I canceled my Outlook email account hosted by GoDaddy months ago to move to a Google-based domain specific email. Then I realized they had auto-renewed my "plan" with Microsoft 365 (including all their extra security "add-ons" for the non-existent email) as of 8/8/23. I didn't see that auto-renewal immediately and when I did finally see it, I contacted them about a refund for the "security add-ons" for the non-existent emails. That was the point at which they advised me FOR THE FIRST TIME that I couldn't keep my Microsoft 365 account without an email hosted by GoDaddy, so I had to scramble to set up an alternate Microsoft 365 account. When that was set up, I contacted them for a full refund for both the Microsoft 365 account and the extra bells and whistles for the non-existent account, and they refused a refund because I didn't request the refund within 30 days of the auto-renewal that was THEIR FAULT. So I am out over $300 for accounts that they renewed without my permission and that I can't use!
I use GoDaddy for domains and their smartline service which i use as a business line. Their prices are very reasonable and great customer service.
My experience goes back to year 2001. Very good prices, excellant domain designer. Still doing business today.
I consistently register my domain name thru GoDaddy because its easy and priced right. Have tried others but they didnt measure up.
GoDaddy has some nice choices of domain names with interesting extensions that can be used quite creatively. Prices aren't super great.
They renewed my products automatically, charged $2,800 for 2yrs that I didn't want. Refuse to refund the money
Everything has problem, login for cPanel, WHM root access. There arent any stabill work. I lost my full working day without any result.
I bought a domain name back in 2014 only to get extremely frustrated when every time I tried to login it never recognized my login details. I tried calling customer service but they refused to help as apparently they didn't have my details on file.
I ended up having to walk away from this site and try and find another one.
We are not in 2016 and I get a message from PayPal that Go Daddy is going to debut $50.48 out of my account. I never received an email or letter to day anything about this.
Once again, I tried to call and they refused to help because I didn't have a 4 digit pin. And I was not able to log in.
The funds can put, i sent an email requesting that they be refunded and I put a transaction disputed through PayPal.
It turns out that they are no longer accepting emails and they refused to help me over the phone.
MY ONLY ADVICE TO EVETYONE IS TO STAY AWAY FROM GODADDY. THEY WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY WITHLUT YOUR KNOWLEDGE OR AUTORIZATION ANS YOU WILL NECER SEE IT AGAIN AS ALL YOU WILL GET IS A BRICK WALL.
Support is not good, Godaddy is fraud company, Godaddy just Advertise more, bad experience, if you choose go daddy you will regret later
They took $69.99 from me for a domain name they later came back and said they could "broker" for me for a minimum of $7,500.00. ABSOLUTELY A SCAM
Answer: Do not use this company. Go daddy excessive fees, will keep adding fees claiming lack of security, and also has a policy that will ask for private information such as passport, license if you ever change your phone number even though they will talk to you on the phone.
Answer: We offer an easy to use E-Commerce website builder. Here is a link where you can sign up for a free trial: https://www.godaddy.com/websites/online-store
Answer: Did you have any luck with this. We have been ripped off by them for 4 years and have only just succeeded in closing the account. Thanks for posting.
