I replaced the icemaker in my Kenmore refrigerator. The bad news is that this is the second time I have had to replace the icemaker, but the good news is that the replacement maker is definitely OEM and works like a charm. (Please note that the need to replace has nothing to do with genuine replacement parts, it is an old model refrigerator, so we were not surprised that we needed a replacement.) Genuine Replacement Parts is a dependable and responsive company that provides OEM parts at a significant price reduction from what one might get if one went to the appliance manufacturer I have had other transactions with GRP, and they have all been smooth and easy.
I waited until past 60 days to install. The wrong part was in the box. Sent pics. No care from them. They said I was too late. I can order another part but I am stuck with the one their computer says is compatible. They sent a diagram. I chose the part. The picture shows much longer wiring. That is NOT the part I received. I don't want anything for free. I even offered to ship the part back at my cost. I just want the correct part. GRP doesn't care. After 60 days, out of luck. No matter whose fault it is. Oh, I tried several times to attach proof of purchase. It wouldn't upload. My invoice # 4920725

Please read before you order anything from Zappz.com
Our daughter's washer machine timer if on the fritz... so in searching for the part via the internet I noticed Zappz was offering (Part #*******) for $108.89 with free shipping so I ordered it. The very next day I received an email back from the company telling me they had a price glitch and they cancelled my order and are refunding my credit card. They also stated if I wanted to reorder at the correct price they did have the timers in stock and would ship right away.
Wow - they CANCELLED my order! I went back on their website to see how much they raised the price it went from $108.89 to almost $130.00 so I wrote them an email back asking them to honor their original price point and not to cancel my order. I did not receive any responses. I then went back to their website and started a "Chat session" with one of their customer service agents - let her know of my order issue and asked if they would honor the original price she stated they couldn't. I said well that it terrible that her company will not honor a price they had displayed on their website and customer should not be held responsible because of a glitch in their system.
We did order the part from another company happily and even paid more... I would never recommend doing business with this company they are not customer focused!

The ice maker looks to be correct but the plug is wrong. My refrigerator has a three prong plug and the ice maker I bought has a four prong. Is there an adapter for this application?

My advice to anyone looking for a part for their washer is to stay far away from this company. I originally ordered a capacitor for my washer on my own from GRP. When it arrived it was a lot bigger than the one I had in my washer. So I called GRP and asked them if this part I ordered was right. They said it wasn't and gave me a new part number to order. I placed this second order and when it arrived it was the same capacitor as the first one. So another representative gave me another part number to order for my third order. But after placing this third order I was able to figure out on my own that the first part I ordered was right. I then quickly cancelled this third order.
I installed the first capacity on my washer, and it was indeed the correct one. So why did their representative tell me it was the wrong part when I called? I then shipped the second order back. Cheyenne, a lead in the office, is now telling me they are going to charge me a $5.00 restocking fee and she is refusing to cover my return shipping cost of $10.15. Whose fault was it? The frustrating part of all of this is the fact that their representatives were the ones giving me all the wrong information. Plus look at how much time I have wasted with all of this!
So again my advice is to look for a parts company who places a high value on great customer relationships, who will give out correct information, and puts customers' needs first!

I ordered 2 parts on a Friday, on Monday morning I checked to see if parts had been shipped and they had not been shipped yet, but being processed so I told them I would like to cancel order. They E-mailed me back saying that packaged would still need to be shipped so when I received I could send back and they would inspect and return. When I received package I did not even unpack just immediately took to post office and sent back which I paid for the return freight. So when they received the package 3 days later it took them 10 days to refund my money less a restocking fee. They could have stopped the whole deal before it ever shipped. MY BAD kI SHOULD HAVE READ REVIEWS ABOUT THIS COMPANY.

Johnathan and his wife are crooks. Says they ship to day but they use US Mail and ship many days late. If you need a part in 2 weeks they might be your place. If you need it quick AVOID!

BEWARE PEOPLE WHEN BUYING FROM THIS VENDOR. Found parts needed listed on GRP website. Ordered and received quickly. Turns out the part listed is a substitute from the manufacturer and it would not fit correctly. I had to then get the parts locally at Tribble's Appliance Parts. I took the old part and the part from GRP and they confirmed that it would not work. I sent the parts back to GRP as per their emailed instructions and was emailed that they were not going to refund for the opened part. Now I'm out the cost of the wrong part and shipping it back, plus the cost of the parts I had to buy locally in order to do the repairs. Even though the mistake was totally the fault of their website information, and the substitution of the part by the manufacturer, the customer service rep would only refund for the unopened part. Obviously not a company I would recommend or will ever do business with again. BEWARE, DON'T get your parts from GENUINE REPLACEMENT PARTS (GRP).
