I received delivery for an order that I had cancelled. Customer service was really bad and no one reached out to me. I had to pay to return the goods, which I have not done yet because the plants would have died.
I have not received a refund for the order that I have cancelled.

Stay well away from this bunch of cowboys. I ordered 3 plants on April 2nd, 2 arrived after a couple of weeks with the other to follow. After a number of emails with pathetic replies, I am still waiting and it's September 22nd.

The plant I have received has nothing to do with the plant they advertised. The picture is fake and belongs to a different species of lilac.
I have spoke to one of their advisors, Tia,
and she was adamant that what I have received is the same as the picture on their website. She was anything but helpful and requested many many pictures like a child that doesn't take ownership of a mistake!
It's not the first time I'm having issues with this company and same as now they were not helpful. I can understant they have made a mistake, probably, but so many mistakes with no one taking responsibility for them it's actually their bussiness style!
They post very misleading/fake pictures!
I will attach pictures of what I ordered and what I received so it can clearly be seen that there are 2 different plants. Even after I have sent them the pics with the obvious difference ( I was asked to take many pictures from different angles) they still said that it's the same plant.

The company sent my order late, it was not what I ordered and then they didn't respond to any of the communication I sent to them. The fact they do not respond and remove all commenting from Instagram and Facebook says it all.

I ordered a number of plants and this company says they were dispatched, even sent me a tracking number but hermes have no record of it, i have sent messages on facebook - no response. I have sent e-mails no response, i have sent messages through their contact us page again no response, these are scammers!

Waited over 10 weeks for an order which should have been disputed in 10 days.
Multiple requests for order cancellation and a refund ignored.
Plants eventually arrived. DEAD!
No response to any correspondence. Only way to contact company is via a "ticket" which is then also ignored.
Paid £40 for a bi-coloured Buddleja, When it arrived it's a standard purple Buddleja with very small and branches broken. Worth probably no more than £10.
Now trying to reclaim my money via my bank, and have reported to watch dog.
DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY!

I purchased a standard hisbiscus tree for a gift. It arrived with no information as to what it was or where it had come from (the receiver thought it has come from YODEL) there was no gift card luckily the recipient guessed it maybe a gift from me, also no information as to what is should be, as what arrived was a stick with very little root growth. Would not use again and would not recommend the company to anyone else. I only wish I had looked at the reviews before I purchased. The recipient does not have a phone camera so no pics.

All plants were a fraction of the height they were meant to be but correct size pot. The plants I ordered were a fifth of the size and all this year's growth cut and removed so they could cram all the plants in the small box sent. Damaged growth and dry due to being sent a couple of days before a bank holiday. Wants me to pay postage to return. Check out on companies house Mr Christopher Bonnett. What a scam

I ordered an expensive plant from this company described as a large specimen in a 9ltr pot.
The plant I got is unhealthy tiny and had just been put in a 9ltr pot, a very small root ball.

Ordered a rose on 22nd April and it has never arrived. Have sent numerous emails and they don't even have the courtesy to reply.
Basically they are stealing people's money and getting away with it. They need to be stopped.

Ordered 10 April and as the delivery wasn't made after 15 working days I demanded refund. This nonsense support system doesn't work and had been ignored constantly. Then after nearly 2 months gone by( 26 May), bear in mind all the garden centres are open, I received almost dead weed-looking plants delivered. Absolutely disgusting and I laughed with a complete disbelief actually. I requested so many times refund then they rejected my requests and sent me squashed awful packaged dead plants! This company is taking advantage of lockdown and awkwardness of sending items back. I have seen numerous reviews waiting for refund too.
Don't trust Trustpilot reviews as the company can filter and showing only good ones. Please DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! Scammer!

The worst online shopping experience I've ever had! Goods arrived in appalling condition. Gardening Express has NO CONTACT TELEPHONE NUMBER (a big red flag I missed!) and enquiries/complaints need to be made on their website through their ticket' system - which in my case just meant that my complaint ticket' was read, ignored and stamped RESOLVED. My email got a response that can only be described as sarcastic and passive aggressive (that's you Sam!). No refunds. No returns. No clue.

I placed my order at the end of May, they took my payment immediately. I am STILL waiting for my order. They cannot be contacted. They are a disgrace, i think they have taken advantage of people at this lockdown period, greed has made them accept orders they cannot fill in a timely manner.

Plant advertised as Large 6-7ft Specimen Climber Star Jasmine. On delivery, actual height measured from underside of pot to extreme tip was 4ft 4inches. Very disappointed customer. Plant seems to be in good condition though.

Bought a 6ft tree, turned up less then 4ft tall, top had been cut off to wedge in a box too small, tree had two buds on the whole thing, horrible pruning cuts over the thing doubtful it will survive. Bought a bonsai from them that arrived bone dry and died within 48 hours. They continue to ignore my request for a refund and expect me to pay for return postage on goods not as described. Will be filling a chargeback with my credit card company at the end of the week.
Do not bother with this company, second time I have been burnt by their late deliveries and terrible customer service.

Recieved less than half my order today 21st may) after ordering 130 pounds worth of plants on the 10th April. Have no idea when the rest will come but I will be refusing them like I sud the shocking plants today! I tried to cancel order raised tickets and emails never had a response. Ordered palm trees, 'handsome heuchera collection', cordelinas and fatsia along with some bulbs. Palm trees are healthy but much much smaller than expected. Same for cordelinas. Bulbs are OK, can't tell the germination ratio just yet. But 'handsome' heucheras is just a joke. They have no chance to survive even with intensive therapy care! Just so tiny and scraggy plants! Fatsia supposed to be large bushy plant. But it's a bare trunk with couple leaves at the bottom and at the top, eaten away by insects!
Makes me think they are buying dying stock from gardening centres for pennies and sell them as good plants. Just an opinion, but think of it.
All in one - Rip off.

On 12th April I placed an order with garden express totalling almost £60. I have yet to recieve it despite sending several emails. I had one response suggesting that I cancel the order so long as it's status wasn't pending. I tried but of course it was pending. Terrible customer service. Will never use again.

Ordered a large emerald lace acer from this company cost£75 i received a 500mm twig instead of 1.2m plant in a 5ltr pot. Company asked for photo which we supplied. They now ignoring all contact. Would give minus 5 stars if poss. Please stay away from this company. Order number #*******

Found plants in crushed box, all taped back up on doorstep. On opening at least 3 of the plants looked like they had been in transit for a long while in plastic bags - humid & drooping. Am hoping that the others may survive with a bit of nurture. Ordered originally as thought it would save time & money, but more like what a waste of time! Don't expect any compensation or remorse from the company so will only go with DON'T BUY FROM THIS COMPANY

What can I say. This outfit should be stopped from trading. Ordered April 11th 2020 and received the order June 3rd. One item I have to say was pretty decent. The trees although alive bore no resemblence to the website photos. The Daphne was just alive. I had already reported them to Trading Standards and initiated a charge back from my credit card provider. Chris the Conman do the right thing stop trading and ripping people off as your disgraceful, unscrupulous behaviour has gone on for far too long. I have contacted Rogue Traders to try and put a stop to this company.

Purchased 3 lots of 2 cyprus trees 1.6-1.8m tall. Upon arrival the largest tree is 1.4m and the smallest at just a metre. Tried to get in touch with gardening express but there is no contact number so followed the support ticket route, 4 days in still nothing, again sent another ticket. I paid £269.85 for these and based on the sizes i recieved these trees can be purchased in B&Q for £29 each. I was quite happy to get this resolved but really upset that Gardening express couldnt be bothered to come back to me to resolve.

The plants pictured, do not relate to the plants you buy. I bought a pack of 5 Kniphofia, Fire Rocket Mixture. They arrived in one very manky polythene bag, smelling like something had died! I've planted them all up, one so far looks healthy, but I have no idea what colour, as they were not individually labelled or separated. I think I got 2 plants that might develop and a handful of roots that were left, I shared equally between 2 further pots, but I don't think they'll come to anything. I believe this is done to save costs. You cannot contact ANYONE, they DO NOT reply to emails, the DO NOT have a number on their website to contact direct, therefore I feel they've taken money under false pretences. I am going to look into this further as I would like a refund.
Tip for consumers:
Plants were very poorly packed and did not arrive in the condition I expected them to be. Its impossible to contact the company, you get no replies from their emails, therefore I feel they've taken money illegally, the goods are not upto expectations. Very, very disappointed and naturally upset. Had I returned the plants, I don't think I would still have got a refund from the condition they would have arrived back in.
