I unsubcribed immediately after using template for one letter and now there is a $35 charge on my account.
I recently signed up for a free trial to edit a couple of pdf's had to put in card details to be able to export them. Completely forgot to cancel until I had an annual fee of $135 Aus dollars. Once cancelled I can no longer use their services that I just accidentally payed a full year for. They are absolutely scummy please do not use. I will be contacting consumers affairs about this.
It says that the services are free but after creating an invoice you will be asked for a credit card number before being allowed to print or save
This program is completely misleading. It makes it appear as if it is free until you have to download your PDF. This is what happened to me. Then even when I signed up for the free trial I found out that my PDF file is too long for the program to download. And so all the work that I just put into it is completely void. AVOID THIS PROGRAM AT ALL COSTS!
Do not sign up with this company. They sneak bill you every so often figuring you won't catch it. That's crooked in my world. Charging for something you didn't want or authorized is a form of stealing from the consumer. I am but a grain of sand on a beach BUT together we can shut them down if we make complaints to the Feds. Enough complaints and they will respond. Let's become the beach not the grain of sand.
I worked for this company and the employees are very racist they dislike African Americans out of order
I spent quite a bit of time going through their reasonably smooth process to generate a codicil to a will. When I click on the link that gives the details of what I was agreeing they could do with the information I had entered (some financial info, my address, who I was leaving money too, etc.) They were as far as I could tell saying they would be sharing that info (selling it?) to others.
I was appalled. It was disturbing enough that I had to quit before printing my form.
I suspect I thereby got my answer to my nagging question regarding all the sites that offer to generate legal and other forms free (which was "why/how are they doing this free?")
That is, I suspect many of the sites that offer free form preparation are, like FormSwift doing it to get access to your info.
Their assurance, which I think I read on their site, that they don't sell your email address is minor compared to what they imply they will do.
READ THE FINE PRINT OF THEIR AGREEMENT before putting in the work to generate a form, I suggest. That is their terms of service and/or privacy policy.
I gave them three stars instead of just two because as far as I could tell the form they would have generated would have been appropriate.
I am so impressed with their customer service. I spoke with David in the chat when I couldn't get my documents to print. With just a couple questions, he knew what my problem was and offered ways to fix it. The The error was my fault, I accidently started a new account by opening the website in a different browser. He asked if I had any other email addresses, and realized that that was where my paid trial was.
Because I created a document in the wrong place, he took my document and email it to me so I could open it and print it. He went above and beyond and was very polite and very fast. I'm already enjoying the website but because of his customer service I am more than likely going to purchase the year subscription once my trial is over.
Thank you, David! Keep up the great work. You get 10... x10=
But as others have mentioned, you fill out the supposed free documents, and after minutes of inputting the information and go to print or download the documents, they make you sign up for a subscription. Whatever, $2 is what it is. If they actually advertised it being $2, I probably would've picked them anyway for being honest. Oh well. I see coming on here people had a problem with still being charged. Thankfully I did cancel my subscription right away, and I did also take a picture of my cancelation screen letting me know I successfully canceled. Try it formswift, you will lose. Beware all
I found two $30 charges to my credit card, and I feel cheated and angry. The single form I attempted to use didn't even work. Seems like bait and switch to me. Beware, it's NOT free; what they describe is misleading. I recommend giving your $'s to a more honest and forthcoming business. FormSwift is essentially a skillful, lying, pick pocket thief.
Maybe it's because I have a Mac or am using it on a chrome browser. Maybe it's because I only did the free trial, and not the $75/month version. Regardless, this tool is not intuitive, it's extremely glitchy, and so frustrating to use. I wish I had started my project on something else or even just built a new doc from scratch.
I google PDF form filler. This garbage is one of the first results, I click because it say "FREE". Two hours later I finish filling out a 42 page document, only to not be able to print, or download the file even after giving my credit card details and information and signing up for a trial.
I contact support, to only be told that the file is too big and isn't compatible with their service. Not only all this, but using the service was horrible. They charge 6USD a month for basic membership after a 7 day trial. But the service is so buggy, you'd have to pay me to use it again. Its beyond me how someone could create this piece of trash that doesn't even check if the input file size is compatible.
HORRIBLE SERVICE DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME LIKE I DID
THIS APP IS TRASH AND NO ONE SHOULD USE IT IT IS A SCAM AND EVERYONE USING IT IS GOING OT GET SCAMMED ALL OF THE PEOPLE THERE SUCK AND THE APP IS ABSOLUTE TRASH
I cancel the membership before 7 day to prevent monthly payments because I never was able to used or print any forms so was a wasted time try to used, so a cancel and they keep charging for monthly fees, I try to contact and they said the same from all other that they don't have any record thet I cancel
I signed up for this service to get a couple forms just like everyone else did. The first month for a dollar 99. At the end of the first month if I didn't contact them or cancel they would sign me for the year contract for a little over $70 in which on the 30th day just like promised they signed me up. I called and canceled thankfully I cought it on my bank statement and Lynn took it off my account as promised. I was a little worried at first with the over 300 negative comments of this happening to other people who didn't take actions for their responsibilities. And now has a year subscription to form swift. Haha don't let negligence on your part reflect on their company! Grow up America
All too common internet company that offers free service - only to find out that after completing document there is charge for the service.
On call with company rep - tells me that there is a "FREE" option, of course the free option is does not show up with the other pay options
Company rep's response when I register complaint is that "I came to them" typical misrepresentation of truth - I went to them because they advertised free when free really meant a charge
I STRONGLY RECOMMEND AVOIDING FORM SWIFT
They are the worst, rudest and most uneducated Support/CSR
I had to writ back to the CSR as:
You are the worst, rudest and most uneducated CSR I have ever experienced in my life - you have no product knowledge and unwisely dense as brick, and I don't know why they have put you there to answer the phone!?
I will put my review on you, the company and your product online just as I experienced that no one would go through what I did!
From 1-10 you don't even deserve minus 2! :/
This company is trash they lie and steal from there customers and all of these good reviews they have are fake they paid there employees to make good reviews. They are not FREE and they will take your money but they cannot keep it if you request a refund, do not let them say they can only refund 2 charges because they have to by California law refund every penny if you request it.
This companyy is actively and fraudelently engaging in unfair and deceptive tradev practices. They illegally charge for no service rendered in the middle of a pandemic what a deplorable busines
Answer: No. After I agreed to pay $1.95 for one day's use, I filled out the 1099 form and printed it. The form says its just a 1099 information for and warned you cannot submit it to the IRS or you will be charged penalties. I looked up the IRS regs and you can only submit a 1099 form to the IRS that you order from the IRS. FormSwift's 1099 information form is worthless so selling it as if it was the real IRS 1099 form is a scam. Worse, I only agreed to pay $1.95 but FormSwift charged my credit card $39.00. I disputed the charge today with my credit card company who gave me a $39.00 credit it says is permanent. It was a complete rip-off.
Answer: Min cost is $1.95 and goes up from there. No free services are offered in spite of advertised as free.
Answer: Would not convert to Word. Only offered pdf format.
Answer: I used the privacy app so they won't have a chance to charge me again.
