Ordering was made effortless by the company's phone representatives and my exact order arrived many days ahead of its' scheduled arrival date. It would be a great world if all my internet transactions went so well.
I purchased two RO filters from them at a cost of $250 each. One was no good and they refused to replace it. "Our margins are to low" this is how they treat their customers.
A very pleasant and knowledgeable young woman (Sultana) responded to my inquiry by phone. She helped me identify the correct filter cartridge for my filter and explained what it did (and did not) do. She also helped me to choose a shower filter which I am very happy with. Wish I had done this sooner.
The bulb was wrapped in bubble wrap and the FedX driver stepped on the package 3 times, needless to say the bulb was broken. Now the person I am dealing with at Freshwater systems isn't in the office and they're telling me it could take 3 weeks to get a new one. I'll never use them again.
The Ordering was done for us by your people based on our previous order and the order was received very promptly. The service is outstanding and I guess you can't get much better than perfection. Thank you all who serviced our order we thank you from the bottom of our hearts Jim and Joanne Borges
I thought I might need to replace our system due to a leak. FreshwaterSystems connected me with the person needed to fix this issue, at another company, without buying a whole new system. They also offered to take back the filters that were already in transit if I decided to go with a new system.
The base opening of this filter is slightly too narrow to fit the bottom center support ring of a standard filter housing. Every other filter I've purchased over the last 7 years fits just fine... but not the the two purchased at FreshwaterSystems. Almost fits, but almost doesn't get it. Was a waste of money.
After purchasing a water filter this morning, the site asked me to take two separate surveys, and I have also been contacted by a google service and this "site jabber" service to review/ verify the freshwater systems site. It's a bit weird. I just wanted a water filter. I think someone at fresh water systems has gone a bit overboard on the user feedback services.
Bought the piece to replace beeping power supply for my UV max build for my after system only to find out this is a known issue and was sent a defective part with the same beeping. Never buy from them again. #badbusiness
We are a business that focuses on water treatment. Fresh Water has what we need most, and they have the stock to back it up. Their prices are very competitive, and give discounts for volume purchases. We highly recommend Fresh Water to everyone.
I could not get this locally anymore after yrs. Of buying it from this concern. No problem ordering it from this company, right in stock, and I am very grateful after spending most of the day locally. Thank you Fresh water systems **************111
I received wrong product item different from what was ordered twice in a tow. The shipping department work process appears to be very much in disarray. No quality program is in place. Customer service was very slow and was not sensitive to the needs of a customer. A totally unacceptable experience that i want to forget about. Will not recommend this suppler to anybody.
Put the system in 3 times. Always a leak. I hooked the system up without installing it in the sink. Found the leak. In the base of the faucet. E-mailed the company. It has been over a week. They said the warranty department had been notified. No word on the faucet at this time. System paid for but not using because of a l peak. I am going to contact credit card company about their warranty about faulty products purchased soon.no
Ordering the equipment was a snap and it was processed quickly. Getting the items in one shipment was fouled up. I received a call that the main part was left out and would be shipped separately. A week later, no shipment and after three calls to three different people, (two weeks) they finally sent an email telling me they would ship the product. And... they told me there would be no additional charge. That was nice of them? September 30 was my original order date. My new shipment estimation is October 28th.
I replaced my reverse osmosis tank for less than half the price I had previously paid elsewhere, and delivery was super fast. I had my system up and running in plenty of time for Christmas day, which was very important.
Sorry to leave a bad review but my item didn't ship (which was for a customer) and the day before estimated time of arrival i noticed i had never received a shipment confirmation email with a tracking number. I called and first guy said it didn't ship at all, then next guy said it was lost in shipping although they could not provide a tracking number. Big inconvenience and lack of professionalism due to the fact that we had a customer and a tech scheduled to replace this for a customer. Freshwater ended up shipping the item when bringing it to their attention but did not expedite the shipping for us to compensate for their original mishap. Not to pleased with the service.
The online store auto-corrects the customer's mailing address and will not allow the customer to override the auto-correct feature. I called customer service and the representative was not aware of the site's limitation and proceeded to tell me how wrong I was. No matter how many times I tried to explain that the function is not available to the customer I was cut off by the representative. So much for trying to help improve their online system from a customer's perspective. Maybe this rating will (?).
I ordered and payed for overnight shipping on some filters, and the next day the wrong filters arrived. Kind of a pain, but not the end of the world. I called and explained the situation, and they said they'd push it up to their manager, who'd take care of it the same day. Never happened. Called again the next day, and they said they needed to send me a form to fill out, and they'd send me the correct filter once they had received the paperwork back. So basically, I payed for an overnight product to arrive by tuesday morning, they screwed it all up, and I didn't end up receiving the correct product until Friday, no reimbursement on the overnight shipping, and I had to make a stop at Fedex to drop off their previous mistake.
Long and short of it, they're not selling anything proprietary, so when shopping online, just keep on shopping until you find a better supplier.
Out of stock on my usual filters. Ordered what was offered for a 10" big blue and received 2-10" and 2-20" when I ordered all 10". I am traveling by boat so timing was critical. Customer service person that straighted it out was very good.
Through some shipping error I received entirely the wrong item from Freshwater Systems. I contacted them, and they immediately shipped me the correct item -- in an entirely different country. No ifs or buts, and no shipping charges. These people give perfect service, and they get both thumbs up from me.
My current order has been delayed for almost 30 days. When I ordered, it was showing as available, but then when it didn't come, I was told it was out of stock. This was the second time I've ordered from this company. The first time, I ordered in May and received in September. Unacceptable. Just silence and darkness, no communication.
Be sure to order the correct items from here. If you make a mistake you are responsible for return shipping and a variable restocking fee of 15+%. Restocking fee is removed if you order something of equal or greater value, but then you need to pay shipping for the new item as well. If you made a mistake and need a lesser priced item, you still pay restocking and shipping both ways.
Additionally this can only be handled online, not over the phone.
Phone took about 15 minutes to get a customer service rep.
There is a strong push toward Omnipure filters.
After soaking for 15 min. I installed the filter as instructed. It had a little leakage. Removed the filter and examined it. It is about 1/64 in smaller than the original. Has more slop around the filter holder. Reinstalled the filter and it has stopped leaking thru the weep hole at the rear of the holder. They gave good service. Shipped by Fedex to my town and delivered the Post Office.
Simple order, 3 pieces of one item and 3 pieces of another item (6 total items). Only 3 received. Called and requested remainder 3 missing items. They shipped me the "missing 3 items" but I receive one part only. Called again and requested the addition missing parts. They shipped 3 o-rings (WRONG PART AGAIN).
Take your business elsewhere unless you have a lot of patience and time to wait for them to figure it out. Definitely not a good experience. Slow shipping on the missing parts too.
Great price with all the correct filters needed, and the shipping rate
Was reasonable also (compared to other sites). Somehow the package
Got misplaced somewhere along the shipping route (in Minnesota) and
It took four days longer for the package to find it's way to me, but that
Was not the fault of FreshwaterSystems. Will use their services again
In the future.
One bottle arrived to me with a cracked handle. I simply chatted with a customer service rep online to request a replacement. I only had to email them pictures of the broken bottle, the shipping box, and address label. They sent out a replacement. I didn't have to deal with the hassle of returning the broken one. I will order from them again.
I love the vast array of parts in stock but i hate the shipping i dont always need 100 dollars worth of parts to qualify for free shipping! Need a better economy shipping options on small orders 10 dollars is too much for 15 dollars in parts if they had cheaper shipping options for small orders they would be the best supplier online!
Founded in 1989, Fresh Water Systems (FWS) has grown to be one of the largest independent providers of residential and commercial systems, parts, and accessories related to water purification. The company counts among its long-time customers over half a dozen of the nation's biggest pharmacy chains. FWS maintains one of the largest on-site inventory warehouses in the industry at its headquarters in Greenville, South Carolina. This ensures a wide selection of replacement parts, highly competitive pricing, and fast delivery times. We strive for total customer satisfaction with our comprehensive and easy-to-use website and call-in center staffed by dedicated and highly-trained professionals.
Fresh Water Systems began its life as a small water cooler sales and service business in Southern California. The company grew quickly and soon expanded into filtration. In the late 1990s, FWS was approached by a national pharmaceutical chain about supplying them with treatment and dispensing systems needed to provide the USP-Grade water required for formulating certain medications. (In-house systems eliminate the need for expensive and short shelf-life bottled water.) This led to FWS becoming the exclusive distributor of the PharMate® dispensing system, which the company continues to manufacture and service for over 15,000 pharmacies nationwide.
In 2004, the company relocated its headquarters to Greenville in the verdant Appalachian foothills of South Carolina. Today Fresh Water Systems is one of the largest direct providers of all things related to water treatment and purification, supplying both homeowners and internationally recognized corporations with everything from hard-to-find small filter parts to large-scale purification systems. In 2014, the company moved into a new building with greatly expanded warehouse, call center and office space from where it serves an ever-increasing number of customers throughout the US and internationally.
FWS recognizes that its business centers around water, one of the Earth's most valuable resources, and takes very seriously its commitment to improving its impact on the environment. The company actively promotes and seeks out products that reduce pollution and support global sustainability. In its own operations, it has instituted comprehensive recycling programs throughout its everyday operations.
