Ordering was made effortless by the company's phone representatives and my exact order arrived many days ahead of its' scheduled arrival date. It would be a great world if all my internet transactions went so well.
I purchased two RO filters from them at a cost of $250 each. One was no good and they refused to replace it. "Our margins are to low" this is how they treat their customers.
Called asked a few questions about the filters I needed, then ordered them. They arrived I installed them no problems.
I was a little concerned not buying culligan parts but they fitted perfectly. Hope they do the trick.

It took two weeks just to find out my item was not in stock & wouldn't be anytime soon. Other than Ryan, no one seemed helpful. I let them know when I ordered the item that our water was not drinkable & had to be boiled due to the coliform bacteria. I am so very disappointed in your company. I asked for a manager to call me last Friday. Still nothing. You suck!
I dealt primarily with Tanesha in Tech. Support. She has an extensive knowledge of RO systems and trouble shooting problems with such. I could not be more satisfied with the service level provided.
I am having problems with order # MO******* which has not delivered as of yet even though the tracking indicates that it arrived on Sat. I have contacted my local post office for resolution.
Got my order as promised but because of a back order I had to wait several months to get the product. I did get the product as soon as they received it and I am very happy with the it. I think this is a good company... they didn't write off my order and persevered in getting the item to me.
Excellent delivery time, excellent prices compared to retail. The genuine GE product filters out more than the "universal" product and I don't want to compromise the quality. Would recommend ordering from this company.
This is the first time that I ordered something from Freshwater Systems. The order arrived as expected and the filters were exactly as described in the product information. The filters were a little difficult to install on my system but that was a system design flaw, not a problem with Freshwater Systems. I will continue to order filters from Freshwater Systems.
It was a little difficult in the beginning order placed and then I guess it was a back order. Finally received all is good till I see hopefully that it works
Thank you for your assistance, time and patience
I needed a 90 decree 5/16 elbow to prevent to much strain on a quick connect
Joint on the water valve., I got exactly what I ordered and made a successful repair.
Would recommend freshwater systems to my friends
Took over week to process my order, then to find out, the item I ordered was not in stock. I was not ever notified until I called three different times. I got a comparable replacement for the same money, then delivery was ok. Installation was easy, direct replacement for existing unit.
Today I ordered some parts from Freshwater systems,.
I didn't even have an account and was treated by Cendy with Kindness,. Very Knowledgeable & Great Prices!
Even the 2nd day Air Shipping price was great!
I Would Definitely Recommend this Company to other service technicians.
I ordered nine filter cartridges for my whole house water filtration device. They came within two days of ordering; I was very surprised at how quickly they arrived. A very good filter at a reasonable price.
I purchased a RO-132 storage tank but didn't open the box because I discovered that my problem was a defective new filter. I wanted to return the unopened box for a refund but was told that there would be a 15% restocking fee plus I would pay for the return shipping. It would have cost me about $24 and I would have nothing to show for it. Bad policy in today's age when most merchants would refund the payment price.
I was able to purchase this product at a very discounted rate on Amazon for my parents (as I did with my own refrigerator water filter) and it works well. The water tastes substantially better after the new filter was placed and we're all happy with this purchase and with the money savings.!
I had asked some very technical questions regarding the water maker membrane that I was purchasing and the agent that I was talking to did not know the answer. This is not surprising considering the level of detail that I requested, Instead of saying "I don't know", or some other reason why the requested information could not be given, the agent contacted the manufacturer of the membrane and supplied me with very detailed pdfs along with a direct line to a technical support person at the manufacturer if I had additional detailed technical questions. Shipping was painless, it arrived quickly and there were no problems. Totally recommend Freshwater systems and will purchase there again when I upgrade my RO system in the near future.
At time of order, was told all three items in stock. After four days and no shipping email, made another call was told items were in stock and "it" was in shipping dept. another call later and I was told one item was back ordered so entire shipment had been held. After canceling the "out of stock" item I finally received fed ex email tracking info on the two items. That site showed that the package was in Georgia with no movement for the next five days. Finally received order almost two weeks and three calls after initial order.
I specifically ordered a 120v u. V. filter. It was clearly on my order. They sent me a 220v by mistake. It was a European style plug. I had to spend time emailing, Fedex-ing the 220v part BACK, before they would send the PROPER, originally ordered part to me. Hence the EXTRA delay. I was installing this for a customer of mine. They ALSO were not happy with the delay. I will not use FreshwaterSystems again. There are many other choices for hardware out there. But, good service is notably in short supply.
Remember the old business axiom: Make one person unhappy--then multiply that by 10.
I ordered a part and they sent the wrong one, not even the same type of thing but I get that happens. I called customer service on April 18 and they promised to send out the correct part that day. Nothing. I called April 26 and they had no record that I had called previously. They promised to send it out and confirm the shipping with an email. Nothing. I would order from another supplier but then I might end up with two.
I ordered 2 Everpure ADC filters, one for me, the other for a friend. Freshwater systems had the best price of any vendors on the internet. Order was easy, however, their order system had difficulty taking my home billing address and a different shipping address for my credit card payment. I called them and the agent/rep took care of it.
People don't like to be backordered for months on end. Either stock the items or let customer know inventory when he gets ready to purchase. Don't make him pay up front and expect them to wait a month and a half for the item.
I've used FreshwaterSystems RO products for several years. About three years ago I bought a four stage system for my mom, installed it, and she has used it for about three years. All was well until dirt got into the water system while workers were hooking up the water to a neighboring house. The dirt got into her RO system. The storage tank was then full of mud, and all the filters (including the membrane) needed to be changed. Kenneth concurred with everything I suspected. He got me better than expected pricing on a storage tank and a replacement filters kit. I reconnected all parts, sanitized the lines, flushed the system, installed the filters, refilled the system including the storage tank, waited three hours, and drained everything before letting it refill. Mom is so happy to have her RO back! Oh, by the way, mom is just over 90.
We ordered the wrong bulb and returned it. While we were waiting for confirmation that they received the return, we ordered a new bulb. It was not at the same time so we were told we had to pay the restocking fee. When ordering the second bulb, we only had our units model number. The fresh water customer service rep looked up the bulb for our unit. He assured us this was the appropriate bulb for our system. The bulb came and again was incorrect. We ordered yet another bulb and were charged the restocking fee again. Not to mention this entire process took them forever and required many phone calls. Do not use this company.
Went to a big box store to replace my GE MWF refrigerator filter. Was shocked at the cost increase. So I decided to shop around, but was trying to avoid the cheaper Chinese made replacements, a little worried about quality. I was pleased to find this company Offered original GE filters (albeit GE international) for the old price I was used to. I bought one of those, and one of their genetics to try out. They very quickly filled my order, and the GE branded filter is now in my fridge. Myvexp e Prince was great. I will definitely reorder from them.
The flex pipe between my potable water intake and my whole house water filter began to leak/drip. I ordered the new S/S flex pipe and it was delivered without a problem except that my system was not the expected 1-1/4" standard but a larger 1-1/2" connection. I had to send the part back and order the larger 1-1/2" S/S flex pipe. This all was done smoothly and without any issues.
I ordered a set of RO replacement filters. One of them was the wrong kind -- the fittings didn't match up. Both the RO system's manufacturer and freshwatersystems.com's website image showed the correct filter. Their customer service solution is for me to buy (from them) adapters to make the filter work. Blame the customer for your screw-ups!
DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS OUTFIT! I made the mistake of following a link to their site from Amazon.com.
I ordered 40 water couplers totaling over $1200 that I needed within the week. The website didn't give any indication that 30 would be on back order or how long I would have to wait to receive the back ordered parts. To make it worse, when I only received 10, there was no indication on the packing slip or invoice of back ordered items, no email notifying me. I had to call them up and ask where the remaining couplers were before they told me they didn't have anymore in stock. I am still waiting to receive the remainder of my order, 3 weeks since my initial order date
Founded in 1989, Fresh Water Systems (FWS) has grown to be one of the largest independent providers of residential and commercial systems, parts, and accessories related to water purification. The company counts among its long-time customers over half a dozen of the nation's biggest pharmacy chains. FWS maintains one of the largest on-site inventory warehouses in the industry at its headquarters in Greenville, South Carolina. This ensures a wide selection of replacement parts, highly competitive pricing, and fast delivery times. We strive for total customer satisfaction with our comprehensive and easy-to-use website and call-in center staffed by dedicated and highly-trained professionals.
Fresh Water Systems began its life as a small water cooler sales and service business in Southern California. The company grew quickly and soon expanded into filtration. In the late 1990s, FWS was approached by a national pharmaceutical chain about supplying them with treatment and dispensing systems needed to provide the USP-Grade water required for formulating certain medications. (In-house systems eliminate the need for expensive and short shelf-life bottled water.) This led to FWS becoming the exclusive distributor of the PharMate® dispensing system, which the company continues to manufacture and service for over 15,000 pharmacies nationwide.
In 2004, the company relocated its headquarters to Greenville in the verdant Appalachian foothills of South Carolina. Today Fresh Water Systems is one of the largest direct providers of all things related to water treatment and purification, supplying both homeowners and internationally recognized corporations with everything from hard-to-find small filter parts to large-scale purification systems. In 2014, the company moved into a new building with greatly expanded warehouse, call center and office space from where it serves an ever-increasing number of customers throughout the US and internationally.
FWS recognizes that its business centers around water, one of the Earth's most valuable resources, and takes very seriously its commitment to improving its impact on the environment. The company actively promotes and seeks out products that reduce pollution and support global sustainability. In its own operations, it has instituted comprehensive recycling programs throughout its everyday operations.
