Just awful
December 7, 2015

I wish I could give this site no stars. This isn't a legal advice site, this is an alternate site for grownups that bully 8 years olds on YouTube site. I was harassed and stalked by a senior member because I wouldn't explain my moral standing (when I had explained thoroughly) on my post. She was maybe just not smart enough to finish reading the answer? When I say stalked I mean this stranger followed me for 2 days responding to every post I made with "go to Yahoo, you don't fit in here. This isn't an advice column, this is a real legal advice page" Then shared her entire story of her childhood in a post that was irrelevant to anything - ever. Ok... Really weird to say the least. I erased everything and am awaiting a deactivation- I don't want these jokers anywhere near my personal information. What a scam. It was like a hellish version of anonymous high school with grownups acting like 8 years old bullies. I'd stay away if you want real advice have a free consultation.

It's almost mostly the same people answering your questions a bunch of nasty bullies you're always wrong and nothing else it's just a waste of time talking to them they are of no help. If you want someone to argue with this is the place for you. CBG northern girl, zigner, ohiogal, steer clear of these people.

I used the freeadvice.com site to ask a lawyer a question.

Before submitting my question, the site prompted me whether I wanted a private, confidential answer to the question from a lawyer OR to submit it for free.

If you wanted a private, confidential answer, there was a small charge. And your question and answer is not visible online. And you can ask a follow-up question without an additional charge.

Scroll down the page further on and there is the free option.

Jessica may not have scrolled down the entire page to see the free option.

One of if not THE MOST hostile website forum I have ever been on since the internet began. Even the most innocent of questions will be slammed, YOU will be slammed. Are these atty's? Or even adults? Or?

Nothing but emotionally adolescent idiots taking advantage of web-anonymity to be exactly that. The behavior's little better than what you see on many Youtube comments pages. Spare yourself the personal attacks that most of them enjoy, and don't post there.

I'd really give this annoying, useless site -5 stars! I asked a question and all the usual idiots came out of the woodwork -

Ohiogal (I agree with the other poster about this loser being an unloved cat lady, LOL),

Zigner (a full of himself jerk who gives terrible advice)

Blue Meanie (Who I affectionately called, "BM" as in Bowel Movement)

And on and on. Don't expect any advice from this band of jokers. They obviously have NO lives and NO brains to boot.

For those of you wronged - I got some good revenge on them by calling out their idiocy over and over, with some good insults in the mix.

I asked a few questions and was answered rudely. I was told I could have found my answer by using my favorite search engine instead of asking their advice. Very god advice for others. Don't use their site, google what you want to know first!

I posted a question on the website seeking some advise and what I got was far from that. The response I got for my question was far from insight full and rude. What I have read in some of the other reviews about the members being insensitive and giving little to no legal insight is true. Nothing but a bunch of cyber bullies that will go to any length to make you feel sorry you even tried to get help from the site. The person who said you were better off going to google first is correct, and I was actually advised by some of the senior members that I could've found my answer by just using my favorite search engine to research it. So, why have a place that offers free advise, but their senior members will jump at the chance to tell you that you didn't need them in the first place. It is a waste of time.

Posting advise
November 10, 2012

Posting advise-
Posters should proceed with caution and research the advise on the site before posting.

Look at the senior members posting history. The advise on this site is free but is not always from a professional person. It is hard to tell who you are taking advise from.

The advise from the senior members is not delivered with any degree of sensitivity, empathy or compassion. You will rarely find an advocate here although sometimes the information will be useful and insightful.

In some cases you will find the advise un-constructive - i. E unnecessarily negative in nature. Some senior members will quickly digress into a personal attack on the original poster.

Not a source for sound, rational, polite advise.

First of all I'd like to say that if I could've given less than one star, I would've. I was desperate and hoping I could find some outside insight to a very difficult situation. Who is going to look for advice to something simple? So I carefully describe what happened and it's like the dumbest, most judgemental people you could imagine come out of the wood work. This site really made me so angry I questioned any hope I had left in humanity. If you go here, I recommend doing it for trolling purposes, since that is all they will do to you, and if you call them out on it, they call you rude. This was the post I made, and while everyone may have their own judgements on the post itself, there is no doubt that the responses were anything but 'advice.'
