Ordered 9 April and am still waiting, just get an automated response to the ticket enquiry system, which tells you to look at the FAQ's which says delivery could be up to 2-4 weeks. Plainly that time has come and gone! Think they need to change their name! Not impressed especially as the garden centres are now opening up

I received my two Fairy Blush Magnolia trees to find them in a very sickly condition with hard dark brown buds that should not have been there being August! I carefully re potted them but they appear to be dying non the less. Leaves are now covered in dark spots in brown areas, have holes and tears or turning yellow. Many leaves have dropped off. After research I believe them to have a fungal disease, leaf blight and frost damaged buds that have not flowered hence them still being there. Wish I'd read the reviews before ordering. An expensive learning curve!,

Absolute RIP OFF - never again. Plants are advertised in a way that is different to any other plant company and that is not made clear.
So I paid £30 quid for one that could have had for £10 elsewhere.
After sales takes about 6 weeks to get back to you and even then they have not read the email anyway - they just send back standard copy paste rubbish.
You can return the dodgy plants but at your expense.
Never again. Be warned...

Terrible company! Ordered £179 pound worth of goods only to receive automated replies when i tried to contact them. 2 weeks went by and still nothing despite trying to call, email and social media the company. Since raising concerns on social media over 20 people have contacted me expressing they too have suffered similar in not receiving goods.In the end i had to report this to my bank who are in the process of investigating them. Why is this company still trading with so many upset customers?

Absolutely terrible customer service and even worse quality of product! We received two topiary trees for a Christmas gift from our parents. Within a few months after daily watering they were both dead. I tried for 2 months to contact the company after several failed attempts finally got hold of them to be told there was nothing they would be prepared to do. Not even interested! Don't purchase from this company!

Absolutely nothing express about this company! Have waited 4 weeks for my order to arrive Complained after 2 weeks that my package label arrived without a parcel attached! A new order was dispatched only to arrive a further two weeks later with the plants I had ordered in either dead or completely dried out state unlikely to survive. Customer services couldn't have given a toss.
Absolutely disgusting service and I will be sure to pass my experience on to any one I know who orders online.

Waiting 16 days for my delivery. Company does not reply to e mails and has No phone number for you to contact them. This company needs to improve drastically or else shut down.It should not treat paying customers so badly. Money taken out of my account straight after the purchase, but after 16 days of waiting and e mails not answered still not had my order. Disgusting service. Given one star but if it had been possible I would have given none. Save your time and money and buy at your local garden centre where you can see what you are getting and take it straight home. This company needs looking into by trading standards ASAP.

Don't spend your money on them! They are still advertising and taking your money and after that there is no information what so ever! Poor people who paid a lot for their order and still waiting for delivery. I hope somebody will finally do something about this scam company! They should be ashamed that using people trust in this difficult time! I am disgusted with Gardening Express!

They sent our order of 6 plants. Only 4 arrived, and those were in very poor shape. They sent the other two and they didn't arrive at all (Again). Then they sent an email saying that it would be best to cancel the order. Absolutely no questions or input from the customer. They just cancelled it, By this time I have a hole in the garden waiting for my plants. And no way of filling it...
Then to add insult to injury they sent me a customer service email asking me to rate them and supply feedback.
A BUNCH OF MUPPETS> Not even with someone elses barge pole.

The most horrible, ridiculously bad experience. I am one of many out of pocket with no plants. Despite a website that bears all the indicators of reliability, if you dig deeper you see that there is literally no method to contact this company other than an online ticket' system to which I have gotten no replies other than computer-generated responses. Just read comments on FB, Instagram, Twitter, all the review aired like this one. You've been warned. Avoid.

I recently bought what was advertised as a selection of 10 mixed succulents with quote "Different foliage textures and colours", however disappointing when they arrived they were 10 of the same plant ( 2 of which were rotting.)
Customer services basically dismissed any responsibility with regard to misleading advertising and basically directed me to small print. I will be contacting Trading Standard.
Shame because previous orders have been. Good. Will not be using there services again. I have lots of friends in the gardening world and will be sharing my experience.

Ordered two Californian lilac standards which arrived as barely more than twigs. At a cost of £66 including postage I as not happy so immediately contacted customer services via their chat which is their only way...clever not to have a phone line as they can ignore you and there's nothing you can do about it. I would never use again.

We bought a pair of Salix trees which arrived weeks overdue but looked good. So, we ordered again. This time one plant was already dying and losing its leaves, while a pair of plants intended as a gift looked utterly dissimilar (like different species). On 15 Sept, I sent photos showing the sad state of the first (just dead twigs) and the lack of conformity in the pair. Despite follow-ups on 25/9,26/10 and (to the MD) on 12/11, still no reply! Avoid this company!

Whilst I understand that this is a busy time of year for garden centres, that doesn't mean you ignore the phone and customers' emails for days on end. Communication has been the biggest headache with Gardening Express. PS Where's the rest of my order?

I received my plants and quite frankly I am disgusted! These plants were described as " bushy plants up to 60cms tall, but what I actually received are barely twigs! It is the time of year when these plants should be at their best as I have two others I bought elsewhere which are beautiful plants much larger and cheaper by £2.50 each than theirs.
When I complained ( which can only be done by an online chat) they are totally unhelpful, they told me they had escalated my complaint and I would hear back within 48 hours, it is now 4 days gone and I have still not heard anything.
You should avoid this company like the plague

I was sorry to see so many poor reviews on your website, but my experience has been quite the opposite. One of my small bay trees arrived in poor condition, but when I sent photos and reported it, it was replaced immediately. Thank you for an excellent recovery.

I got some root roses and a clematis, the latter was fine but all but one rose failed. Emailed, no reply.
Because I am stupid, I decided to give them another go and ordered a wisteria trained on a trellis. A wisteria came but not trained and nowhere near worth the price paid. Apparently my complaint has been escalated to management - who have ignored it.
They are one step away from fraudsters. Avoid.

A company with NO customer service number - have now read lots of poor reviews. Original order 16 May, chased a month later a part of the order arrived. Parcel 2 of 2 nowhere to be seen. Raised a ticket. Dead plants arrived a week later. I have asked a refund, raised multiple tickets which they close without response. I have fulfilled this order now with a NORMAL company ie one that sends out the goods and has a telephone number. This order is now stuck in Yodel as we have been away and their response - contact Gardening Express. If anyone knows how to get hold of a company with no phone number, a completely inept customer service please let me know.

I ordered a cherry almond tree in January which arrived looking stunted and sick. Despite the utmost care, it failed to thrive and by mid March, I pronounced it dead and contacted the seller. Now, 6 weeks later, they have claimed to have 'lost' five separate emails from me, all with photographs and refuse to speak to me on the phone. Do not touch these crooks with a bargepole! My trading standards department are now investigating my complaint.

First time ordering from this company, took forever to come, when it did arrive it was a twig with brown fried leaves, 1 green leaf, is a clematis which has been cut so won't grow this season and looks like it will die anyway. Is not as described and reading the reviews most customers are not happy and they appear not bothered if customers are unhappy. This company needs reporting to Trading Standards.

Absolutely rubbish. Plants were sent in a broken cardboard box, multiple layers stacked inside. Pretty obvious to find out that the bottom ones were dead after being squashed by other pots. Actually, half of the plants didn't survive. Not only that, but it also missed out on 2 pots and never arrived. I tried to get a refund, at least for the ones that didn't arrive, but the only automatic response from customer service. I tried to contact them again but this time, they didn't even reply and closed the ticket. I know it's hard to do business during this unprecedented situation, but at least some honesty. They lack service, love for plants, and most of all, attitude to do business. I regret buying plants from them.

I ordered my plants almost 4 weeks ago and am still waiting for a delivery date. I tried to cancel my order early on in the process, due to delays, but this was denied by their system. There is no customer service and so you simply have to sit and wait. I really want to support the gardening industry but this feels like they are taking advantage of the current crisis. They are very quick to take your money and then do not deliver the goods and make it impossible to contact them. Also, they place adverts with google to gain more business and do not deliver to existing customers. If they are a proper family business, with an ethical approach, then they need to invest in proper customer service.

Having got in touch with gardening express about a dahlia I purchased I was quite simply fobbed off by someone called Marina.
They didn't want to know about my dahlia which arrived with a crushed stem and it will not survive.
Disgusting attitude keep away and buy from someone who cares.

Arrived poorly packed in black plastic and when open no soil attached to the roots.
Looked dead but planted straightaway and after six weeks no life. Emailed customer service and sent photos but they are not responding. This company should be investigated by Trading Standards and shut down, they are rogues.
