I had no problem getting the money put into my bank account. However, I thought I was receiving a gift certificate that could be used at the restaurant I wish to dine. I would not suggest anyone use this service. A lot of people do not like putting their bank information on line. It would be be better to give an bank gift card, i. E. Visa, even though there is a service charge.
DO NOT use this company! It is a scam. Check out the many complaints filed against them on the BBB. Why hasn't anyone shut this scam operation down?!
My daughter gifted me a $50 gift card and when I go to redeem it say it can't redirect and they will email me. No email came. I emailed them twice and no response. Just like all the other 1 star reviews state.

I put in all the info and the gift rocket would not support my major credit card. I see Q & A that the recipient can be sent the cash, but that was not an option when I redeemed the card. I am not entering my bank account number and many of the reviews for this company were not happy ones. Please either accept my credit card or send me $100.00 to my mailing address.

I wouldn't recommend this website at all. I was wary going into it from the beginning but they had a gift card to my mom's favorite store. 12 hours after I sent the gift card we got a notification it was cancelled. I questioned giftrocket and their response is very unhelpful and honestly weird. After seeing other reviews this place is definitely a scam and now I'm concerned because they have my credit card information. And the good reviews are prob bots
I received a greeting card with a gift certificate to one of my favorite restaurants from my kids. What I loved about it is you can use the intended gift or convert to other gift cards or cash. This will be a perfect for my father who is impossible to buy for. No more unused gifts cards.
I wanted to get a gift certificate for my family from out of state. I went on the restaurant's website and they didn't have an option to make a quick purchase online. I saw Giftrocket and in 5 minutes had my purchase with a nice note to send to the family. The small fee is really worth the ease!
Don't send this if you want your recipient to be able to use the gift right away. It takes 5 to 7 days to receive the gift they chose either as an eGift card or bank transfer. You can't reach anyone at customer service for assistance either.
I purchased a $20 giftcard and was charged for over $2,200. Emailed them three times and called them once (no option to actually leave a voicemail.) About five days after my emails, I saw a correction on my bank account to the correct amount and the next day they emailed me to apologize. I told my friend to not bother opening the email. I'll definitely be keeping an eye on my credit card for fraud.

I received a substantial gift through giftrocket for my participation in a focus group. Although I was hesitant at first to put in my bank info, the transaction was safely finalized 2 days later. There may have been a charge on the sender's end, but nothing on mine -- super easy to receive.

This was my first time using GiftRocket and it will now be my go-to when sending out gift cards to my friends and family! We have a friend who had gone through surgery- (who's hard to buy for). So thought a gift card for Pizza Ranch during the pandemic might be a nice gesture. So easy and the bonus was we could pick out a card and write him a personal message all done in one transaction without leaving our home. To our delight we received a thank you on Gift Rockets site from him... so we knew it was received.

I attempted to use gift rocket to send a thank you gift card to some people who have been really kind to my son during my cancer treatment and surgery over the past six months. Everything seemed fine initially until gift rocket randomly canceled the gift card and sent a vague, one sentence email to both me and the recipient of my gift card stating that the transaction had been canceled and that I had not been charged. This was incredibly weird, embarrassing and awkward for me. I had to find out what happened and my calls emails and texts went unanswered for three days. I have still never received a call back to explain why they did this, and I've still not heard anything from gift rocket other than it was canceled for "security reasons" which means nothing to me, makes no sense, and is not an adequate explanation. I've never had such a terrible experience with a gift card company and I will never use them again.
This is the easiest way I have found to send a perfect gift to someone. Especially now when we don't want to go out to shop. I say it's a perfect gift because the recipient has many choices of how they can receive their gift. They have the option to select from many popular gift cards (like Walmart & Target) or they can just have the money deposited into their bank. Whatever they choose will make them happy.
GiftRocket is a good trustworthy business. I received my money via direct deposit in the time it told me I would! Looking forward to using it again when I earn another 10,000 points on Achievemint and get awarded $10! For it!
Don't actually provide a gift card to the desired establishment. Then charge you 12$ fee which you don't know about until you are have paid!
Might have as well give a check or cash to the recipient...
PS Have offered to refund my fee... but this still does not make sense for me
Sorry for the confusion here David! Please email us ASAP for a full refund. We'd never keep a fee for a gift you didn't want. As a note, people love our cash gifts with a suggested use because there's no certificate to carry or risk losing and never any leftover or unused funds (regular gift cards are lost/wasted at about 30%!), all with the personal touch of a gift card/greeting card.
