Very good trips and you are told everything that you need to know,the only problem that I had was zakopane trip i specifically booked knowing that I would be picked up outside my hotel but the day before I got a messsge to say that my pick up was a few streets away and it would be 25 minutes earlier,I could of understood if it was a big coach but it was only a minibus but apart from this the trips were well worth the money
Have used GetYourGuide to book tours in Playa del Carmen, Mexico, (2022) and Seattle, WA (2023).
Tried the service for the first time as I get a discount through my workplace. Don't know how much I saved in Mexico, but the two tours I booked for Seattle thru GYG using my workplace discount, I saved $75 over booking same tours on my own. Have not run into any problems redeeming the vouchers for tickets, or joining a tour. Very satisfied with GYG.
We booked a whale watching tour in Tenerife through getyourguide since they paid Google to appear as the first result. Big mistake as the tour wasn't available/was canceled, and getyourguide didn't let us know. Getyourguide also autofilled the wrong country code as my mom's phone number, so the tour company couldn't even contact us. Also, getyourguide said we had to meet at a completely different point than at the harbour, while this was not the case at all. Thankfully the tour company compensated us, but please never book this THROUGH a booking company like getyourguide and just call the tour company instead.
So let start by saying your starts at 6am meaning you have to be up before that to be ready. I book this tour with my family for vaca fun. We call support as a group to see how was transportation would work out. Around 7am a van pulls Up with a bus full of people. I asked the driver was he picking up my sister and the rest of my family he told me yes they were on the way. After picking up the next group the driver realize that we were on the wrong Van. Turn the van around took us back to the hotel and told us that the other van another van was coming to pick me and my family up as a group. We never got a callback from anyone that day about the tour. Getting a refund is becoming a nightmare. Supposedly due to the driver picking us up and take us back to the hotel to wait for another van. This tour was $150 per person. This was a waste of money from the start trust me.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE IN MIAMI! Booked a jet ski experience and followed all of the instructions on the printed voucher. Arrived at the venue only to discover that the price of the Jet Ski activity had DOUBLED because of hidden fees. Consistent with the instructions on the voucher I called three times to confirm never once did anyone say there were additional costs, except a cash only $100 cash only deposit via an automated message. Only after arrival did they point to the small print on an email, I never received, as justification for the additional costs. Refunds only happen 24 hours prior to arrival, because they don't tell you about the additional charges until you arrive, preventing the refund. Your are much better off skipping purchases online, and going in person so you could make the choice on the fees also the price is about $15 better. Online (Getyourguide) is a bait and switch operation.

Apparently, it looks like a serious company! But their affiliate program is a total ridicule!
GetyourGuide offers nothing to grow your online business, to earn a permanent commission. They provide a system that aims to access all Users of their partners' partners on their GetYourGuide website.
So, in other words, you have an e-commerce site, personal blog or a simple online project. All users who want to buy something will be redirected to their page, and in the future they will do all the shopping without you getting any commission! When I asked if you have an API, why do you allow it to complete purchases on the partner's website, they said they can not offer us that.
They say they keep cookie data for users for 31 days, but this does nothing! The user of the partner can access the next day their site on another device and they have a way to identify it!
We tried to become affiliated with them, but when we saw the conditions we refused!
You invest money in your project, advertise, marketing campaigns, and finally make sure all of your users go to the Getyourguide site for free. This is their purpose!
I have visited the factory before this was an amazing tour Lucy our guide was exceptional- her knowledge outstanding- she answered questions from the group with ease I would definitely book again

I cant find any lower rating than 1 star, basically i book the tour in sgd but was charge usd. Found tripadvisor having same artinary but having 1 more item, contacted customer service of findyrguide only to be told best price garentee is only for exact tour and exact provider. I wont mind if its a small diff, tripadvisor offers for less than half their price, made to believe its sold in sgd but charged in usd. A total rip off.

I booked a trip with them to Peggys coves day trip. I told them I'm really sick and I don't want to infect other people if I have flu, cold or Covid 19
The lady over the phone refused to refund me knowing that if I go in a tiny car with 3 other people make jeopardize their health
She asked for a doctors note but the note for a refund costs 35$. I already paid 55$ for the trip
Which means I'll end up with $20 in total back
How is that a refund if I end up with less than half what I paid
I told her I got sick today she was like this is a less than 24 note
Do we plan to get sick?
And why the health of others doesn't matter?
We just survived a pandemic some people can't afford to get Covid or get sick

We had 3 perfect adventure tours (buggy tour in Funchal, catamaran tour with Obycat in Caleste fuerteventura, buggy tour Lanzarote with h2o) booked through GyG. All providers were very diligent and friendly partly even with pick up service. We are happy to book again via GyG
I was searching a guide for a safari in kruger Park with a short notice.

I purchased tickets for MOMA and due to the new COVID restrictions my 10 year som was not allowed to enter. The staff at MOMA advised that I would get a full refund. I sent contacted GETYOURGUIDE and explained the situation. After 8 emails back and forth they informed me I will not get a refund. This is unfortunate. I will make sure not to use the site again.

Great experience - the Segway instruction beforehand made sure I could safey use the machine. I'm 70 years old and have a bad back, so I was worried. But the instruction was calm, thorough, and once that was completed I couls safely use the Segway. Tour guide was great.
Unfortunately, this booking platform doesn't cater for customers.

Avoid making bookings through GetYourGuide, because if something goes wrong and you need to contact the actual service provider, they won't be able to help. GYG provides wrong contact numbers and when you use $#*! they don't resolve it and always return the blame to the user.
I booked a visit and had an unforeseen event 30 minutes before the start I tried to contact them by all means, including GYG's $#*! and nothing. I couldn't go on the tour, and I could have done it, it was on foot. Now the GYG $#*! informs me that I should have cancelled 24 hours before, as if I had known then that I was going to have an unforeseen event 30 minutes before, it would have been enough to make a functional telephone contact directly to the provider and everything would have been resolved.

Purchased a "Gladiator" tour of the Colosseum several weeks before my wife and I departed for our trip to Italy. Just 2 days before our tour was to take place, the company contacted us to say that our tour was not available and that they were offering to put us on a tour that cost half as much, about $80 difference for 2 adults, but they would only refund $5 to us as an "inconvenience fee." OR we could opt for a complete refund and get no tour. With minimal ability to shop and such a short time before our tour (we were only to be in Rome for 1 day), we accepted the tour. The tour itself was completely horrible and I hated every second of it. It was so terrible that several other tourists abandoned the guide mid-tour... The tour guide was awful and spent 95% of the time walking around talking about things NOT related to the Colosseum, and then abruptly ended the tour and left us a few minutes before the tour was supposed to end. It was like she just walked around talking about random things until she thought she'd satisfied the time requirement, and then abandoned us. When we got home a week later I noticed the company had still not sent us the "inconvenience" money, so I started contacting them, after several weeks of going back and forth the company said they would refund my money for the entire tour, but they never did. Rather than refund my credit card or issue a check, the company demanded sensitive banking information, so I called my bank and they recommended not giving that type of information out to anyone. The company continued to refuse to issue a check or refund my credit card.

Our trip was very very very bad. They don't came in time and we has need to white for them. We payed for skipping the line but we waited an hour and 40 minutes just for know they don't buy tickets online and we has to wait for them again. The eyfal was great beacoze we ran out of them. Don't rase your many!

We had booked a safari with Get Your Guide.
Our guide and driver was Haroon, his service was very good from the beginning till the end of the safari. Haroon was a nice guy, so helpfull, funny and a very good driver.
The safari was very nice to experience. Dinner was also very nice. We surely enjoyed the day from the start till end.

We have make a tour from Dubai to Abu Dhabi. Our tour guide Fesal a perfect guide we give him a 10. He's a great person and helpfull. He's for us the perfect guide. He nows a lot and he holds the group together in a peaceful way.
All is well until something goes wrong, I booked a private walking tour in Monaco a month before only to be notified 2 hrs before tour that the tour was completely booked. This was a PRIVATE TOUR, I was told they were sorry but they do not have any control over third parties. I guess we learned the hard way, from now on I will only book directly with any tour company.
