“Gap seems to be the best”

Yo! Gap seems to be the best retail company for those seeking for some nice quality clothes for a kinda low price. I personally was aware of this brand even before it captured the mass market. I thought that it would be a breakthrough, hence nowadays we can behold this picture. Many people wear attire from this brand and it seems to me this tendency will last for several decades more.

“Gap stealing from customers”

I ordered 7 items. Received only 6. They are making it impossible to either send me money back, or send the item itself. They are keeping my money and saying I have to solve it with my bank. They said they are denying my claim because I only have ever ordered twice with them. My order history is not robust enough for them to accept my claim. Shameful business practice in other words called STEALING FROM CUSTOMERS.

To be clear, I like their kids clothing line, but their online services are just awful.
As much as I love shopping in stores for Gap kids clothes, their online shopping is a disaster. I placed an order on 11/29, as of today my order still shows pending shipment status. I sent a follow up email to customer service on 12/6, no answer. The odds of receiving the items in time for kiddo Bday on 12/15 are pretty slim. Sad. Their return service is equally slow.

I am trying to find them an excuse but it's really hard considering how well the competition is doing. There is a spike in purchases between Black Friday and Christmas, nothing new here, so why is it so hard for GAP to anticipate? Last year was the same mess. Next year, I will just pass on GAP.

Tip for consumers:
my advice if you have to meet a certain deadline is to go straight to the store if you can. If not, you need to order way ahead of time.

I will never purchase anything from this store again. I purchased online and by the time I received it tried it on and figured out how to do a return. It was too late to return so now I'm stuck with clothing that has zero value to me and I can't even get a refund. When I tried to call their customer service I got stuck with someone who didn't even speak English and hung up on me. Horrible experience.

Tip for consumers:
She was very rude and unprofessional. Hung up on me in the middle of our conversation. Will NEVER do business with GAP again.

They have really stepped up the style factor and I love the sale prices especially. Online often has exclusive products that do not come into the stores. So exclusive limited editions are only online- drawing you to the online site.

I would give them a 0 star if possible. I ordered 18 items on 11/26/20.9 of them were lost in transit and showed no shipping movement since 12/2. Called Gap last week and was told I had to wait until 12/21 before they could do anything. Called today as items still had not arrived and they said they could issue me a return that would show up in 3-5 days and repurchase everything at my expense today. When speaking with a supervisor was told their company never reships items at no cost to customer. That no matter if items were damaged, missing, wrong item shipped, etc, that customer is always asked to repurchase the item(s) again as they wait for their return. Epitome of bad customer service and I will never purchase from this company again. Beware of this company.

I have to write this coz i am amazed on quality. I wore my old gap puffer this winter and then decided to do simple laundry ( tag says dry cleaning only but i looked at this tag only after i washed it lol) how ever... its dried and as new, nothing destroyed< down back to its original condition... thanks God! And thanks GAP

A lot of good options, and great sales. I have the card and they are always offering extra discounts so I would recommend waiting if you see something you like. Still good quality materials for the most part, can buy a good cotton shirt and jeans.

I purchased a 2 piece swimsuit from the GAP. When it arrived, one of the sizes was incorrect (mistakes happen). I called customer service (the rep was nice, professional and helpful) and they overnighted the correct size to me at no charge and didn't charge me for the extra piece. I simply had to return the incorrect piece within 30 days (very reasonable).

Unfortunately the suit didn't look great on me so I'm returning all the pieces, but will definitely shop there again because they have been so nice and everything has been so easy!

Never a problem returning, shipping is also free to return, great phone system, always able to speak to a person whose first language is English, great clothes I get compliments on, fantastic sales that occur often!

Stretchy women's long sleeave plain t shirts now have balls on them. Lower quality. Looks cheap. The "favorite" t shirts were my favorite and now mine are all worn out 20 years later! Bring them back!

I have ordered a baby dress from this site and I satisfied the quality of the product it is worth the money that you pay. But the service provides free shipping only for the purchase that is more than $50, if they provide free shipping for each order then it is a good idea. Anyway I like to shop from this online shopping site. I am enjoying!

I've always had a pleasant experience while shopping Gap's online store. The site is easy to navigate and easy make purchases or reserve something in store. I've added my Gap card to my profile to make checkout very quick and simple. Adding coupon codes and Gap cash is easy. Returns are easy too.
I'm never disappointed and a fan of Gap for life.

Gap is such a great store. Their clothes are very affordable and nice quality. I particularly like the exercise pants I got from them. The site is convenient and has sale offers you can't find in the store.

I returned an online purchase for a refund and it was received by Gap on the 24 November, 10 days later I have not even received an acknowledgement from Gap let alone a refund. Emails are not answered until it has been sent 2 or three times, appalling customer service which if you check out other reviews is a common complaint, I will never shop with Gap again!

The website is very easy to use, you can browse clothes by narrowed down categories to help you find exactly what you are looking for. You can check out the sales and discounts on home page. Most of the time there is a discount on something.

Worst shopping experience with GAP! It was my first time shopping here and I was so disappointed. I always thought buying from a brand name company would be durable and lasting but I was wrong. Bought a pair of pants and the quality was so poor. Will never shop from here again.

So frustrating. It's the week before Christmas and Gap sends me an email showing my package shipped on 12/13/17 but yet delivered to another state on 11/10/17. When I called, they apologized blaming it on UPS, but basically said they were sure it'd get here, to trust them and that because in their system it hadn't missed the guaranteed delivery date of 12/22, it wasn't something they could replace or reship without me paying for it a second time and paying expedited shipping. Then they told me it was with the USPS but there is no tracking information available at all on their website and their website says they've received nothing. They blamed that on the system just being behind. Are you kidding me? Customer service fail. Bigtime.

First and last time buying gap jeans. Theyre expensive so you'd assume theyre of good quality. Then why does every lint/stray hair in a 5 mile vicinity end up on my pants? Good jeans shouldnt have static issues. Ive paid less for jeans that were better than this

Cute and comfy fit. GAP's PJs always a great purchase. They fit well. The material (100% cotton) is exactly what we were looking for, as we're always striving to purchase clothing that is made of natural fibers. The pajamas are soft, and our child seems very comfortable in them. Seller was prompt with shipping. Overall, this was a highly satisfactory purchase, and one I would without hesitation make again.

This was actually the first purchase I'd ever made at the gap. I purchased the cozy slouchy sweater in green and I absolutely love it! I was a bit hesitant because their clothing typically runs smaller but this is one of the most comfortable sweaters I've ever purchased. Not to mention the color and soft material is wonderful. The online sales are especially great, clothing goes down to $8 and the material is just wonderful.

Are you aware that this is the MOST obese country in the world? Are you also aware that your clothing only has sizes that fit 13yr old girls and male models (NOT men)!! Come on, doesn't Gap public relations even review demographics? How does your store stay open when you sell clothes for "little people" in a country where the average weight, men AND women, is 200lbs and up? Close up shop and move to China! Plenty of little people there.

When I received the box there was only 2 items out of the 12 that I ordered As well as two pj onesies from Old Navy which obviously I didn't order from Gap. I called multiple times and finally after the 4th time they said they can't refund my money until I returned those two items. I tried to return them in person and they wouldn't return them and give me a refund for the items I never received. This is absolutely horrible.

Never shop here!

I returned the item which was worth $119.00, and they said they would send me a check. It has been 2 months, and I have never received the check. I called, and they put me on hold for half an hour. I was told that I would receive it in 10 days. I have been waiting for 1 month and never received it.

I went to the store and fell in love with a bunch of dresses, but realized the prices were much better online. So I ordered online. Turns out I didn't like any of the dresses. Gap is the only store you can't return your online orders in the store. So I mailed them back, it's been 3 weeks and the packages have yet to make it to their facility. If returning in store I would have my refund back in a few days, not a few weeks. Never buying from the gap again. Hey Gap, it's not 1996 anymore, get with the times!

Miserable experience!
I ordered 5 pairs of underwear at the the Gap store, and a week later I get a notice that the pack of three are on back order? Then I received 1pair and the last pair have been stuck somewhere for weeks? I out of 5... what a joke!
