I purchased two RO filters from them at a cost of $250 each. One was no good and they refused to replace it. "Our margins are to low" this is how they treat their customers.
The Freshwater System I had installed has relieved my of any worries I had with our drinking water. Our supply is from a spring that runs year round and close to the ground surface. The system in conjunction with the filters are keeping my water supply safe. I appreciate the ease of mind knowing my water will not make us sick.
I have been a customer of Freshwater Systems for about 3 years now. I bought the Sterilight UV water treatment system. I have ordered new lights every year and the service has always been great -- the free shipping is actually pretty fast in comparison to some sites that offer free shipping. My only complaint with them this time is that they sent me a different brand of UV light with no explanation. I have contacted them via their contact e-mail to inquire as to why but I have not received an answer yet. UPDATE: They did e-mail me and explained that the brand I received was the parent company of Sterilight and that they are the same. I'll update their rating to 5 stars.
The overall customer service was good. Though disappointed that the bulb failed at 5 1/2 months to begin with, and that they did not warranty the sleeve as well that we bought with the original bulb, so it cost us to replace it.
Also the fact that it took almost a week for a call to come back to us that the light would be covered in warranty, as if we bought a replacement and paid for it, the companies would have been quick to send it out. I would like to see the same with warranted items.
I would be very satisfied with experience except, when I made purchase, I also returned an incorrect item for exchange of new item. You received returned item on Monday September 14, but 8 days later and I have not received a credit for the returned item. It's funny it doesn't take you 7 days to debit account when a purchase it made?
I spent a lot of time researching and searching for the correct replacement for my homes water pressure regulator. I wanted the same regulator to avoid having to repipe to fit a different style or model. Once I got on the internet I eventually found what I was looking for. I stumbled on the FreshwaterSystems site in my search. I found the site helpful and informative and also found out I needed a specific model since I live in California (lead free). After continued searches on the net I kept returning to FreshwaterSystems since they had the best price along with the fact I knew exactly what I was ordering unlike some of the other sites. The bonus was great service and fast shipping. I installed several weeks ago and it is working perfectly. I will recommend them when my neighbors start having the same issues I had.
Received a part that was a different size than the website says. Called and complained and he said nothing he can do. I insisted and he lied and said he would send a FedEx label so I could return it. NEVER DID. Stuck with incorrect part and lost the money. Will never order from you again.
In my first order with FreshwaterSystems I received a broken item and another part of the order never arrived. The broken item was clearly not packed correctly. It was replaced. The missing part of the order was incorrectly resent, requiring another email and phone call. I have not received the final item yet, but I'm hopeful. The staff I spoke to on the phone were very nice, but that really isn't the same as good service.
The hot water sediment filter was the perfect solution for our cabin in the (Frisco CO) mountains. Having dealt with little 'rocks' in the water every time we came up to the cabin, it was time to find a solution. It became apparent that the problem was only with the hot water line when an error message appeared on the washing machine display. Turns out that the screen on the hot water side was almost completely plugged. Cold water had no obstructions whatsoever. Had it installed by a local plumber who was impressed and expects to recommend it now for other customers in the area.
I have used this company in the past and have enjoyed the convenience and service. But this time I was not happy with the packaging. The bulb was intact but wedged precariously inside one half of the styrofoam. It was dirty and appeared to have glue or something similar on it. I hope it lasts for 1 year. Will probably shop else where next time.
Product was supposed to be in stock then took 4 days to ship out. Order shipped supposedly by FedEx (Smartpost I think) and a tracking number was issued, well a label was printed is what it really said and stayed that way the whole time. Waited several more days but tracking number showed no movement and was told by customer service it probably got put on wrong truck. Few more days go by and still no updates or call backs so canceled order. Found through some reviews this seems to be an issue with you folks so I suggest you clean up your act in the shipping department.
I ordered 2 filters that I thought were in stock. After receiving my order I noticed one filter was wrong. I dealt with Kenneth and he took care of everything and I received and installed both filters. It took longer than I expected but I am happy.
I called to talk to customer service. I was on hold for 20 minutes. The lady was not helpful at all and she was rather rude. She didn't help me at all. It was a waste of time. I ended up ordering a different part with Amazon.
I have been buying SeaGull water purification cartridges from Freshwater Systems for several years. Their price is the best I have found and I have been very pleased with the product. Easy to do business with and never had a single problem.
This is the first time ordering from this company and will probably be the last. When I spend over $100 for replacement cartridges for my reverse osmosis I expect to receive them packaged together as I have in the past from other dealers, not loose in a box. I also expect instructions on how to replace the filters and the membrane. Guess Google will have to pick up the slack that this company couldn't take the time to do.
Best customer service, a filter was on back order, they call and let me know and offered a different filter if I did not want to wait. I was very impressed getting that phone call and think very highly of this company
A person answered the phone, which I like! She looked back over my order and helped to get the correct filter. She was very helpful and I took a very shot time. She had an American voice, so I could understand her.
I ordered two replacement water filters because the price was lower than any other company for the same filter. The installation was easy. With standard shipping, the filter arrived within a few day. Freshwater Systems is a good company to work with.
After trying out several online suppliers for water systems (filters, UV lights, control systems), I have chosen Freshwater Systems. I was able to find a new power supply for a UV treatment system for half the price that a local water treatment company was charging and even had it shipped next-day delivery on a Saturday. Very happy with the prices, delivery service, and refund policy, all in all.
Sometimes we are able to order from Fresh water and get our items right away, and then other times, it takes several weeks to get them. It would be easier to manage back order items if I was aware and could trust the dates I am given. When I place the order, it doesn't indicate that the items are back ordered and many times, when I do get a back order date, it doesn't hold true.
I ordered 3 low price lamps in the past year or so and have problems with all of them this time I got a sterilite uv lamp and found it to be of much higher quality it works good I will use them in the future as it is worth the extra cost
The website along with customer service provided an excellent experience. Yes this purchase was superior to a purchase through Amazon. I found you as a link on the Amazon website, and I will be back for another filter in 6-7 monthd.
Ordered extra filter screen with original $100.00 order, screen was defective, ordered another. Sent wrong one, talked to three different reps on different days, was finely sent a return lapel and FedExed as instructed Was told another screen would be sent and a refund for the other. I now have $50.00 tied up in screens and empty promises
I followed the instructions on the third party filter for our ge fridge but after several attempts could not get it to work without leaking all over the fridge. Ended up purchasing a mwf filter from ge and it worked fine.
There is no contact information or any information identifying that the products came from Freshwater systems in the return information in the box... I need connectors for 1/4 tubing and would have liked to contact them back but didn't have the info in the box...

I ordered a TAC descaler. They sent me the wrong couplers (3/4 instead of 1") with no packing slip or instructions. The template was in a plastic bag tied with a knot. I complained and asked for my money back and they refused. I also asked for them to send me the instructions. I never heard back from them.
