Highly professional, I get a lot of work from them. I have used Gig Salad for many years and even have a featured profile. I find them to be incredibly easy to communicate with and even refund money when it was taken in error. Or if the gig canceled.
It actually was time for me to renew my membership and I like to pay a year in advance. I looked at the amount of money I needed to spend, $479 and then I looked at the leads that had materialized for me and totaled up over $4000. It is definitely worth the investment!

In my experience to date, GigSalad does not reach any viable market for my band and the kind of music we offer.
We play original blues-rock, jazz, and Christian rock.
Not one of the inquiries I have received was looking for what we do.
They were always looking for something else, that we don't do.
At this point, the inquiries have become nothing but time-consuming background noise.
Apparently, GigSalad is not a good fit for GLEN FLOWERS and the STRANGERS.
I am a professional country singer and have performed in the southeast MO area for over 7 years. GigSalad has been a positive experience for me overall, I have worked with them -primarily using the Featured Membership- for over 3 years now, and have been pleased. I get a lot of leads, and I have booked thousands of dollars worth of work through the site.

I've only just started (within the last week) my membership with GigSalad. To check them out, I went with the Free Membership option although I'm already considering one of their Paid Memberships for the near future. Setting up my Profile was easy and painless. One thing I really like is the ability to request, and have posted, reviews from previous Event Coordinators (even those not booked through GigSalad). Though I have not yet received a booking through GigSalad I'm looking forward to a long, lasting and successful partnership with them.
I use GigSalad for my professiona speaking work as well as for the band I play in. The service GigSalad provides, both up-front through the website as well as behind the scenes in customer service is second to none. It's always such a thrill to receive a gig lead, and the GigSalad team are there to help make my profile as attractive as possible. As a Canadian business, I also appreciate that I am allowed to bid and get paid in Canadian dollars. My clients are too.

The website is easy to sign up for and very intuitive from a user standpoint. The clients I have encountered are always on the up and up and you don't have to worry about scams since Gigsalad changed to getting the payments upon contract agreement. Support and issues are also addressed and very timely manner and the representatives always seem understanding and knowledgable

Entering the luscious gated home for the evening was delightful. All of the money was handled through Gigsalad prior to the event, which made the event seem more professional and less "babysitter pay". Smooth, natural, and aesthetic for the following presentation. With the ambience of a grand piano, wine, and horderves, the night was pleasant and successful.

I've been using GigSalad since 2016 to book gigs for my acoustic duet (weddings, private parties, corporate events, etc.) I renew every year because it's soooo worth the cost ($300 cost vs about $5000/year in bookings)
While I don't book solely through GigSalad, they have become our best performing leads and bookings platform in terms of volume of gigs and in return on investment (ROI)
Furthermore, I have made contacts through GigSalad that have resulted in thousands of dollars of bookings after the first gig.
Their customer service is excellent and their booking service beats every competitor in our market (Dallas-Fort Worth.)
I enjoy listening and dancing to Touch of Gray Band. They do a great job of entertaining. They are just like a professional band. I moved to Arizona 12 yeas ago. When ever I hear where they are playing I make sure I attend there performance and tell my friends where they will be and how great they are.
I've used GigSalad for several years and have always been impressed with the simplicity and efficiency of their system: People seeking my services as Santa come to their site, see my listing, read my reviews -- and I end up with a slew of pre-paid, guaranteed bookings year after year.
Their program for setting up your Promo-Kit is easy to follow, their Pay-Out System is quick and painless and, no matter what level of Membership you choose to use, their fee for services rendered is totally reasonable.

Just had an awful customer service experience with GigSalad... we had to cancel an event due to Coronavirus since we live in NY suburb. The performer couldn't have been more proactive and understanding. However the GigSalad team decided to keep my booking fee and not provide a refund. In my opinion this is terrible customer service and maybe even illegal. Dollars aren't big but on principle this is something I will fight.

If you want to break the reputation of your business - Use It! If you want to humiliate your business - use it! Only for Cheap Customers who want to get Pro service for the HALF Price (usually for quarter of your regular rate!) + a Lot of Fake requests! (some times it looks that Gig Salad team does it!) I Did Mistake! I Did Big Mistake!

Most of the clients using GigSalad are planning private events so their budgets may be lower than someone booking corporate events (but we do get those leads, too). Our duo, Little Black Dress (www.LBDduo.com), has been using GigSalad for several years. I have to say with the latest interface changes and steady stream of meaningful gig opportunities, they have become our go to for getting gigs over the other guys, hands down. Even with the trials of COVID, GigSalad has continued to offer gigs when the other service has gone silent. I am really happy with the way things are running at GigSalad and look forward to future opportunities through them.
