I designed and ordered a pair of Girotti shoes. The website is awesome, very easy to use, and what a fun idea to get to create your own shoes! My order arrived to Canada sooner than expected. The shoes looked beautiful, very well made, no defects, exactly as expected, but they did not fit right on my feet. I asked for a return and remake with a changed model and size and got it approved. My new pair came to Canada in a month time, and they are gorgeous and they fit perfectly. The support person also asked that I donate the first pair to charity rather than return it. I am very happy with my shoes and with the level of service! I will definitely buy more shoes from the one and only Girotti.

Purchased a pair of boots which took over two months to arrive. Received them yesterday and they are the cheapest boots I ever own. Paid over $400.00 Canadian for a pair of boots that are worth maybe $100.00. My bad for not doing my research prior to ordering. This is why I am doing this review so others can learn rom my mistakes. SCAM SCAM SCAM Stay far away from this company. That is all I have to say...

Garbage company. Terrible response time. They took my money and didn't honor their return policy or offer a refund. PayPal was of no help either, because I kept getting put off by the company and gave them the benefit of the doubt that they would make good on what they promised. The time for dispute ellapsed with PayPal, another garbage service. Lesson learned. Don't make the same mistake. Think twice about doing business outside of the States, but definitely DON'T do business with Girotti. If this posting seems harsh, you would be upset too if you lost $200 USD.

Do not order from this company. I placed my order on February 11,2023, and after several emails to the company I still have not received the shoes. Proof of purchase is below. If I could I would have given Girotti zero stars.

I love the shoes but after a grand total of 7-8 hours of wear they have begun falling apart and deteriorating in 8 different spots. It is VERY difficult to find a general customer service section on their website and no one responds anyway. You only have 30 days (from the day you purchase) to return and that's up for debate. It took around 3 weeks to receive them so a refund would be off the table anyway after one more week. $220 may be chump change to others but that's a LOT of money to me. I never ever spend a lot of money on shoes for myself so this is really disheartening.
I'm pretty sure I'll be one of the many that will have to eat that money are just stuck with shoes they can't wear…. SHAME shame on this company. DO NOT BUY FROM GIROTTI… unless you enjoy standing over a toilet dropping money in and flushing.

I purchased a pair of boots in October from this company and realized it's December and I haven't received my boots yet. I looked it up and it said it was delivered. Upon calling the company, the young lady said the shipping company said they were unable to deliver the boots and the boots are on their way back. But, don't worry ai will receive an email in 1 day in telling me about when to expect my refund. Instead I got an email saying they will not refund me my money because it was a problem with the shipping company. Here's the problem I didn't hire the shipping company they chose to use that shipping company. These people are a complete fraud and rip off! Don't purchase anything from them.

Paid £150 for a pair of substandard shoes that were far too narrow. Trying to get return information from Girotti was IMPOSSIBLE. Tried to get my money refunded to my PayPal account but they were having none of it too. Please, do not give this company your cash. They are charlatans!

do not use. customer service (like their product) is abysmal

Honestly, I bought two pairs, they are nice and I always receive compliments about them. They are stylishly cool, but be sure of your size before buying them. Mines are one inches longer than expected, like I have 43 european size on all my shoes, but Girotti's ones was a bit longer. So, I bought Dr Scholl's sole to compensate, it works well. Except that, what I bought is what I got. I am satisfied.

Be sure of the size you are buying.

Never buy in this online shop. The service is terrible especially when you want to send the shoes back, because they don't fit. Basically they request information after information to never accept the return. Don't buy by them.

Girotti advertises free returns but I was charged $225 from fedex and girotti refused to pay it. I used downloaded mailing label and sent back shoes unworn. They claim a mistake on mailing label which they acknowledge but never correct. Stay Away!

I purchased shoes from the website to wear at an upcoming wedding (two months time). The shoes looked nice from the website and they advertised free returns. The shoes arrived after 4.5 months, so too late for the wedding. Although they look like they were made nice, the shoes were too narrow to fit on my feet. I contacted them about the free return and they stated that there were lots of caveats to the easy free return. After 3 months of fighting with them, they said they would accept a return, but then never followed up. I had to go thru my bank to finally get my money back. It was a huge ordeal and not worth the effort. I DO NOT RECOMMEND buy anything from this company! Since I couldn't wear the shoes, I donated them to a homeless shelter. What a waste of time & effort!

Tip for consumers:
DO NOT BUY FROM THEM unless you know that they do not take returns despite saying that they do.

Alarm bells ringing initially within days of order...bogus email and un-navigable "registration" process (possibly to obtain passwords?) with "change" to order.
Do not place order with this "company" which is not registered...will report to ACCC

I ordered 1 pair of shoes with silver heal and 1 pair of sandals 1 year ago
After cca 4 months I received the shoes that were with 1 size smaller. I told them about it and they said that I must take my size by measuring my foot. I did and I received a pair of sandals larger in front with 1cm. I cannot return the sandals because they said that already was started the 1st pair when I said the shoes were small. Now after 1 year they told me that they can't make anymore my shoes because they don't have anymore the heal requested by me. They also asked a bank account where to transfer the money. I gave them all the info about my bank. Today I received an answer asking me which Routing to use? I am wondering if they are Italians? I lived in Italy 10 years and I didn't meet such people.
I not even know to who to complain? Do you know if I can complain to Guardia Di Finanza?

I am not using anything. The sandals are good only in length. The shoes were smaller 1 size. They told me they will refund because they don't have anymore the heal that I ordered in January.
I didn't receive the refund and after I told them , they said to send them the info from my bank account. After that they said they don't know which Routing to use. I told them to ask their bank.
I am so upset with these people. I didn't expect this behavior from a country as Italy. These people are a shame for Italy !

I ordered 3 pair of shoes. The shoes I ordered were for a big event. They did not arrive in time. They informed me that they did come in time! No they did not! They did not accept any returns. GIROTTI has very poor customer services and an awful business plan!

First off… these shoes look and feel beautiful.
But they do not fit.
I measured my foot and used my existing sizes on my shoes (43 and wide) and the size was wrong.
Yes, I am outside the 14 day return policy (which I wasn't aware of and clearly missed) and received them while I had Covid and didn't try looking at them or trying to do a return/exchange until I was better. I tried to contact them around 20 days after receiving them and they would not budge on return/exchange.
Stating " impossible for us to bypass the system restrictions for returns, so as much as we'd like to offer the exchange, we won't be able to."
They offered me a discount:
"Please accept our apologies in this case, and the following promo code for 10% off your next Girotti order: Girotti2022"
I will not be using it and I am out of pocket $304 aus dollars. Such a shame because I was interested in buying more but can't support poor customer service.

Okay… but the first pair of shoes I ordered from Girotti Custom-made shoes arrived today and I CANNOT! As much as I should not have spent this much money, designing and having shoes custom-made, I just can't bring myself to feel regret. Just … look at them! LOOK. AT. THEM! I wanted shoes to match my blue suit, my grey suit, and my black suit, with a spot of "oh… maybe that's a bit much, Erick" added too them (thus the metallic silver quarters). They came out even better than I thought they would!

Super thankful to my wife who showed me Girotti. I ordered 6 pair, 5 of them arrived on time. I had problem with the last pair but Girotti was super responsive and help me to return my shoes, also they send the right pair super fast and in 2 weeks I had my shoes. Fabulous!

I was sent the incorrect size and the quality wasn't great. When I tried to return them I was told this service wasn't available at the time. I still have them! However I finally managed to talk to customer service and they said they would send me the correct size. I still have not received them and now no one will return my calls. I believe this company is a scam. Do not buy from them!

I order a pair of Shoes in size 9 they came in a size 10.5 at least, shoes are way to big and cut funny, With a very high and painful cut that hits the anckle. Tried to get my money back denied me, now Ive been trying to get a different size, they have blocked all my numbers and will not take my calls. If I could tell you anything please do not purchase anything from this company, I do not have the words as a pastor that would properly convey my HATE of this COMPANY and their practices.

Girotti Shoes are not worth the exorbitant prices they charge. The leather material used looks synthetic and the sole of the shoes l bought is totally rubbish. I was looking for a gòod welted shoe sole but rather a light weight sole.
You can't fault their shoe design but the price and materials are not worth it.
It takes a long time for their items to be delivered. No one should believe their hype that, the shoes are bespoke shoes. Crap materials

Colours are much lighter which I don't mind. But the sides bulge out, a bad fit. The suede is not good quality either. CAD$140 definitely not worth it. Online shopping is risky.

Buyer Beware! Non standard sizing, then they staff tells you it's your fault not theirs! TERRIBLE customer service. I purchased a size 12 and the toe was extremely tight. I returned the shoes and asked for an exchange, they asked me to measure my foot and when I sent them my measurements they told me I ordered the wrong size and the mistake was mine. EVERY OTHER PAIR of shoes I own is a size 12! If I could choose a negative rating I would give them a -10!
