I replaced the icemaker in my Kenmore refrigerator. The bad news is that this is the second time I have had to replace the icemaker, but the good news is that the replacement maker is definitely OEM and works like a charm. (Please note that the need to replace has nothing to do with genuine replacement parts, it is an old model refrigerator, so we were not surprised that we needed a replacement.) Genuine Replacement Parts is a dependable and responsive company that provides OEM parts at a significant price reduction from what one might get if one went to the appliance manufacturer I have had other transactions with GRP, and they have all been smooth and easy.

I waited until past 60 days to install. The wrong part was in the box. Sent pics. No care from them. They said I was too late. I can order another part but I am stuck with the one their computer says is compatible. They sent a diagram. I chose the part. The picture shows much longer wiring. That is NOT the part I received. I don't want anything for free. I even offered to ship the part back at my cost. I just want the correct part. GRP doesn't care. After 60 days, out of luck. No matter whose fault it is. Oh, I tried several times to attach proof of purchase. It wouldn't upload. My invoice # 4920725

My advice to anyone looking for a part for their washer is to stay far away from this company. I originally ordered a capacitor for my washer on my own from GRP. When it arrived it was a lot bigger than the one I had in my washer. So I called GRP and asked them if this part I ordered was right. They said it wasn't and gave me a new part number to order. I placed this second order and when it arrived it was the same capacitor as the first one. So another representative gave me another part number to order for my third order. But after placing this third order I was able to figure out on my own that the first part I ordered was right. I then quickly cancelled this third order.

I installed the first capacity on my washer, and it was indeed the correct one. So why did their representative tell me it was the wrong part when I called? I then shipped the second order back. Cheyenne, a lead in the office, is now telling me they are going to charge me a $5.00 restocking fee and she is refusing to cover my return shipping cost of $10.15. Whose fault was it? The frustrating part of all of this is the fact that their representatives were the ones giving me all the wrong information. Plus look at how much time I have wasted with all of this!

So again my advice is to look for a parts company who places a high value on great customer relationships, who will give out correct information, and puts customers' needs first!

These guys have no clue about good customer service!

I ordered 2 parts on a Friday, on Monday morning I checked to see if parts had been shipped and they had not been shipped yet, but being processed so I told them I would like to cancel order. They E-mailed me back saying that packaged would still need to be shipped so when I received I could send back and they would inspect and return. When I received package I did not even unpack just immediately took to post office and sent back which I paid for the return freight. So when they received the package 3 days later it took them 10 days to refund my money less a restocking fee. They could have stopped the whole deal before it ever shipped. MY BAD kI SHOULD HAVE READ REVIEWS ABOUT THIS COMPANY.

Johnathan and his wife are crooks. Says they ship to day but they use US Mail and ship many days late. If you need a part in 2 weeks they might be your place. If you need it quick AVOID!

I updated my account address. Product was shipped to old address. They refused to help unless I paid another $22. GRP stole $150 from me. See response below from the stellar support crew.

My name is Rafaela -- GRP's customer service manager. I have reviewed your order and ticket history. In good faith, I have submitted a request to our warehouse manager to learn if there is any way to change the address without the fee with the carrier.

Our policies apply to all customer and orders. Once an order is processing for shipping typically we cannot make any changes. Also, we have a disputes department who can respond to your bank with your order details and our communication with you.

Since you chose not to accept the fee, the order may be be delivered to the original address.

We will let you know if we can successfully update the address or not to 5640 Whitebark Dr Myrtle Beach SC *******

After finding out that my order could not be stopped before it was shipped even though they were closed I was emailed at least three times by customer service what the procedure was in order to qualify for a refund after a restocking fee of course. Box in which item was shipped had to be the return box and could not have any blemishes, writing or tape on it that would distract from re-selling item. You need to acknowledge in writing that the item has not been installed or used. You have to pay for shipping and a restocking fee. Once they receive the box, they will inspect it and determine if you in fact met all the criteria spelled out in their instruction email. Since I had just mailed a box weighing at least 30lbs to Newport Island New York, same size box and it cost $12.50 I figured might be even less because it was about 3 lbs., but I was okay with the same. I was shocked to find out that it would cost $37.+ to return plus the restocking fee. The item cost less than the shipping alone... UPS indicated that it was because of the location it was going to. Well, now that is interesting, obviously GRP knows that they will not get any returns because they certainly are aware of shipping to the location, they chose for it to go which must be a massive commercial hub of some sort. Bottom line here is that I will never do business again with these people, they certainly are not out for any kind of customer support and consequently repeat business.

Tip for consumers:
If you need a refund, good luck. Don't spend too much and it will not hurt so bad.

Spring broke so I bought 2 of them in case this happened again. Youtube was a help to get it installed properly with video. Just make sure you have the right model.

Part ordered was as described and shipping was quick. Dropped right into. Place. Appliance repair quoted $578 to fix this, ordered the part for $150 and it took 15 minutes to drop in.

Found parts needed listed on GRP website. Ordered and received quickly. Turns out the part listed is a substitute from the manufacturer and it would not fit correctly. I had to then get the parts locally at Tribble's Appliance Parts. I took the old part and the part from GRP and they confirmed that it would not work. I sent the parts back to GRP as per their emailed instructions and was emailed that they were not going to refund for the opened part. Now I'm out the cost of the wrong part and shipping it back, plus the cost of the parts I had to buy locally in order to do the repairs. Even though the mistake was totally the fault of their website information, and the substitution of the part by the manufacturer, the customer service rep would only refund for the unopened part. Obviously not a company I would recommend or will ever do business with again. BEWARE, DON'T get your parts from GENUINE REPLACEMENT PARTS (GRP).

BEWARE PEOPLE WHEN BUYING FROM THIS VENDOR. THEIR WEBSITE CAN BE MISLEADING SOMETIMES WHEN IT COMES TO WHAT IS INCLUDED ON WHAT YOU ARE PAYING FOR ON TOP OF THAT THEY DONT HAVE ANY OTHER SHIPPING OPTIONS BUT THE ONE DAY SHIPPING WHICH YOU HAVE TO PAY OUT OF YOUR POCKET AFTER TAXES WERE ADDED. IN THE END YOU MIGHT END UP LIKE ME THAT I PAID ABOUT $33 FOR JUST A PIECE OF TOUCH PAD STICKER NOT THE PANNEL OR THE CLOCK ITSELF. IM VERY DISAPPOINTED AND IN ORDER TO RETURN THIS ITEM YOU HAVE TO PAY FOR A RETURNING FEES WHICH DOESNT MAKE IT WORTH BOTHERING.

HOME DEPOT 60 DOLLARS CHEAPER,SAME PART, PART WELL PACKAGED BUT SCREWS TO ATTACH GAUGE FACEPLATE TO MANIFOLD THREADS TOO BIG, FIT ORIGINAL MANIFOLD THREADS ON NEW MANIFOLD SMALLER THAN ORIGINAL, SO NOW I HAVE TO FIND SMALLER SCREWS OR BUY A TAP TO MAKE THREADS BIGGER. I will never use or recommend this company again.
I spent $183.44 without receiving my part
Extremely difficult customer service.
After placing an order at 9:15 am and paying through PayPal I received a shipping processing notification that was time stamped approx. 1:32pm via email.
After opening this email a little after 3:00 pm I noticed the there was NO shipping address.
I went into my FedEx manager and found the shipping address to be an old address. I immediately contacted FedEx and was told to contact the Shipper.
This is where the headache starts. I was told even though the package had not left the warehouse I would have to pay a $23.00 fee to change the address.
GRP stance was it is my fault the address was wrong.
When ordering on line I had used PayPal and, noticed PayPal had my 5 year old address along with my current address. I immediately clicked edit and made sure my current address was entered as my default address.
GRP doesn't care that Thier system does not recognize default settings. Funny I have not been able to delete the old address that was pulled in from PayPal by GRP.
After numerous phone calls with FedEx and GRP this entire problem could be resolved with a simple call from GRP.
GRP would rather price gouge a customer. FedEx informed that GRP MIGHT be charged $19.60 to change the address and have the package picked up.
GRP wants $23.00 from me.
This all could of been avoided before the package ever left the warehouse.
