Ordering was made effortless by the company's phone representatives and my exact order arrived many days ahead of its' scheduled arrival date. It would be a great world if all my internet transactions went so well.
I purchased two RO filters from them at a cost of $250 each. One was no good and they refused to replace it. "Our margins are to low" this is how they treat their customers.
The pump I ordered was back ordered, so I had to wait a week. No big deal. Then I received my pump and it did not come with required fittings. I called Freshwater Systems to see if maybe I made a mistake and needed to order said fittings. After two days of continuous calling and waiting while no one ever answered I left a voice message. Still haven't heard from anyone!
They carry all the items that I needed, the online chat was not as helpful as I wished, but using internet can make anybody an expert of anything! The items arrived as expected. I also wished that they had a cheaper shipping option, currently even if one buys a 0.59 cent item he/she still has to pay 5 dollars for shipping which seems too much, but as I could not find any other online/local store that carries everything that I needed, I used them.
I waited two and a half months for a carbon filter and they then send me a regular filter I could have bought two and a half months ago two blocks away. I chose to wait for the less expensive but lasts twice as long carbon 'candle' filter. When I open the package I'm so pissed. No explanation, nothing. Then I call and they only say it's still on back order. I think an established company, who profits from repeat customers coming back to get more filters, would explain in a note, in an email, something? Obviously I'm not a valued customer who's now sending back the filter and getting a better filter system. From a better class of company.
Our well pump went out and we needed a replacement in a hurry. The service was great, shipping on time, customer service answered every question with courtesy. Thanks so much - it works great, and quieter than the old one, too :)
Easy to use. Looks fine on counter. Not much larger than coffee maker. Have only had one week and have distilled 2 times per day and always once overnight. More than adequate for 2 person household - we use distilled water for cooking, coffee and for drinking. Water is crystal clear and better tasting than RO. My cardiologist recommended distilled as RO does not remove adequate levels of salt from whole house water softener. Love it and recommend without reservation.
No problem with product ordered, delivery was quick, but disappointed by delivery agent in that driver apparently too lazy to walk an extra 50 feet to put package on porch, out of the weather. It had rained between time of delivery and my arrival home such that the package was soaking wet by the time I arrived home. Plastic wrap of filters kept them dry. But driver could not have known what was inside the package and weather forecast was for heavy rain.
When I tried to place my order, it kept telling me that my e-mail address was not valid (the same one that you guys use to send me notices). After several days with support, this was acknowledge as a bug on your end and fixed. I applaud and appreciate the willingness to fix and the final outcome. But it was very frustrating up until then and added a week to how long it took me to get the UV lamp components I needed.
This company not only sent different water filters than was ordered, but then refused to give us more than 1/4 of the price we paid for the filters. In addition, they made us pay to return the incorrect product and insure it costing us an additional $17. So, after all was said and done, I paid them $111 for nothing.
Ordered an RO air gap faucet and received in about a week, all good. Except it is missing the clip to hold the battery and the battery. I have called twice and all they do is pass the buck. Cannot get an answer as to why or if I will ever see the part I need. How hard can it be to solve this problem? Just another example of ineptitude.
I purchased a quality water pressure regulator and installed it myself for a tenth of the price quoted to me by the plumbers! Quick delivery, and everything was as advertised. I would buy from them again!

I was charged over $300.00 for a wrong valve on my water system at a local plumbing supply company. Delivery is really quick. Phone service is very good also. Overall very happy with my experience with this company.

My RO unit took about a month longer to arrive than stated when I purchased the unit. When I would call to ask about anticipated delivery dates, response from freshwater systems was rather slow.
When we finally received the RO unit, there was some damage on the RO unit from shipping. I immediately let freshwater systems know about the damage but they have yet to rectify the situation one week later. I called freshwater systems to follow up and find out when replacement parts would be delivered, they told me they were looking into this situation and will get back to me with an update. It's been 4 days since this discussion, I still haven't heard back from fresh water systems. Another example of slow response.
The equipment and price is great, customer service/responsiveness needs significant improvement.

Very satisfied with this hard-to-find replacement in-line refrigerator water filter. Exactly the item I was expecting with the quick connect fittings. Delivery was fast. Put in use immediately and work great.
I was seeking information about fittings for plastic tubing. They asked questions that got more and more technical, then the agent would say "I have to research that" (paraphrased). Delays got longer and longer. Then the session timed out (a screen message from Freshwater) and I never got an answer. Later I tried Amazon and found what I needed quickly without problems.
As explained to your sales rep my Watts reverse osmosis system required a 1/4 inch line faucet. The one sent to me was 3/8 inch. Even though a reducing union was used as indicated on your product the water pressure coming from the faucet is very low. How can I increase the pressure without having to buy a new faucet. I live in Canada and drove down to the U.S. to buy filters for my water cooler since they were much cheaper than here. I was able to order everything I required online, and even paid for expedited shipping to ensure they would arrive by the time I travelled down. The next day Freshwater systems sent me an email to advise me that 1 of the items I required were sold out, and that they would ship the order 1 week later, well after my return home. Thankfully, when I called them I got to speak to someone that knew her stuff and she was able to find me a filter that would work to replace it, and even though it was more expensive, they matched the price. It did not fit as well since it was smaller, but zip ties took care of that issue.
All in all I was quite happy and will definitely use them again next time.
I am just amazed at how bad this company is. I ordered a PVC reducer, 3" to 1 1/2". They sent me a 3" to 1 1/2" reducer, but it already had a 1 1/2" threaded pipe glued into it. When I sent them a photo, they responded that they did not send what appears to a used product. As a customer I have never been accused of lying before. They may eventually accept their mistake, but their initial response is just terrible. I will never do business with them again, regardless if they do correct their error.

I ordered something that was a little difficult to find, even on the Internet. Well, they had it and I ordered. Not only that, but when I received it, I didn't understand something about the product, and emailed customer service. They got back with me VERY quickly on my several emails bouncing back and forth and took care of my questions. One of the better companies I have ever dealt with on the Internet. I normally don't even do reviews, but figured they deserved it after all the "hassle" I put them through. Thanks again!
The floor of the upper chamber is thin and offers poor support for the filters. Just the force of the water being poured in makes them move and wobble. It doesn't effect filtration but it's pretty flimsy and over time who knows how that will hold up.
