Never had a big problem with them. I've bought 3 guitars during the years. One time i got discount for cosmetic issue and once my amp broke. They didn't want it back, but sent me a new one. (took a while tho). I like the way it's possible to pay via different ways, but their pricing is higher than some of their competitors. Even after being gold or platinum member. Also, their stock might feel slightly limited when looking spare parts. This all being said, I'll give it a solid 4/5. Ps. I think they raised their game after some negative user experiences.
Avoid this these crooks at all cost! Awful customer service. Take your money and won't refund even with proof you didn't cause the damage.
I've purchased the Barnes and Mullins BJ300 banjo from the website 2 weeks ago. I did so given the reduced price and that the item will arrive in 4-5 working days.
I've discovered that my item was delayed by a vague email not providing any information about its proximate date. So I have called Gear4Music just to find out that the delivery has been postponed till 22 of June. I wouldn't mind to wait that long, but I need the banjo for work.
I find this quite upsetting as I've bought it given the conditions of "quick" delivery.
I'd like to have slightly bit more communication with the customers and not just a vague email with no information.

I have had to return faulty and damaged keyboards a total of five times now. It takes up to 72 hours to receive a reply to emails and a couple more days before the return is organised. It takes nearly the full 3 months for the keyboards to be returned each time.
Gear4music has let me down. I bought a Nord Stage from them in August 2017. I had to return the keyboard in April because of faulty software issues. I got the keyboard back yesterday after 2 and a half months and the end panel and front casing is so damaged as if it has been dropped. Gear4music have just informed me that it will be at least two months before they can repair the damage.
Communication from their customer care was awful. I rang several times over the 2 and a half months for information and I was told I would be called back but nobody called me back.
I could not recommend Gear4music or Nord based on my experience.
They don't even have the equipment they advertise. They will hold your money as long as they can, and then keep a fee at the end of the cancelation process. Whatever you don't purchase anything from these crooks!
Bought a behringer x touch with extender Faults started with channel 6 became erratic and scribble script not working. Sent it back and have now been told it will be 60 days or even more before I get it back. I wish I had bought it from another dealer
Ordered a PA for next day delivery but only one speaker arrived. I had to chase them every day for a week(they never once contacted me) to get the other speaker. Eventually I had to give up and ask for a refund……. Who knows if and when i will get it.
I have found this company a nightmare to deal with. Ive had to threaten legal action. After promising a refund having failed to deliver they now say it was delivered despite my receiving an email saying their courier couldnt deliver. In my opinion they are untrustworthy and im still waiting for a refund for a piano!. Of note they asked me to fill in a form saying i didnt get the delivery after sending an email saying they couldnt deliver and after promising a refund. This has dragged on weeks. We are now in january and i was promised delivery around 13.12.12. Still no refund no delivery and i even offered in the process to pay for delivery. In my experience nightmare.

Do not buy from this company. They sold me a what was supposed to be a NEW audio interface and recieved refurbished audio interface where the buttons popped off right out the box! Quick and efficient customer service that promptly tells you there's nothing they can do. CAlling BULL$#*!

I bought a dean flying V in the sale still £320 with extended warranty, I opened it and noticed it was full of cosmetic factory faults G4M should have picked up if they checked and set up the guitar and most online retailers do. Long story short I sent the guitar back it got scratched in transit and they claimed it was my fault dispute the fake I have proof it wasn't and the guitar should never have been delivered full of fault's anyway. The retailer us supposed to be final quality control before it gets to the customer. Unfortunately g4M like to leave that to customers! As many have stated once they have your money they couldn't care less they're rude, argumentative and just terrible to deal with after purchase. Needless to say I've not really played the guitar as everytime I pick it up it reminds how badly I was swindled.
I was looking around for TC Helicon Play Acoustic which I was told by multiple sites is back-ordered in the United States. I found this product on the Gear4music site and tried ordering from here. It was with me the NEXT DAY! Brand new, delivered within 24 hours of me placing the order.
Besides the expedited delivery, the Staff is super friendly and in fact, went out of their way to assist with my requests. I am very happy to deal with this site and be it a phone call or email the staff has been exemplary with their customer Services. They use DHL to ship which is super fast!
I will NOT hesitate to order from them again in future. Go GEAR4MUSIC -you guys ROCK!

I tried to order a $185 microphone from this website I had around $220 on my card.
I entered in my card Info and pressed continue it said that the order could not go through, so I called my card company who informed me that I only had 30 cents on the card when I had just loaded the money onto it, please do not do business with this company I'm glad I used a prepaid debit and not my bank account these guys will just try to take all your money/drain your account and not even give the products offered
Ordered a keyboard, 4 of the keys didn't work. Sent it back and now being charged for postage after fighting for a refund rather than store credit. Avoid at all costs!

I have had nothing but issues with this keyboard bought just under a year ago. The first one I received the lower keys played a higher volume than the lower keys. That item was returned. The second one I received had the same problem but was less so. I decided to keep and just get on with it! Now my keyboard has developed a buzz. Intermittently. I sent them a recording of it. Probably speakers. I'm told I have to return it and it may take up to two months. I don't have any packaging! They are saying if the keyboard gets damaged in transit it will be my fault. Basically this company is unreliable for musicians who don't want to be parted from their instruments. They are also unreliable in terms of quality products if my keyboard is anything to go by. I feel very let down. I was going to invest in a piano with them at a later stage but will not be buying from them or any other supplier for that matter that doesn't come to the instrument or supply a replacement whilst they are sorting any issues. I'm an a stale mate with this situation as their solution is totally unacceptable. They know it of course and I guess are hoping I'll disappear. This company does not respect their customers. Please go else where to avoid dissatisfaction.
Their own brand stuff isn't exactly the best on the market, however, this is made up for by their extensive range of musical gear. They sell products from a range of famous brands at decent prices.
Ordered on the 18th June, delivery initially expected by the 4th July. Received email saying it would be the 9th, then the 14th and then the 9th August. Appalling service and delivery time. Cancelled my order and ordered from somewhere else.
I sent my keyboard during the warranty repair, and not only they do not help (THEY ASKED 350 POUNDS FOR REPAIR!), but my keyboard was sent back to me with a couple of broken keys and a crack! Eventually, I had to look at what was going on with it myself, I had only to connect the sockets inside of the keyboard together and it works again (As Simple As That) But they damaged my keys (two keys) and it is beyond repairable. They are trying to SCAM people's money with the repair service and the warranty is void from the start. What a hideous company! Please do aware of the website and do not trust them.
They sent my $200 dollar compressor to an abandoned tire shop. I have emailed them 3x and there is no response. Do not shop from these folks. There are a lot of other RELIABLE Places.
I ordered an item and paid for delivery. The delivery date of the item kept being pushed back and I never received the item! Called the after sales team who clearly did not care. Have now ordered the product off another website with next day delivery. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS SITE!
I ordered a item from Gear4Music. It was time sensitive due a project I had been commissioned. I Realised it was the USB version & not the thunderbolt so I arranged for a return & exchange.
I was informed that once the item had been received at their warehouse it would take 24/48hrs to process then I could order the exchange.
The couriers chosen by Gear4Music didn't put the return label on the return package initially and it got delivered back to my house! I was so confused. I had to reject the package which resulted in it taking another two days to reach their warehouse.
Upon receipt (tracked & picture) I called in to double check the time it would take to arrange the exchange only to be informed that now the product had reached the warehouse, it would take a further 5-10 day to process my returned item before I can order the product I actually want.
I was fuming, the Gear4Music.com employee was completely un-empathetic & almost blamed me for not knowing their policy. I told him I was clearly mis-informed, he said I was not as it was written down that it would take that long.
Due to how Gear4Music.com handled the process I decided that I'd rather have a refund and order the same item from somewhere else that doesn't take a million years to process a returned item & has better customer service skills.
I placed an order for a piano on the 30th Oct for my 6 year old daughter. At the time of purchasing the item was available to deliver within a couple of weeks. My daughter was counting days until the day when the piano was due to be delivered. Unfortunately, the piano was not delivered on the promised day. I called the courier and they said that Gear4Music cancelled me order. I then phoned up Gear4Music and they had no clue of what was happening. The later they called me back to say that the courier had some error and they are returning the piano back to their warehouse. The customer agent said that I have to wait for 2 weeks for the item to return to their warehouse and then another 2 weeks for the same item to be dispatched back to me. The agent said that he spoke to his manager and there is nothing else they can do.
Today I logged into Gear4Music website and it says my order has been cancelled after I have waited for almost 4 weeks. There has not been any communication from Gear4Music whatsoever. Really disappointed, this is a shocking customer service and I am now left in the dark to figure out what is happening. My daughter asks every day when her piano will come...

I bought the NT1-A Bundle "Brand New" includes stand shield mic and cable. I set it all up for the mic to not be working. Once I inspected the mic I saw the pins (where you plug in the xlr cable) where damaged, one was shorter than the rest another was taller than the rest. Once plugged in it was making picking up funny sounds (white noise maybe).
I called to set up a refund explained I want the package deal but I need the mic fixed. Whoever I spoke to on the phone said fine just send the mic back. I sent it back but heard nothing. I wasn't sure they reviewed it so I contacted DPD. DPD WHO HANDLE THEIR DELIVERIES TOLD US THEY HAVE BEEN DESIGNATED THERE OWN AREA BECAUSE OF THE VOLUME OF RETURNS BECAUSE ITEMS WHERE FAULTY. PERSONALLY I SUSPECT THEY SELL SECOND HAND ITEMS AS BRAND NEW. PLEASE DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY AND TIME LIKE I DID. IMAGINE IF THIS WAS MY ONLY INCOME (STUDIO TIME) I WOULD BE SCREWED WAITING FOR THESE CON ARTISTS TO PICK IT UP.
