DOOY NOT BUY MASTERCARD GIFT CARD,
There was an unauthorized and fraudulent charge of $100.00 on my MasterCard Gift card so I called the company and requested a credit back of $100.00
It first took 45 days yes 45 days to review my case and that is after me writing letters and faxing claim forms, after 45 days they said that my case is not closed yet so they need 5 more days to close the case and on top of that they need another 14 days touest for a new card to be sent to me.
That is a total of 64 days to get my $100.00 refunded.
It is their responsibility to prevent fraudulent activity and give a better service to costumers, but they failed to do so at the expense of the consumers.
I will never buy this gift card again.
In the past year, this company has become completely unreliable. Walk away from any resale gift card that has a balance in five dollar increments. Someone is selling them fraudulent cards and they are NOT backing these cards after 100 days. The ones that they do refund are a customer service nightmare. I have bought from them since 2009 and never had a problem until this past year. A $100 grocery card came back as a fraudulent purchase. They refunded that after I called the store. After that I bought a $150 card from a restaurant but didn't use it immediately. I bought two $200 cards from a completely different restaurant a few months later. Received a phone call saying that one of the cards I purchased was not even in stock. Then the one I did get was also a fraudulent purchase. They refunded both of those cards eventually but I had to keep calling. I pulled out the $150 one I hadn't used and it turned out that that one was fraud as well but since 100 days had passed, they wouldn't refund it and the customer service rep was so incredibly snotty about it as if they got away with something. Be very very careful with these people. Check your purchase immediately and repeatedly with the company that honors the cards because giftcards.com does. Not. Care. If you eat your purchase.
Sold an Old Navy ($200) Gift Card that I received from my job on 11/16/13 to Giftcards.com. They verified my bank account by putting a $1.00 hold on the account. I received the verificiation email saying everything was good. This morning (11/18/13) I received another email stating that the funds were unavailable on the gift card. Mind you that I received it via USPS on Friday 11/15/13. I checked the amount on the card to verify that it was activated. Sure enough... the $200.00. We preceeded to sell the gift card online to giftcards.com. Once I received the email this morning saying that the gift card has a zero balance, I called to check the balance myself. Nothing on the gift card. When I called to speak to a rep at giftcards.com, they said that the gift card had no balance. When I called the actual issuer of the gift card, I was informed that a $200 transaction had been applied the yesterday... Now they are not taking any responsibility and claiming they never took the funds out. The gift card has sat in the junk drawer in my kitchen all weekend. This is bull$#*!. Are they going to do anything? Issue my $200 back? Issue me the $164 check they said they would issue...

Ordered a gift card through this site. I've met with some Blackhawk folks in my professional life, so I expected a strong experience. Boy was I wrong, it sucked and I've learned my lesson. If you're reading this and considering using GiftCards.com, I suggest you go to your local big pharmacy or supermarket to pick up the card(s) you need directly.
First, the estimated delivery date is off by at least a week. You'd think they'd account for USPS delays, but no. I cancelled my order because the bad delivery estimate made the order too late for the occasion. If your estimate is off by a week, I'd come up with a new formula.
Second, there is only one way to cancel an order and it is over the automated phone system. If you choose the option to check on an existing order, they ask for your card number. Because we're expected to have the number of a card we haven't received yet?!? Someone didn't bother to check the UX.
Third, there is no way to go back on their silly phone system. They ask you for a number you don't have, and there is no way to go back to the previous menu. So you get stuck in a loop of a recording treating you like you're an idiot. IT'S A TRAP! You gotta call back because that's the most efficient answer Blackhawk could come up with.
Blackhawk should get rid of this site and stick with the kiosks. The people I've met at Blackhawk are more than smart enough to realize how crappy their online system is, but I'm also positive that they don't care because online orders likely account for a tiny fraction of their revenue. Still, that's no excuse. If the cost of fixing the system is greater than the income generated by it, they should get rid of it.
Once I got a human on the line, it was easier to deal with, but their excuse for the late delivery is BS. Most other online vendors I use get their delivery estimates right, what is GiftCard.com's problem?
I must say. I cannot wait to do business with GiftCards.com again. I am very pleased with my experience. I must confess, I was freaking out to the fact that I had to provide online (not a life person) my gift card code and credit card information without getting anything back a that moment. With so many fraudulent companies out there after pressing accept terms and complete transaction my mind when $%%$$#%%^. Shortly after I received an email with the confirmation transaction and two hours after another email confirming the balance of my transaction with my payback. 24 hours after my heart was about to burst... Could wait anymore and called the customer service number. A friendly person (Jacky) advised me that the verification process would take up to 3 days. Ok, so I figure I had no other option other than wait... To my surprised at 4PM 24 hours after I had done my transaction... bum... I received a call from GiftCard.com. Stephan called to deliver wonderful news, the verification process had been completed and that on the same day my payback will be deposited into my paypal account. I figure, if this is a scam, is a damn good one because they are even calling me back providing correct info and all. So I wait a little bit longer and on the same day evening I got my funds. I was so happy that they follow with call specially when this is my first time doing this. Neither to say that I will keep them in mind all the time either to sell or buy gift cards. Awesome company. Will defensively do business again. Just and advised to everyone out there. Companies need to protect them self as well as we do. Specially with so many scams. If you are doing a transaction like this, take the best method of delivery to protect your self. Don't go cheap. Do your research and call the company before proceeding with any transactions. I choose electronic transaction and paypal instead of mailing the card and using USPS for deliver so I could monitor the entire transaction. I am happy I did it this way because in less than 48 hours I had my fund. So go for it and happy shopping. Because GiftCard.com did put a "SMILE ON MY FACE"

After 1 year of inactivity, the gift card uses $4.95 a month even when you're within the expiration date. I would not recommend this card.
I just can't see how a gift card needs to lose almost 20 of the 25 dollars because it's NOT being used, some gift!

I recently sold them my giftcard and choose to recive my money by paypal. They sent me an email saying my card is vaild but didnt send me my paypal payment. I emailed, no reply. I called, no reply.
