This site is so fabulous! I love all their clothes. It is my favorite place to shop. It might be a little too addictive, because there stuff is just so amazing. All their clothes are super cute and unique. Most stores sell the same boring crap. Looking through the clothes on this site is like visiting an art museum/ runway show. Love it! They also have stores all over the place, so you know that it isn't a scam. I don't trust just any website. It is a lot more fun searching online for clothes, and their selection is better than going to the store.
The customer service for this store and their umbrella company urban outfitters is abysmal. God forbid there's any issues with your order or account, which they themselves cause because their representatives are completely incompetent or just don't care, don't expect any real time assistance and forget about any resolution after they string you along. This is, I feel, a niche clothing brand targeting a specific market, and expensive to boot. Alienating their customer base and instead of trying to resolve issues, simply cutting off customers is really a miserable way to conduct business. Do their corporate officers know or care how their customer service departments are handling their consumers? I would still love to shop some of their pieces, but have been prevented from doing so directly with the company, and after the awful way they have treated me as a loyal customer, I just don't want to have anything to do with this brand ever again, and I've previously spent hundreds, possibly thousands with them.
Online shipping delivery is an entire mess. Packages are so dirty it's Shame. They they receive orders and sometimes u get in a month or u don't get at all or lost or some sorry. Customer service is useless and full of lies. Keep giving the go around and waste your time bout to delete the app and forget about them not worth the stress
I would feel safer ordering on Facebook from an unknown Chinese retailer than ordering from Free People. Orders placed with next day shipping haven't been received a month later and every customer service rep has a different story. All of them are contradictory and essentially lies. While I like the clothing, the customer service- particularly the shipping- is an absolute nightmare. I order online almost daily and have never encountered worse service. This company needs to get it together.

I ordered a dress and necklace for an event and that was 9 days ago... it has never left the shipping facility and they want me to wait another 7 days? They don't care and seemed un bothered. Reno NV to Salt Lake City, UT should be a 3 day delivery process. Ontrac also seems to not care. Do better, use a better delivery service... get people who can be helpful on your customer service line. Never ordering from FP again.
I am a regular customer with free people and have been very pleased till now. I did not receive a pair of shoes in my order. When I called to tell them they told me "too bad" for that reason I will never shop there again... very poor customer service

I received my order a month later than the expected timeframe and customer service has been negligent to my inquiries through both phone and email regarding the late shipment. The clothes itself are of decent quality but not worth the cost, hassle, or wait time.
I ordered the All Star Solid Pullover in black on the app for $99. When I received the product the tag price was $88. I called customer service and the lady said to email them with a picture of the tag and my order number. Still waiting to hear from them. Just be careful when buying online or on the app. They charge more!
I was sent someone else's product, And still charged for my own. I spent over four hours (at least) trying to remedy the situation. There was a lack of continuity with each rep I spoke with and many did not understand how to resolve the problem. I then had an account hold after trying to call an assigned rep at least ten times and leaving detailed vms with no response. They wanted me to pay for the other customers product as well that I did not order nor did I want. Two of the reps could not even send the attached smart label for return correctly. By far my worst online ordering experience for any online purchase. Very disappointing and still not fully resolved. Offered nothing but a headache and I have to drive to drop off the product myself as they are too cheap to send a driver out to pick up from my address.
I have been a customer of free people for years. The last two purchases I had an issue with my deliveries. The customer services is ATROCIOUS! They have no interest in helping you find your package once it's lost and basically told me to call back if the package doesn't show up in ten days. They won't track it, they can't even tell you if it's the postal service or UPS that has it. I got a super on the phone both times and again. Absolutely no help whatsoever. I love the clothes but they have lost a customer..

I kept the product I took 2 weeks to track and then had to take a taxi to go pick it up at some random location that UPS chose to leave it at .. the next package I haven’t gotten yet.. because it says it’s delivered and it’s not.. customer service has no interest in helping track it either my review is not about the products it’s about their awful customer service.

First of all, I received a wrong item. Which I thought they remedied quickly. I was refunded after returning the item.
Then, a few weeks later, I was RECHARGED. What!?
I have called 5 times now and been told that I would be re-refunded. Still nothing.
I took it to messaging/e-mailing. Was told by one person the refund would come through, but for $9 less than what I paid. What? Why? I responded and I didn't hear back from him.
I received a separate email asking me THE SAME questions I have been asked over 5 times now. Do they not keep records.
This is so ridiculous. Such a waste of time. So disappointing.
I'm a loyal free people customer, I live in a small town that makes it hard to shop so I do most shopping online. I know their brand and I deal with their $#*!ty customer service. I'm not a well off girl but I save to be able to purchase what I do on the site. Take it from me and like all the reviews everywhere this company sucks at the service level. Yet we still shop here. I ordered a month before they were supposed to ship a pair of pants and a jumpsuit, I guess because I don't spend *******. 00s of dollars a week my order went to someone else, I was no longer able to purchase even after I purchased these pants months before the release. These people could care less. $#*! free People

I agree with another reviewer here…LaserShip is the WORST delivery service! Despite my numerous complaints to Free People, they continue to use this vendor. LaserShip will often say a package is delivered when there's nothing. What's worst is that the delivery note says that it was delivered at the front door or to an actual person when that's a flat out lie! I wonder about the possibility of fraud going on here because seriously, where are all the packages going? Frustrating!
I never received my order, the courier claimed my address didn't exist. The goods were apparently returned to Free People, I was charge for it. I've been calling for 2 months to get a refund, still not resolved. They are driving me mad! $200 down the trash...!
The absolute worst website I have ever bought anything from! Regret making an order, here the service is terrible! 5 days after making my order it still has not shipped! They refuse to issue me a refund yet won't ship my order. Basically have stolen my money! I'm a frequent online shopper & have never come across such terrible customer service! FP does not seem to understand or care about how they ship. Items are shipped in pieces... never together as ordered and not packaged in any way that matched the crazy prices of their china/india imports. I purchased a dress that was well over 200. And it was shipped in a plastic envelope that was crammed into my mailbox that is not secure. The other items that shipped floated in one by one. No boxes. Only flimsy plastic envelopes shipped by the cheapest way possible whenever they feel like it. I gave up ordering from them. Customer service does not care either.
If there was a 1/2 star, that would even be too much! I ordered Jeans, took a long time to get. Once it came in the mail I got two shirts, for $160. Jeans that I bought. The individual's name and address was inside the package of who it belonged to. I called them in hopes that they had my Supernova Cord Jeans. They said that they had someone's shoes instead and was returning them back to FP. DO NOT PURCHASE! You are taking a chance on getting what you paid for. This Company is a JOKE! Now the jeans that I ordered are no longer available. WTH!

I read a lot about Free People. I ordered from them.
Big mistake
Twice, they did not deliver the item I paid for.
The second time, they sent me an empty container.
The first time, a bra/top that was of terrible quality and I did not even order it.
So. 45 days later, I still do not have the item I ordered and paid for. I ordered it from the brand, and of course they delivered!
If you see a product you like, please do not order from Free People.

After 20 days not receiving my item, they asked me to wait another 10 days. Not even suggesting a refund. When I told them I will just open a claim on PayPal, they threatened me if I do that, I would be blocked from their website... better because that's terrible customer service!
I only wish I had checked the customer reviews before ordering. At that time there was ONLY 1 positive review and all the other bad! I'm still waiting on my order even though Free People sent and email stating HAD been delivered! Nope! Not true. Talked with at least 12 different reps and their hands are tied because they, too, are in the dark. It's ridiculous. 2 of those people told me that it's common for a driver to state the package HAS been delivered when it HAS NOT! What? Who does that? Oh, yeah, I know... FREE PEOPLE! Don't shop here. Nordstrom's has the best customer service around. Well, actually, EVERYONE has better customer service than Free People. Buy at your own risk. Too bad.

I order so much from this company online and I am not going to any longer. I have worked for retail companies they actually carry and can't believe how horrible the return policy and customer service is. The quality and merchandise has been lacking for quite some time now. Time to spend my money elsewhere.
Wow, I bought a puff jacket from free people, and £140 puff jacket but started falling apart in a few weeks. So, I left my honest review of the product within their website. A few hours later, I got an email notice that they have rejected my review, wow, no wonder they only got 4-5 stars reviews on their store, liar! I am not shopping this brand again for sure.

The jacket was nicely shaped and easy to match with any styles. I bought the black one, and I even like the colour of the zip is in purple. However, I only bought it for one month, probably wore 5-6 times, the jacket is already starting to wear off, some white cotton bits are coming out from the stitch line, and getting more and more for every wore. My boyfriend thought it must be a cheap jacket. I bought it for £140 in the UK, which is not cheap at all. Uniqlo's jacket would cost half but last longer.
All high end stores ag free or returns or at least exchanges without a receipt as long as tags and within 14 days. I got something for Mother's Day and wanted to exchange but said I had to have a receipt. If I want to be treated that way I'd shop at forever 21. Don't waste your money. Go to Lulu or Alo.
I have purchased so many clothing items from Free People for over ten years. Love the style but hate the quality! I have purchased mostly everything for full price and there's an expectation when you are paying full price. I had a leather jacket, well I thought it was leather that I wore in public recently and all the leather start flaking off the jacket shedding onto my clothing. I. Ever realized that it was a thin layer of sone type of synthetic. The jacket was around $480.00. Last evening I took my favorite handbag that was suede, and lightly used and I had to have my husband stop the car as the chunks of suede were adorning my black outfit. This handbag was $150.00. My clothing is maintained in a home that stays between 68 and 70 degrees year round. I'll be honest with you I never expected this to happen and I love the style dearly, but I must say I will not be back to shop due to quality concerns.
Horrible service and customer care. Placed an order 20 days ago, not received, impossible to track, with probably additional customs fees to pay, which I was not aware of and I have also been misinformed about shipping options and timing. And I don't think I will ever receive the product honestly. I asked for a refund and they denied it. I will go forward with a lawyer. Don't ever buy from freepeople.com!
