I bought approx. $2000 worth of tiles. I paid $249 for delivery. First they changed the date of the delivery. I rearranged my schedule to be home. The driver says that he called me but I didn't receive any phone calls. He never rang my doorbell. I was home and I get a text stating that the driver is outside but I received it an hour later as I was in meetings. I called and they tell me the driver is bringing my tiles back to the store. I call the store and they tell me I have to go back (which is 37 miles away) to pay another $249 for delivery even though my goods were not delivered and I had paid a delivery charge. I canceled my order and am disputing the $249 with my credit card. No wonder they are closing stores in other states.
On Monday, January 27,2025, this manager, Ashley with an associate, entered my private residence without my knowledge or consent while a contractor was working. She proceeded to walk through my home, claiming she was looking for tile that had been delivered. No one gave her permission or the right to enter my home and invade my privacy by WALKING THROUGH MY ENTIRE HOME ROOM BY ROOM!
This unauthorized entry is a serious violation of my privacy and property rights. At no point did I give permission for any Floor & Decor representative to enter my home without my knowledge nor was I made aware that such an action would take place without my consent! Her conduct has caused me significant distress, and I find it completely unacceptable for an employee of your company to behave in this manner.

Called because my contractor wanted more specifics on a tile we had picked out. Called Sarasota Florida store and was on hold for a long time. A male Designer answered. I asked him about a product that was hanging from the ceiling and he wouldn't bother with helping me to identify it despite my describing it and it being unique. It should have been easy for him to identify. He was rude and short with me and didn't want to help at all. I asked his name and he refused it and said anybody could help me and HUNG UP ON ME! Couldn't reach anyone back for nearly an hour and no one answers at the store. FIRST TIME AND NOW LAST TIME CUSTOMER!
In last 2 months I have spent more than 35,000.00 of slab and tiles for my house.
I was treated good when I was buying it. But when the time came to return $800 OF MERCHANDISE OUT OF 35,000.00 I was told to meet so many people and lastly the store manager John who should be never employed for his behavior. He should be sent to anger Management classes.
I will advise never go floor and decor at AVENEL -*******.
I am not speaking about when you are in the store, the sales people are actually great. We bought a granite countertop which starting chipping at the edges 9 days after install We were told they were "natural pits" and this wasn't covered under warranty. There is an enormous difference between a natural pit and a chip on an edge, it's complete gaslighting. They would not stand behind their product and eventually quit answering our emails. With so m any other shopping options go somewhere else.
Be cautious about trusting what you see in the showroom. The tiles I selected looked great in-store, but the outcome was quite different from what I received. Very disappointed!
We purchased luxury vinyl flooring, had it installed by Installing made easy. A couple weeks after before move in, we discovered the floors we popping up throughout our home. We filed a claim only to immediately being told that it was an installation problem. We were told we had to hire an expert flooring inspector at our cost of $500 dollars and they would let us file another claim. We did so and the inspection report clearly stated that it was a defective product and not an install problem. We resubmitted a claim with the report attached and with a couple days Floor and Decor denied the claim, just dismissing the expert's report. Again they blamed it on Installation problem. I will be calling TV Station to help right the wrong do to me a senior citizen. I have also sought legal counsel. Just want to warn everyone of this terrible treatment from Floor and Decor.
I ordered materials from the store and a week later after I was told they had the materials I found out they don't. I re-ordered the materials and waited all day for materials, when I call and spoke to the store, they stated they have nothing to do with delivery. They use a 3rd party,
I bought a bunch of tile and stone to do a shower. When i was checking out i asked the cashier if we could return any unused tiles and she said yes as long as its within 90 days. I went to return a box with only 5 tiles missing ( that you buy by the piece not by the box) The worker said they couldnt take them back because its not a full box. I just spent over $3000 at this store and will NEVER return!
Floor and Decor offers the free service of a design specialist to help choose tiles, vanities, and everything else you need for a remodel or first time build. Amanda worked with me and helped choose tiles that fit my need and budget. One of our products was broken when it was delivered, and they replaced it when I called. They were easy to work with, and we have enjoyed the results of our bathroom remodel.
Class Action Lawsuit - Nucore floor - Floor Decor junk flooring! Warping, splitting in 5 rooms and 1400 sq feet will be removed from our house $9500 it cost plus will spend at least $10,000 replacing.Attorney Matt Metzger 513 - 488 - 1135 is handling lawsuit if you need to get on list.
Save your self time, headaches, and money and shop elsewhere. Floor & Decor will not stand behind the product they sell. That why there BBB reviews are so low.
I purchased new luxury vinyl floor from Floor & Decor in February. Had professional installed by 15 year veteran in flooring in March. Two weeks after installation, flooring started buckling throughout my home. Areas buckling where replaced twice with problem only getting worse. Filled a claim with Floor & Decor and was told it was an installation issue and not product. Decided to remove the Hampstead Water Resistant Laminate and replaced with laminate purchased at Home Depot. Same installer with no issues. I lost $4,600 on buying from Floor & Decor and hopefully I can save someone from going through the same nightmare as I have gone through.
What is the product issue and/or concern? I have 1100 square feet of vinyl laminate flooring from Duralux that is installed in seven seperate rooms and failed completely. It lasted less than two years and the first signs of failure were with in a year. IMHO It's poorly manufactured or was a bad batch. It's broken on the narrow ends. I don't even know what you could do to a vinyl laminate floor to do that, if it wasn't defective. It's installed in a mobile home. Above grade on press board which is way flatter than most subfloors. All vinyl laminate I've ever had was bullet proof. This stuff is WAY too brittle and subject to expanding way beyond it's listed tolerances. Then it shrinks back and pulls apart which I've also never seen. After arduous (beyond belief) warranty process which got me nothing but excuses and accusations of poor installation NO resolution was offered. I've never experienced such poor performance in product or customer service EVER from any other business! Buyer Beware!
I am writing to address a concerning issue regarding my recent purchase of laminate flooring at floor and decor local store. Approximately 6 months ago, I invested in what was described to me for one store staff member as high-quality and durable flooring for my home improvement project. However, shortly after installation, the floor began to crack and chip, despite following all recommended guidelines for maintenance.
After escalating the issue to the local store manager (Orlando) it was made an escalation with the corporate office which sent an inspector he determined that the damage was attributed to "poor installation and moving furniture", which I find to be unacceptable taking into consideration that we do not keep moving furniture and only 4 people live in my home, given the assurance of durability provided at the time of purchase. Additionally, I was alarmed to discover that the display flooring in the store exhibited the same issues as my own (see pictures) suggesting a widespread quality concern that has impacted other customers.
As a result, I will been forced to incur additional expenses to remove and replace the faulty flooring, leading me to seek financial assistance from my bank. I am disappointed with the handling of this situation and believe that the company should take responsibility for selling substandard products to customers.
I was so thrilled with the service I got at Floor and Decor in Saugus! Greg the manager worked with me to pick out all the tile for my bathroom! He was such a nice guy and very knowledgeable! He went above and beyond to help me! Jason took over after I was done shopping and put everything in the car for me I didn't have to lift a finger! He was very polite and efficient! I highly recommend shopping here for your next project you won't be disappointed! I will be back for sure!Nancy Robillard
We needed someone to install some granite countertops and we tried their installation service and they ended up sending us someone who not only tried to scam us but also the store. He tried to charge us over $4000 for the job when every single other estimate was under $2000. Then he told us that he refuses to buy countertops from floor and decor because they have terrible products. When we reported it and complained all they said was that they cant do anything about it. Makes me wonder how many people they let get scammed by this guy and other people. They just dont care.
I received a quote for tile and grout from the Sarasota Floor and Decor. I called to ask questions about the quantity I needed. That is, I called, and I called, and I called, and I called. No one answered the phone--ever! The next day, I called again and a man answered and went to get an employee in the design center. She was with a customer and said she would return my call within a half hour. She didn't! I called back again and again and left several messages. I finally got my order adjusted; the order preparation at the store was quick, and I received emailed pickup information. About two days later, a staff person called me at 8 a.m. to ask about my voicemail messages. Too late! If you are looking for communication between you and the staff at Floor and Decor--forget it. It's not going to happen.
I have spent close to $30,000 with this rotten company. They are rude, inefficient and customer service is non-existent. They made a huge mistake on my hardwood floor delivery... Totally their fault and do now will not deliver the lady of my order. I will never spend another dime with these jokers. Go anywhere else.
Shopping in the new Waltham Woods Rd. Store everyone was so helpful. Cameron, Alex and Austin knew exactly what I needed for my tile installations. Made the shopping process stress free. The largest selections I've seen and high-quality materials. Definitely will come here for my next projects!
