App doesn't do what they claim it does. When asking for refund, they ask for all order information and problem information, even for a video of the problem. But at the end this is their answer: «Hi, Sorry for the inconvenience. Due to the software principle, no data recovery software can promise 100% successful data recovery. This is true for the entire industry. In some cases, writing back data may overwrite the data you are trying to recover. » I lost 88$ with them. They just want your money.
I ran an issue with the software and had to reinstall it. Unfortuately when trying to activate the software. I received a message that the license key was already used. All attempts to contact FonePaw via thier website resulted in no response. Even the reseller "Paddle" was not able to get a response from FonePaw. These folks give both the reseller and themselves a bad name due to their lack of response. I now have software I paid over $100 for that I can not use.
Tip for consumers:
If the reseller Paddle does not do a better Job of screening their clients, perhaps they should be avoided as well.

If you can, use PayPal to purchase this software. I attempted to use the software, garbage though. Couldn't get any help/refund through fonepaw. Did a refund through PayPal, had to wait 10 days (or close to it), then the money was back in my account.
Did a full, 1 star review a while back, but hope this will help someone if they do decide to purchase and it doesn't work out.
Product didn't work, tried to get and never did receive a refund! No success and asked to work with R&D. Who does that? How can you sell a faulty product? Dr. Fone worked first time. Anyway the general public need to know.

I wish that I had come here first! Believe the bad reviews. The last Samsung phone that they even claim to support is a Galaxy S-6... a 2015 model. The same as others, no refund because I did not read the website that shows supported phones. I cannot find that anywhere on the site. I think the only way is to download the trial version. I am filing a dispute with my credit card and we will see what happens. DO NOT BUY THIS SOFTWARE!
The only thing I was able to recover with this software from my lost photos was the photo thumbnails. I asked FonePaw for help and they requested some additional information to solve the issue. After some time, I asked what the situation was and I received the following response (30.4.

After passing the 30 days, I have asked multiple times what the situation is and I never received any response. I was shocked at how unprofessional a company this is.

I purchased Fonepaw's services to try and recover lost data on my phone. The software was never able to connect with my phone. Customer service gave me instructions on how to supposedly make it work. The instructions always failed. Then customer service told me I had a "root" my phone in order for this to work. When I learned what that meant I became concerned about the impact to my phone and told them I did not want to take that step. I asked for a refund. They refused and told me that because I would not root my phone they would not issue a refund. I will never recommend anyone use this company, because they do not honor their own terms for a refund and they have stopped responding to my requests for a refund. I now have to submit a claim with the Better Business Bureau. They are crooks.
Well, the program works, but if you need tech support for ANY issue - forget it - they will ghost you. The first time I needed support a couple of years ago, I had to submit a request five times before they responded. This time, I submitted a request three times, over a week ago, and NOTHING. Their tech support is non existant. There are now free versions of this type software that will do the same thing. I've switched to the free version of Winx MediaTrans. There's one nag screen with the free version, but it works.
I wrote & explained to them where I got stuck in the recovery process. My explanation included the fact that I had contacted Verizon support, & that THEY couldn't even figure it out.
That was actually my 2nd attempt to get help. Both times I got the same "too bad, so sad" auto-reply, saying how it must be my ineptitude.
I purchased the FonePaw Video Convertor and despite installing it on two separate PC's, it took over 24 hours to complete upscaling a 1080 mp4 file. Yet when I used a different program, it took way less time. When I requested support to refund my money, they refused with the explanation that event though it took 24 hours to complete, the software works, despite the fact they supposedly offer a 30 day money back offer. Terrible customer service and in addition, deceiving as well.

I actually purchased fone paw and was not impressed. I tried following the instructions given by Emily and finally having a month of daily contact. I asked for a refund. No refund was given despite the clear failure of the product is save my data. I am not impressed!

I had high hopes that this program would help restore all my data off a phone that got dropped and the screen went black. From the website that had FonePaw advertised, it never gave me a list of phones that they do not support. So I buy the program for $70, go through the process to try to get my data back. But when I get to the part that says to pick the type of phone, mine was not listed and I couldn't put other. So I contacted Customer Service about this and they said oh we don't support your type of phone. Its written below on what we do support and what we do not. Well this was never advertised on the site I got everything off of. For 2 months now I have been going rounds with them in trying to get my money back. Wasn't my fault it wasn't advertised correctly, maybe they shouldn't have it advertised on websites that don't follow their policies. Not backing down until I get my money back, this is bull crap.

I downloaded Fonepaw and got an error message about not having the right verification. When I reached out to them I got NO response. I ended up having to buy a new phone and when I asked for a refund they said if I used the License Key I could NOT get a refund. How do you know if the product is going to work or not if you don't use the license key?
I purchased the program because I thought it would be better. I purchased the program the company said to. Well the company said it was the wrong program and would t work. They wouldn't tell me the correct program and wouldn't refund. Then they got rude and nasty. Find a program that works on a droid and stay far away from this business. I would give zero stars but that wasn't an option.

Got scammed into this software purchase because i was panicking because my Galaxy S6 was not working correctly. I have contacted for refund but was told they have a strict refund policy which they say you have to give them proof of phone model, screenshots of problem etc etc. I cant give them that because i dont have the phone no more because i took it to the shop i bought it from and i was told that the phone was unrepairable so i have claimed a new phone from my phone insurance. I have told customer service this but they just repeat the same bull$#*! every time, they dont seem to take in that i no longer have the phone. Scamming Bastards

The product doesn't work, it's a fraud, a scam, the support doesn't work, terrible support, don't buy this, don't get caught up in this messy scam, I regret 100% my purchase, and now I'll have to cancel my credit card! DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT.

DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT. It will not backup your group messages so you will not be able to restore them. I have tried working with the customer support team and it is almost impossible. It takes anywhere from 7 to 10 days to get a response and then the response is to view the product videos on their website or on YouTube. That does NOT show me how to backup group messages. There is no distinction on any of their material that indicates that group text messages are not included in the backups. After 1 month, I finally received this response: "We have verified your order information, your situation meets our company's refund policy condition. We will handle refund service for you. Please wait patiently." that was on July 11,2022. On July 19,2022, I asked for the status of the refund. On August 1,2022, I received a response telling me that they wanted to do further troubleshooting and gave me detailed instructions on what to do to provide them the logs needed to troubleshoot the problem. The problem with their detailed instructions was it requesting logs for the FonePaw Data Recovery product which is not what I purchased or even mentioned in any of my communications. This company should NOT be allowed to exist based on their lack of knowledge of their products and more importantly their HORRIBLE customer service.

I accidentally deleted pictures off my phone and tried to retrieve them with this app. I paid for the download and, in the instructions, it says it is not recommended to "root" if you have a Verizon or AT&T phone. The only way to retrieve deleted pictures is 1. The phone needs to be rooted and 2: lost data hasn't been overwritten by new content. Well, since they do not recommend rooting on a Verizon phone, which I have, I sent an email asking for a refund. I figure if the app developers themselves don't recommend it then they must know what they are talking about. This all transpired on Aug 12th and I am still trying to get a refund. I have been going back and forth with them. First they explained about the root system which I responded to that they themselves recommended not to do on a Verizon phone. Then they asked for the model of my phone to prove it was a verizon phone, which I did. Then i got an email that gave me a link to a site that would help me root the phone. That tutorial was sent 8/26, fourteen days after I sent the original email stating I couldn't use their app. The data had been overwritten by new content by 8/26 because they basically advised I couldn't use their app. I again asked for a refund to which I get a reply saying they offer a free trial and there I would have seen that the rooting step was needed. I wanted my pictures and chose to believe they could supply an app that would help me so I just bought it outright. STAY AWAY, especially if you are a Verizon or AT&T phone user.
