I sent a flawless I phone 4 Gs in which was always in a case and not a scratch on it. They gave me a price quote of 90.00. They make it very easy to send in. That was great. They inspected it and offered a price of 20 dollars. A joke. They will turn around and sell it for at least 200. Do yourself a favor and sell on eBay or Craig's list.
I recently received an off for my phone from Gazelle of $371 for my Samsung Galaxy S21 5G, the phone was 1 month old and in excellent condition since it was placed in a protective case since day 1. The phone was never dropped and had not damage or scratches. We switched carriers and received new phones so we no longer needed this one. Gazelle received the phone and sent me an email stating my offer had been alerted as the phone had surface scratches(?). $171 was the new offer! I requested Gazelle return my phone as I fell they bait and switch their potential customers, thinking that most will just say what the hell and take the new offer. I find it interesting that I found a Used phone, on Gazelle's web site, same as our model on sale (used) for $668! I would recommend you avoid using this company when trying to trade in a device, explore other options.
Shame on me for giving them more than one chance! I ordered an IPhone and they sent an unlocked phone instead of what the invoice and order had indicated. Second time they did not send the correct phone. They send one with less gb than what I ordered and paid for. I called and they lacked the ability to resolve the issue of returning the phone and putting myself out without a phone to use. When I originally started this process I had an old phone to use during the transition.
Didn't Gazelle used to send you a box to mail your item back to them? This tme they didn't - my item didn't qualify for the box they mail, maybe due to it's size (small). That's the only negative feedback I have. The whole process was streamlined and simple, and they responded quickly once they received my item.
I was quoted a price for my phone. Sent it in then they said it was wrong & want to keep it & "recycle " it. I said no n send it back to me. Well i never received my phone back or money do I'm out both
I've used Gazelle for 3 devices and have felt that I am received a very fair price for them. The process is easy and shipping is included. All I had to do was pay for a safe and secure box for the devices that didn't have the original box.
Don't believe the offer they provide on line. Once you send your device they will put you payment on hold pending acceptance of a new low-ball offer. You won't even be notified of the requirement to accept the new offer and the only way you will know is from waiting to get your payment and it doesn't come. You go back an check the site and your payment status and then you will see an action item to accept new offer. Total scam.
I bought two iPhone 6S Plus phones from Gazelle. Both needed new batteries within 90 days. With many sellers of used iPhones, a new battery is part if their refurbished phones. Not so with Gazelle.
The worst part is when I sent them a request regarding this through their website, I never got a response. They could have replied and said " we don't do batteries" but instead I got NOTHING for a response. Piss poor customer service.
Sent them a flawless phone, they quoted $202. When the phone arrived they claimed there were scratches and downgraded the quote to $168. The phone had no scratches. I would never do business with them. Scammers. They quote the highest to get you to sell to them but always downgrade the price after receiving the phone.
I sold them two phones. In both cases they increased the amount they had offered because the phones were in great condition. Very pleasant surprise. Everything went smoothly. Got Amazon credit for the phones. I recommend them.
We got a 10% bonus offer to trade our phones in. We clicked through that link, received the offer sent the phone back in and it was processed. They sent us the base amount but we still havent received the 10% bonus that we were contracted to receive.
I shipped an Ipad to Gazelle in excellent condition. The iPad sat on my desk for years and did not have a mark on it. I packed and shipped in the Gazelle USPS box. The box is half the thickness of former boxes from Gazelle. Now they claim the iPad arrived cracked. Too bad for me. I won't use this option again.

They claimed my perfectly working phone didn't work and offered me just $30. I asked for it back and they returned it without the box, cables, or manuals (which they asked for in the description). Now I have a perfectly working phone I cannot sell.
The iPhone 6 arrived and I built it with all my data. 12 hours later it overheated and completely died. They want me to return it 'as is' to get a refund; however, it now contains ALL MY PERSONAL DATA. As they then sell off broken phones to an unknown third party and specifically offer no protection for whatever happens to the data, I'm in a dilemma. If I physically remove the memory it voids the guarantee. There is no other way to wipe/reset it, since it's broken. I might be paranoid about identity theft, but Apple recommend never returning a phone without wiping the memory. And Gazelle's own terms spells out that they take zero responsibility for what happens to your data once they sell it on.
Apple specifically address this and guarantee the security of any phone data returned to them - whereas Gazelle gives no guarantee of this and specifically warn buyers that they will sell the phone on to an unknown recycler.
The Gazelle process is easy, fast and seamless. This is the second phone I have sold. I would have just recycled them, but so glad I found Gazelle and was able to make a little money in the turning them in!
These guys went above and beyond. They no longer buy the iPhone 4s, but I threw my mom's old one in with my 5s anyway, just to get rid of it and didn't expect to get anything for it, but they gave me a few extra bucks anyway! I'm satisfied.
I depend on having a smart phone for work, and when mine broke, I was excited to find a reasonable deal on Gazelle. Ordered a Verizon iPhone 5s and paid for 2-day shipping, arrived on the 4th business day. Then I opened the package and saw that it was an AT&T iPhone 6. Called customer service, and they said they couldn't send me the correct phone; I needed to place a whole new order. So messed up!
Everything with gazelle was great. They got the boxes out to me to ship to ship my items to them quickly. They processed the boxes as soon as they came in and I had my money in PayPal within a few days of them receiving my items. Thanks for the great service.
I sent them my factory reset Samsung S21 Ultra that had no scratches, has a Verizon sim card with a cover that had a the s-pen in it. Once they had it they tried to say it had scratches, that it was not a Verizon sim card, stated they could not make a call from it (I transferred service to my new phone) and changed their offer from $326+ to $33. When I said no to their revised offer they sent my phone back, without a cover and s-pen. I get it, but still disappointed that they tried to rip me off.
This is the second time i have sold my phone to gazelle, and it was quick and easy. I received more money than anticipated for the value of my phone. The first time, i opted for a check. This time i asked for an amazon giftcard since it'll give me 3% more. As soon as they received my old phone, they emailed me the giftcard right away.
Answer: No experience with that. Experience with their staff and their customer service, don't fo business with them. My phone was returned in October, and I still have not received my refund. They finally sent me an email saying my return was received, in December but tracking showed it received in October, and still no refund.
Answer: I would not buy from or sell to Gazelle regardless of what they claim.
Answer: No! Dishonest! Had to file a dispute with my credit card company tinged my money back and that took 3 months
