I purchased two RO filters from them at a cost of $250 each. One was no good and they refused to replace it. "Our margins are to low" this is how they treat their customers.

I bought a product and it failed. Tech support was at first a decent amount of help. Customer service dept was horrible.

I called back and spoke to tech support, this guy is a total POS. He is unable to admit anything is wrong with their service or their company.

Complete and total Egotistical azzhat.

I will never shop there again.

Ordered a water filter system for my boats galley, the online information was confusing so i chatted with some one who validated that all the parts would work together. The wrench that was shipped did not fit the filter body so i couldn't use it.

It took one chat that went silent on me, several calls and one message left on the always to busy service line (never received a call back) and finally a conversation with someone from new sales.

The chat person and the live person from sales both insisted that i had the correct wrench, when i asked them to double check both admitted that i had been shipped the wrong wrench.

A new wrench was shipped at no charge, the situation was resolved, not happy that i needed to invest 60 minutes to resolve.

Most suppliers would only offer the complete fresh water system and / or insta hot water systems,, ( i already had the purifiers and tanks,, just needed a faucet they offered it.

I re-ordered a reverse osmosis filter kit that I had ordered last year. Last year I received the right filter. This year they sent the sa, e filter, but with the wrong connector ends. When I called to arrange to swap it for the right one, I was told that I could go to Home Depot and buy some adaptors. The other option was to re-order (and pay for) a the proper filter, then send the wrong filter back for a refund, with me paying shipping both ways. Since it was their mistake, I believe they should have shipped me the proper filter with a pre-paid return label to send the wrong one back.

We followed their advice, ordering what turned out to be the wrong filters. Phone support wasn't that good in resolving the issue. The process took too long to find out that they didn't even have what we needed in the end. Eventually, a full refund was issued.

I used to buy their chlorine filter replacement cartridge and stopped using it when I found out that Denver uses chloramine in place of free chlorine. Then after a few years FWS sent me a new chlorine cartridge as they still had my Visa number. I decided to use it anyway because it does filter out some contaminants. I need to cancel my order with them.

Placed an order on 1/22/16 - when I received the order on 1/27/16 there was a part missing. I requested a credit for the missing part and asked to be e-mailed as to whether the credit was issued. As of today, I still don't know if credit was issued! No one has gotten back to me. I made 3 calls since 1/27/16.
I guess I will be calling again today!

Ordered five items to enhance my Reverse Osmosis System. Even though the site showed they had the pump they sent be another brand but still charged the price of the model I wanted. The pump they sent arrived broken from poor packing. They told me they couldn't get the model I wanted for weeks. They paid to return everything then took a long time crediting my account. I eventually got my money back. Check Better Business Bureau. I wish I had!

Shipping notification indicated second order should arrive within three days. Took eleven days for delivery. Not sure where the error occurred, but the tracking site had the order going to a postal site in Vale, NC, then back to Greenville. The order was supposed to go from Greenville, SC to Columbia, SC. The first order tracking record did not show that package going to the Vale site. Had a job on hold, for a week, due to the shipping delay.

I was really please with this experience. I have a couple of forewarnings... The site is so large it's a little tricky to navigate. Once I figured it out - all of the information is there, EVERYTHING. I ordered a number of filters, housings, fittings... one small fitting was back ordered, it held up my shipment for 2 weeks. I was a little bummed about that. But everything cam as ordered. Finally, the prices are pretty good - so thats good! Will re-order filters and continue to use this site.

Business History

Fresh Water Systems began its life as a small water cooler sales and service business in Southern California. The company grew quickly and soon expanded into filtration. In the late 1990s, FWS was approached by a national pharmaceutical chain about supplying them with treatment and dispensing systems needed to provide the USP-Grade water required for formulating certain medications. (In-house systems eliminate the need for expensive and short shelf-life bottled water.) This led to FWS becoming the exclusive distributor of the PharMate® dispensing system, which the company continues to manufacture and service for over 15,000 pharmacies nationwide.

In 2004, the company relocated its headquarters to Greenville in the verdant Appalachian foothills of South Carolina. Today Fresh Water Systems is one of the largest direct providers of all things related to water treatment and purification, supplying both homeowners and internationally recognized corporations with everything from hard-to-find small filter parts to large-scale purification systems. In 2014, the company moved into a new building with greatly expanded warehouse, call center and office space from where it serves an ever-increasing number of customers throughout the US and internationally.

FWS recognizes that its business centers around water, one of the Earth's most valuable resources, and takes very seriously its commitment to improving its impact on the environment. The company actively promotes and seeks out products that reduce pollution and support global sustainability.
