Unhackable. I wont ever swtich back to yahoo again - it was stolen from me like ten or fifteen times...
I recently moved from an ATT Yahoo account to Gmail. My main reason for doing so was that Yahoo had got so s l o w in recent months that I was fed up with it. I am running slow equipment by modern laptop standards, but still netbook-speed, and I am pretty fed up with online apps and sites which have no need of speed being over-enhanced when a simple UI would do just as well. Or I could just be getting old and grumpy, who knows. Yahoo doesn't even have a flashy interface, but it was still way too slow.
Gmail is a lot faster, no doubt about that. And that's the only good thing I can think of to say about it. I have to agree with the adverse comments of most other reviewers, much as I'd like to be more positive.
I've had to switch to the plain interface, rather than the default one, not so much because the default one was too slow but I just couldn't be bothered to work out what I was supposed to do with it.
I do miss having folders and don't agree with Google that the labeling system is better. Actually I don't like being told that something is better and I should get used to it; I prefer to make my own call on that.
Threaded conversations are potentially useful, I'll give it that, but still confusing to newcomers. I'd like to have the option to keep them or just turn them off.
Perhaps, I just don't do enough email to really get the best out of Gmail - I do get the impression that it's designed for business people with humungous volumes of mail largely grouped in lengthy back-and-forth conversations, and I'm not one of those (thankfully).
On the whole it's a disappointing experience, because I expected it to be a level above Yahoo's offering. I'll stay with it, because it's speedy and I'm using a 1.2Ghz notebook right now. It matters. But if Yahoo stops messing around with enhancements and offers an equally fast UI, I'll be tempted to go back, for sure.
For me, it's the best email client. Hope they will not change their interface much in the future...

Love everything about it. It's intuitive, simple, efficient. Easy on the eye. The real deal.
We originally booked flights to Hawaii pre-pandemic and unfortunately the flights were cancelled. Since the pandemic has subsided and international flights have been reinstated, we have attempted to use our credit to book another holiday and flights. For the past month, we have been attempting to use our credit and was told that we could only use one of the credits and that there would be a fee on top again for their time. The second credit was closed off and we were told to chase the credit with Qantas. We then contacted Qantas and told that they had no record of our credit (ticket). So WEBJET LIED. We continued for another 3 weeks of contacting Webjet and speaking with different employees and departments to no avail. No person in Webjet could fix the credit problems we were having and told then had the hide to tell us that we could not speak with anyone regarding the credits until Qantas advised us of the current cancellation of the credit. WEBJET LIED AGAIN. We contacted Webjet yet again to try and sort this matter out and book our new flights. After 2 1/2 hours of being on the phone, again we were told that we needed to sort this matter out ourselves with Qantas. So we paid Webjet to book flights originally, and obtained credits when the Pandemic hit, but when we went to use our credit, who is with Webjet, they tell us that one credit has been closed off and the they add a fee to second credit for their booking? DO NOT TRUST WEBJET and NEVER EVER USE WEBJET! They will lie to you and and only tell you something that is of a false nature. They obtained a portion of the booking fees but you will be left with a lot of follow up and nothing but drama from then onwards. PLEASE DO NOT USE WEBJET, they are by far the worst company we have ever dealt with.

I have been a full-time freelance writer for three years now and I have been on Fiverr for about two years now with relative success because Ive been able to maintain a 97% satisfaction rate over the last year. However over the last three months work on this site has been a bit slow and if it wasnt for other permanent clients which I have, things would not have been so good.
However over the last two months I have encountered a new situation regarding Fiverr and that is that clients for whom I have done work three or four months ago is suddenly raising disputes on PayPal and then money which has been paid on orders, which has been delivered a long time ago is then claimed back without anyone asking me for my opinion about these matters.
My problem with this is, that this is orders which has been settled a long time ago and those buyers already had the opportunity to review my work during the three days which is allowed for the review of deliveries and none of them has a voiced any objection on those deliveries which has been made by me. However after the passing of three or more months they are now able to raise disputes on PayPal and the money which was already paid to me is then paid back to the buyer by Fiverr without anyone consulting with me.
The problem that I have with this is that this is leaving the way open for any buyer to raise a dispute at any time in the future on any delivery which has been done in the past and then Fiverr will honor their dispute without consulting with me as the seller. This can potentially lead to a situation where every dollar which I have earned on Fiverr could be claimed back by buyers and there is nothing that I can do about that situation. This hardly seems fair or ethical and it is making it very difficult for freelance writers which is making use of this site.
I believe that the three days which is allowed for revisions of deliveries should be legally binding on both the seller and the buyer and buyers which has not made use of those reviewing times should not be able to raise disputes on PayPal such as has been happening to me frequently over the last two months. In fact it has happened at least 8 to 10 times with me already and even though those claims only represent about $50, with the exchange rate that converts to a lot of South African rands which is why working on this site has been worthwhile to me so far.
This is why Im very concerned about the situation and I believe this is something which will have to be addressed by administrators on Fiverr and some solution will have to be found for this troubling situation.
Love the site. Always professional care. Will surely visit this site again soon
I like gmail better then any other email service i have ever used.
