I chose Flex Jobs because I was desperate and had tried everything else. I was just an 8 1/2 x 11 piece of paper on every other job web site.
I have enjoyed using this site and will again in the future. The job search features are really specific and that is appreciated. You can also go for gig jobs, which is not show in most job sites.
It's decent. The service is excellent, lots of opportunities not found elsewhere. PLUS, the response when I had an issue was immediate and they didn't treat me like I was stupid. I appreciate that.

Many remote jobs. Great website layout in that I could research jobs and companies offering those jobs. Much information provided compared to other sites.
I'm in education and non-profit social service work and I wish there weren't quite so many corporate, for-profit entities advertising here. It was hard to sift through.
Suggested jobs sent in automated emails weren't good matches, but overall the search tools, saved searches, job info and other tools were very helpful.
Handy site, but not much available if you live outside the US and have no experience. Good webinars though. And for browsing to see what jobs are in demand.

I've had Flexjobs for over 2 years, and never gotten a job offering. I don't think it's focused enough on my specific skillset to assist me in finding a proper remote position.
Great resources such as templates, webinars, articles, etc. but doesn't seem to be any different than other search engine sites when it comes to actually finding a job that I am looking for.

The only downside is that there aren't enough people hiring in Canada, but that's something that gets improved over time.

Found great jobs but thought they were coded as remote. The employers do not accept you working in a different country, thus the jobs are "not really remote jobs"
