When I first wanted to hire a freelancer, I was overwhelmed with the advise on the Internet - ask this, do this, don't do this, avoid this, etc. I was researching a marketplace for freelancers when I found FreeeUp. It had simple tutorials to follow. Plus the VAs were already vetted so that eliminated much of the work I would need to do.
