GigSalad brings me great leads and the service is easy to use. I've always received payments as promised. The clients have all turned out to be great. I don't remember how I found GigSalad but I'm so glad I did!

I am a solo guitarist and GigSalad has been an excellent platform for me to get gigs in town. I am a professional musician and I take my work very seriously. GigSalad allows me to post photos and video so clients will know exactly what to expect from my performance. I use the free service GigSalad offers and that works fine for me. I am fortunate that people have specifically requested me for their events. All in all, GigSalad gets me gigs I wouldn't normally get!

Easy to use and has generated a good amount of business for me. Before GS entertainers had to work with party planners who would give us 50% of the fee (when we were lucky!) they charged the client. GS fees are SO REASONABLE!

I've used GigSalad for years and have always had a great experience. The customer service team is helpful and I've been able to make a nice income on the gigs I've landed. As a musician, it's awesome that I've found a platform that helps me get leads I wouldn't have found otherwise. I'd recommend them to any serious artist looking to improve their business.

DO NOT USE! Hired Marisol AKA Maria Bonilla from Goodyear az *******970. Went on Gigsalad website. Marisol responded gave her all the info. I stated for her to video part and call me after she stated ok. Maria stated she had to be paid in advance and in full thru PayPal. I agreed to $200.00 for 5 min. She called back said she needed more money for gas. I paid her extra 25.00. She said she was all set. Day before even and day of event she never responded. I had tammy at the event with her dog NO one showed up from gig salad Marisol AKA Maria Bonilla I called event they have ring doorbell no one rang door bell nor any motion except tammy walking her dog. Marisol aka Maria
Never called. I called her left messages no response she blocked number call from fax she picked up said this is her cousins phone the blocked. I wrote her on GIG salad message she blocked me and said contact gig salad They ripped me off. Beware Reading all the reviews see this happens a lot Karma is going to catch up with them

Gig salad it is a wonderful page where you can found people interested in what do you do and they really appreciate your work when you are responsible and talented. I have gotten many events through this page and and I think it has helped me a lot to increase my events!

I have been with Gigsalad for over 5 years. I have worked many, many gigs through them. I would not have stayed with them for so long if I didn't get results. I am a member of several other online booking agency's and land based Agency's. I sometime don't get as many leads through Gigsalad but I get better quality leads. More in my general area that are solid leads and solid bookings. One good solid lead is worth 10 from people just checking prices. The service portion of their organization is also up to speed. Call with a problem and they will be on it immediately. I am a professional and do nothing else but play music to make my money. If your wondering if its worth it. It is certainly worth it to me.
GigSalad provides another website presence for artist & performers to be booked. I've been a client them since 2015. I don't have a paid subscription. GigSalad allows me to be booked directly with clients them handling the payments and contracts for a small serrvice fee. I don't rely on them for my full time bookings. I'm booked several nights a week in clubs directly with the venues. You have to pay for outside bookings and reviews to appear on their site. GigSalad is one of the many tools to receive bookings hassle free.
The website makes suggestions at times during the process to communicate and to touch base with potential customers as well as with already booked customers. As a solitary kind of guy, this really helps me to be proactive on my approach.

I paid for a month of Gig Salad. It said that you could have multiple categories yet there are only a couple of categories available for photographers. During the month, I received absolutely no events to bid on. You can list on Gig Salad for free, but you are only allowed one category. Over the year or two I have been listed, I have only received about a half dozen events to bid on. Ironically, I did engage one event as a free member which I appreciate, but I won't pay $30 a month (plus any booking fees) for no events to bid on.
Gig Salad does not work for photographers.
