufficient. I will stick with current company.
Cancelling subscription.
Many great blog articles and workshops! I didn't find a rhythm with updating settings to have the right type of jobs sent to me. Also, it would be helpful to know salary/hourly rates. Some jobs offer this, and I understand it's an employer's choice to add the detail. Indeed provides an estimate drawn from internet research (Glassdoor?).
I love flex jobs and have used it successfully to get a job before but being that I am currently unemployed and living off of my savings, $50 is a price I cannot afford right now since my renewal coincides with my unemployment. Flexjobs has been great in providing trustworthy job postings in the past but I will have to manually search on Glassdoor for now. If a promo becomes available, I'll most likely renew.
Because flex jobs has the most trustworthy job postings for flexible and remote work.
I have had an excellent experience on FlexJobs. Though I was hesitant to pay the membership fee, it really did help with screening out lower caliber jobs and employers, making it easier for me to find the perfect freelance work.
I highly recommend FlexJobs. They provide a range of employment type options (e.g., full-time, part-time, remote, etc.) in various fields. The website is very easy to navigate. The job search and application processes are also very easy. Thank you, FlexJobs!
Loved everything about FlexJobs. The research done by its employees about each company listing jobs was very helpful. Only wish is that more companies are added. A Google jobs search offered many more listings for remote jobs from Fortune 500 companies. I used both sites extensively and preferred Google over this site because of the number of results returned and the price (free). I would still highly recommend FlexJobs to others due to the career and resume guidance offered, it's just not what I needed.
Reputation. Thoroughly researched companies.
Flexjobs found me a job at least four times faster than I would have found one for myself. And it probably saved me from a ton of scams or companies that didn't have my best interest in mind. I'm so incredibly grateful that I chose to subscribe to them, because they put my success on the fast track when I needed it most.
I heard a success story about someone who found a job using this site!
I am trying to expand my horizons as an expat by looking for remote work. The last 2 jobs I applied for with FlexJobs were already filled or inactive, which I discovered after tailoring my CV and carefully writing cover letters. I thought the whole point of FlexJobs was to avoid that situation.
The sad truth is that after months of trying this, I have absolutely nothing to show for it (I really don't like LinkedIn but my experience there has honestly been better). Perhaps I am the sucker for paying a subscription to try to find a job.

Good site. I am an RN with 40 years of experience in many arenas of healthcare i plan on working at least another 5 years. Your postings are all entry level or very high senior level operations. Nothing in the middle range for a nurse. I am also currently employed doing what i love, educating staff.
I was looking for a true work from home opportunity. I have worked from home before and am very productive and self motivated. I also wanted a little flexibility in my workday. I can accomplish 8 hours of work in 4 on an average day.
I think this site is ingenious, It has every tool required to finds a job in this day and age when everything is virtual. I have just had some family issues arise that does not allow me to continue the search at this time.
Most of the jobs are not any more flexible than jobs listed on other websites, primarily account manager type positions which are mostly always remote due to the requirements for external onsite client support.
After working in corporate America for nearly 35 years, travelling back and forth daily, I was interested in a position that would allow me to minimize my windshield time significantly.
Flexjobs filters out the nonsense and only gives you REAL opportunities to put your time into researching before applying. There are so many false jobs and scams out there, Flexjobs made me feel safe in my applications, knowing they were all legit. Thank you.
I wasnt sure what type of job I was looking for other than Remote and Flexjobs has the best filters to narrow down or combine all of your needs and requirements into your job searches. I will return to Flexjobs again if my position no longer suites me. Thank you.
Site is easy to use, I find that no one responds to your applications, seemed like a waste of time for me. I was looking for some remote side work but very unsuccessful. Seems like the jobs are not really available only posted to encourage applicants to subscribe
This site was encouraging. To be able to see multiple types of job opportunities specifically geared to individuals who need to work from home or have compromising schedules, all in one place. It made the headache of where to look, and how to get started, go away. Thanks!
Flex jobs is a good option for those who already have experience in a particular field but hard to find a job remotely when taking into account the cost of living differences depending on where the company is based.
I was recommended Flex jobs by someone who helps military spouses find remote jobs.
Flexjobs was extremely easy to use since it's so organized by job type. I liked that I could search by many different factors, like experience level, industry, etc. I'd recommend the service to anyone looking for a new job!
Haven't been here long enough to give a real review. I'd just like to say that their job filter tool is amazing. They made it super easy to get very specific about what type of job you're looking for and they have enough job listings available to actually see some results.
Remote job-hunting
Wow,
We’re thankful for the amazing feedback you have given us! Glad we were able to help!
It's a good site but with pandemic, there are just not enough jobs for everybody. Especially for the disabled minorities and people who live in the urban cities like myself. It is just hard to find a job that's I can go back to safely. The ones that are put up as remote on this site are not from my area.
I really need a job and this site was written as it vets the employers.
Overall the site has drastically improved my job search. The only small critique I would put forward is that it seems some companies list a specific state despite it not being a requirement to live in that state for their fully remote position(s).
I heard about it on reddit.
Thank you for the job search. The main reason I am cancelling is because I cannot update my credit card. Flexjobs keeps charging the wrong card every month and everytime I try to change it it never updates the card.
High quality job prospects

I never knew there were so many positions from which to choose. However, many of the positions I felt I could be successful at had strict specifications such as number of years experience doing that job or being familiar with specific operating systems.

In 2007, FlexJobs founder and CEO - Sara Sutton - was looking for something better after losing her full-time job. She was already seven months pregnant with her first child and needed something that was going to be flexible but still help further her career. Sara knew these jobs existed but was overwhelmed trying to find them. That’s when the idea for FlexJobs came: A site where job seekers could find professional-level, legitimate work-from-home jobs, all in one place, without the ads, scams or junk found on other sites.
