I purchased two RO filters from them at a cost of $250 each. One was no good and they refused to replace it. "Our margins are to low" this is how they treat their customers.

I liked the products/pricing available on the website and my order was processed and shipped in a timely fashion.
I did not like the fact that even though I registered on the website, my shopping cart was not saved. This happened on more than one occasion and resulted in quite a bit of wasted time and missing a few items that I would otherwise have ordered.

Also, when you haven't even shipped the order, it's really jumping the gun to start pestering your customers for a review, at least if you are looking for the review to be positive. Your supply chain and order fulfillment processes need work, and going forward, hold off on asking your customers to review their shopping experience until AFTER they've actually received their order.

Customer service was always very attentive. The challenges were more with the product and follow up. It was back ordered. When I called into have the order released, it did not get followed through with and did not get processed. I eventually had to call back in and go through Customer service to get the order re-released and processed. A few extra calls to Cust Service that could have been avoided.

There were a few questions I had that were going to be emailed back to me with a response that never happened. I guess someone forgot. Overall they are good.

Ordered the wrong item (my mistake) but it was delivered promptly. Ordered the right item but didn't find out it wasn't in stock until a few days later (had I known I would have looked elsewhere). Was notified the item was on back order (twice) and finally received it on the revised schedule. The instructions provided for the return item were ridiculously complicated, but the return was processed promptly with no re-stocking fee. Seems like everyone at Freshwater Systems tries to do the right thing, but their systems need improvement (online access to inventory data - are items in stock, accurate back order times) and the return process and instructions need streamlining.

When I received the product, they sent something I didn't order and did not send the actual pump. We spoke to someone on 4/30/16 and someone was suppose to get back to us. We did not get a call back. They did say they would send it out but they were going to confirm that on the following Monday.

Very bad service and worse customer service.
My contract finish and they supposed to refund my deposit every month is required to ordered 5btl most of the month I keep buying 10bottle more than what they required. Been 4 years with this company. When come to refund deposits then all the reasons they said. Just not to give ur deposit, ( outstanding payment for year 2017 which I had pay all coz if u have Credit to clear they stop sending me to my previous ordered and send letter for outstanding amount)

I have been a loyal customer for years. I got a mineralization filter for my RO system and I noticed a CA Prop65 sticker on it with a reproductive health and cancer warning. When I asked if the warning was due to the materials in the housing or was it the filter? I got the runaround and they said it only applied to CA. So the materials don't harm non-Californians? How stupid. They said they didn't know and told me to call manufacturer. They were no help either and told me to call Fresh Water as the don't apply the stickers. So I guess I have to just suck up that my water supply may in fact cause health issues when in fact I bought an expensive RO system to accomplish safe and healthy water? These folks were golden until I got this right wing dismissive bull and apathy when I am concerned about my health. Not good folks.

They sent the wrong tubing (not a little wrong-way wrong). They required photos of the wrong tubing's embossed label that were not possible to take. Then they required that they receive back the wrong material before shipping the correct material. Then it sat on their desk for 2 weeks before I called and asked why I had not gotten the correct tubing yet. I will not order from this company again.

Instead of using the free shipping offer, I paid the additional amount to have the order shipped quicker. It did arrive in 2 or 3 days, but the elbows that I really needed to return the customer's unit to service had been left out of the shipment. After a phone call, the needed parts arrived a few days later. Should have used the free shipping?

Business History

Fresh Water Systems began its life as a small water cooler sales and service business in Southern California. The company grew quickly and soon expanded into filtration. In the late 1990s, FWS was approached by a national pharmaceutical chain about supplying them with treatment and dispensing systems needed to provide the USP-Grade water required for formulating certain medications. (In-house systems eliminate the need for expensive and short shelf-life bottled water.) In 2004, the company relocated its headquarters to Greenville in the verdant Appalachian foothills of South Carolina. Today Fresh Water Systems is one of the largest direct providers of all things related to water treatment and purification, supplying both homeowners and internationally recognized corporations with everything from hard-to-find small filter parts to large-scale purification systems. In 2014, the company moved into a new building with greatly expanded warehouse, call center and office space from where it serves an ever-increasing number of customers throughout the US and internationally.
