We've been happy customers for a couple of years now. They always have the bulbs we need in stock, and their prices are great. We would never shop for bulbs anywhere else! Slainte!
Yesterday I tried to sign up for Flicker. After receiving the confirmation email I clicked at the link, and I could login. But after that, I directly got the message "Account creation failed". No other message, nothing. So I tried again, with another browser. Same issue applies. Strange as it is my first try to sign up with this website. With an email address from a domain that only exists a few weeks. I send an email for help. And guess what?! I am being seen as "risky" and denied having an account. No explanation, nothing. I am just risky? This makes me angry. Why am I risky? Because I live in Bulgaria? And thus must be risky, that is how it feels. Being dismisses as a kind of criminal. I never have done anything against the law, on the contrary, for all my jobs I needed a risk/security clearance. Which I have gotten, always. And then being dismissed as "risky". Says enough about a company like this. Flickr you are discriminating, and thus you have no right to exist.
I purchased a 1 yr subscription to Flickr and It SUCKS! In so many ways! They want your photo public so it is hard to find your camera roll, they want to take you to everyone else's. Also when you upload it constantly defaults them to public so they can take everyone to yours. It find fault with TONS of my picutes and wont upload them. I have NO problem with other storage sites. I was trying to get them on two sites for back up. NO Problem at all with the other which is Amazon. AND F'ing AND, amazon is included with my prime account. Flickr is SOOOOOO not worth it. AND NO refund at all, just paid $50 for a year subscription. UGH dont go there!
This is a terrific site and taking over Yahoo by a landslide!
I am a paid member and I find it WAY better then Photobucket.
Highly recommend to those who have never tried it!
Pretty cool site. I joined a few months ago and I have really enjoyed the ability to show off my pictures. Plus I've met a lot of cool people on Flickr too.
I'd really recommend the site.
The site is really entertaining to roam about to see other people`s photos. Lots of content from all over the world helping you to enjoy the numerous places.
The new policy for Pro and Free users is terrible! In the past when you went from Pro to Free your photos would only been hidden, but now they are going to start deleting your photos if you are a Free user with more than 1,000 photos. I have been using this site since 2005, so I have well over that amount and now might lose all of them if I don't become Pro or back the photos up. Well, with such a horrible policy change out of nowhere there is no way I am willing to give them more money (since I have had a Pro account on and off)
Congratulations Flickr, you have lost a long time member of your site. I used to love this site but every time they change something it just keep getting worse and worse. This is honestly just the last straw.
UPDATE 1/13/2018:
Ok, it seems that they have changed the policy to FREEZE free accounts that have more than 1,000 photos and put older photos above that limit "at risk of being deleted". Slightly better than out-rightly saying that they are going to delete photos over 1,000. However I still disagree with what Flickr is doing and still have no plans on returning to Flickr.
A Great Site! - Flicker.com is a great site to share photos and make friends. Members share wonderful photos, tips and tricks in photography. I am a member of this site and truly enjoy it.

Transistor's packaging is very good. The writing on the transistor is very clear,
which makes it easy to use.
Flickr is that rare phenomenon, a site that has survived being taken over by Yahoo. Although some of the resulting developments haven't been entirely welcomed by the whole Flickr community, by and large the site has managed to retain its independent feel and hugely enthusiastic membership, and it's benefited by access to Yahoo's vast storage space and (usually) fast servers.
I think most people would agree that it's the community that makes the site, so it becomes more than just a place to dump the contents of your SD card (though you can still do that, too, if you want). It's hard to spend much time here before wanting to jump in and praise someone's work or start asking questions.
The best experience is as a paid-up member, which allows you to view other folks' images at varying sizes and organize your own images more effectively, amongst other things. Further, several third party apps have popped up in recent years to allow you to manipulate and reuse your images in a variety of ways. Flickr began by being the choice of the savvy web 2.0 photographer but has widened so considerably in its community that it has become *the* photo sharing site for most of us.
By the bye, Flickr is also a landmark site for another reason. It established a design style that would be seized on by many websites to come, and became a Web 2.0 icon for its clean, uncluttered interface, lack of advertising, and of course, the idiosyncratic spelling of the name, which would lead to a whole slew of snappy, single-word titles (think Twitter, Blippr, Newser, and so forth).
While there are other photo repositories and sharing sites, none of them have quite got the feel of Flickr. If you haven't visited yet, go take a look - even if you aren't a photographer yourself, there's so much great quality work to see here.
I love this website. You can find many good pictures from different places and locations of the world easily and it's like travelling the world.
Excellent site for putting all your fav pics and finding others too. Share it with others or keep it private.

Flicker review - seems to have a little of everything. With more investigation I'm sure I will be a return user. Will there be a photo post?
The site is good, however it need improvement on the user site. As for me, it cant be used intuitively.
Flickr used to be bigger, now its kind of whatever I barely use it compare to how much I used to use it 2 years ago.

One of my favourite current websites, it is extremely useful and has many uses. Perfect for displaying your portfolio, art, designs, etc.
I have been a member of Flickr for over 19 years (since 2004). During that period I uploaded up to 48K safe images (i.e identified by Flickr as "acceptable to a global, public audience for what would be appropriate for public viewing in any setting") into different categories (albums). Throughout this time I had so many followers. However, on 12 June 2023 the Flickr support people, (Jenny, and Olivia) took a decision to delete my entire account of images without giving me any specific reasons for their decision or prior warning. I sent emails to the help desk to find out what violations in my safe images had been discovered. Both wrote me that "They are not at liberty to discuss the specifics of accounts closed for violations", which makes it impossible for me to understand the cause of this deletion and what warranted the closing down of my account.
To make matters worse, I had paid £111.84, on 18th May 2023, for a further 2 years subscription to Flickr. In the second email from the help desk, Olivia wrote to me that "Per our Terms of Use that you read and agreed to, Flickr does not provide refunds or partial refunds for unused subscription time should you close your account prematurely, or should your actions cause Flickr to terminate your account."; but as far as I remember Flickr took £111.84 from my bank account automatically without any reminder about that clause agreement. Also I should mention I do not recall ever being provided with that term of non payment clause.
I tried to contact the Don MacAskill, the CEO of Flickr and SmugMug in order to ask him why Flickr help desk had deleted my entire 48K images. I wrote him via Twitter, Instagram, and Linkedin. Unfortunately I did not receive any answers from him or anybody else. I wonder if anyone else has had a similar experience with this website?
Tip for consumers:
I would like to ask Flickr to give reasons for the action taken by the Help Desk and to kindly provide me with further information that instigated them from suddenly deciding to terminate my account after 18 years of being a loyal member and deleted my 48,000 'Safe Images' with return of my £111.84, (Receipt number 2515-0791, Invoice Number FlICKR-2293211) for a further 2 years subscription in Flickr.
