Ordering was made effortless by the company's phone representatives and my exact order arrived many days ahead of its' scheduled arrival date. It would be a great world if all my internet transactions went so well.
I purchased two RO filters from them at a cost of $250 each. One was no good and they refused to replace it. "Our margins are to low" this is how they treat their customers.
A few weeks ago I purchased a replacement UV bulb and sleeve kit. Two weeks later I received an email mail saying that it was time to purchase a replacement - suggests there was a communications miss at FreshwaterSystems.
I was also somewhat disappointed that new o-rings and spring were NOT included in the kit this year - last year's kit had all of those items. Otherwise the service was excellent.
Talk about rude service! I called them because some one used my credit card with them. Talked to a woman named Timala. Told her the problem, and she said, O well those things happen! I can see by the other reviews here I'm not saying anything new. I would never do any business with them.
Have a watts filter. Called to get smaller wrench needed. One shipped was way too big. Apparently there is two sizes of whole house filters. Measurements were not listed in description. Would have to pay shipping and a restocking charge per represenatve. No help in getting me the right size wrench either. Make sure you know what size you are ordering
Not to toot my own horn, but I had saved a copy of my order request for my water filter parts from my previous order. Therefore, my job re-ordering was far less time consuming. The folks at Freshwater Systems were most courteous and helpful. My order came promptly and all was in order, so to speak.
My experience with Fresh Water Systems included recommendations on the equipment best suited to my situation. I also made contact during shipping to clear up some questions about delivery. And finally I contacted them during the installation of the last part of the system. In every case the technical information, the timely responses and the open friendly replies made for a pleasant experience.
Rarely in today's e-commerce world when there is a problem is the merchant easily accessible by phone, much less readily responsive. Although we had some miscues on our order, not only do their customer service reps actually answer the phone quickly, a rarity theses days, but John Woodard, the customer service manager, once involved, not just straightened everything out quickly but responded like a true gentleman. Would not hesitate to work with again.
Well let's see, first the UPS guy came by and dropped off a package just like Santa at Christmas time. I got real excited and quickly opened the box and Whammo! There inside was our new spa tub filter. Now this filter model was bigger than the required size and I knew this but was hoping it would fit and it did Hallelujah! So I proceeded to drain and clean the tub. Did that, put it all back together and the water is full up and heating as we speak. Hope this describes my experience satisfactory for you all. This company charges your credit card... even when the stock is not available for 3 months! They need to send and charge at the same time! Not right. Easy, on the order form state BACKORDERED. Simple. That is what most companies do.
I had a plumber come to install my new home distiller. He did a great job and it works very well, but we were missing the directions to the pump and also some kind of connectors, possibly to plug the holes in the tank. Thankfully, we had two old distillers in our basement so he took the old ones from those and it worked slick.
FWS has been on the spot helping and delivering materials needed for my rainfall harvest system. In only one instance did part of the order not arrive. I notified FWS and they sent the missing material at no extra cost. I am a satisfied, repeat customer.
Never had this kind of experience ordering on line. Paid for item that was evidently no longer manufactured and not in stock. Took great pains to get refunded; all they wanted to do is substitute another item which i did not wish to have. Had to resort to elevating my claim to PayPal and Google Stores to get my monies refunded after two weeks of trying to make it happen at the lowest level. Very, very disappointed in my dealings with this business. Their tactics amounted to nothing more than bait and switch and if that did not work, they just keep your money and hope that you go away. This is nothing more than thievery at best.
It was time to replace the water filter. My assistant called (or wrote?)and ordered.
It arrived in a day or two. We put it in.It works! Everyone was helpful and courteous, which makes a big difference. I'll use your services again when needed.

Had no invoice or directions in box The last time I bought a filter I didn, t have to put it together. It would be nice if you shipped to a P O box. UPS will deliver to our post office because we don, t get mail at our physical address.
Price better than our local store. Was nice that i could go right to the source. This is where our local distributer gets and resells to us.
Thank you for selling direct, not every company will do that.

We received a hot water tank and it leaked at the time of install, called to return it and they made me deal with the manufacturer where they were very nice and replaced it (the manufacturer). But in the meantime they would not take it back; I have tried many times to return with no progress. Now I am stuck with something we can't use. I will never use them again and out over $100.00.
The filters fit and work well. Just needed to run the water for 5 minutes after installation to get all the carbon particles out of the water. I didn't know this but called Freshwatersystems.com and they were very helpful in explaining.
Saw what I needed on the website. Placed my order with no technical issue. The product was delivered quickly via US Mail. It was package neatly and arrived in new condition. Product was of good quality and was exactly as described.
Sent me the wrong pump, but could not turn around and ship me the replacement quickly enough, so refunded me expedited shipping fees.
I had ordered this with 1 day ship, but because of the intervening week-end I ended up getting the pump I wanted 5 days late.

I bought a several hundred dollar Rusco auto flush valve system here. I had it installed. It did not work at all. They said I could send it back, but I would have to pay for shipping. They eventually sent a replacement, which shows obvious prior use, and doesn't work right, flushing only a small amount of water, and leaving most sediment in the filter. They have not responded to recent emails. I would strongly recommend that no one buy from freshwatersystems.com. You are a fool if you do. And also avoid Rusco auto flush since it doesn't seem reliable at all.
In the past when I replaced the filter, there was a video on your web site how to do. The video is no longer there and I did not find a video for my particular filter on the internet. The tech I spoke with could not immediately figure out the problem and I then sent her a photo of the connection site. After several tries and calls, we finally figured this out. Also I had difficulty reaching Freshwater Systems -- "all customer service reps are busy."
One of the parts to the filter was damaged and would not thread. Since notifying Freshwater Systems I've been told for almost 30+ days that the part is on backorder.
1-17-2016 Update- I received the replacement on 12-20-2015, installed and the system is working correctly. I've also just been contacted by customer service to follow up which is a very welcome response. I've used this company in the past with no problems and I've updated this rating from 2 to 3 stars. Again this is only for this one experience as my previous experiences have been very good.
Easy on line purchasing. And easy one minute installation, less time than it took unpacking the filter. I only need to flip off the water flow control, unfasten the old, then fasten on the new cartridge. I love it, and gave been using this filter system for over 15 years.
Overall great product, fine service, great price. With the Multi-Pure filters came instructions as to how long to run the water once it is installed. When I asked I was told a gallon amount rather than an amount of time. I recall there was also a way of doing it so it doesn't drip/run on after it is turned off.
I bought a placement quick connect from CPC on the basis of color and suspected 1/2 inch threads. No part numbers! After receipt of part, I determine it is 3/8 inch threads and cannot return it ( they say that when you order it). Then I pay $19.00 for shipping and handling on UPS. Why don't they send it by USPS for a fraction of the cost? I reordered the 3/8 inch thread part for under $10.00 and paid an additional 19.00 in shipping and handling. Customer service? I ask you?
