Goetl was fantastic. They came to our home within just a few hours of calling immediately scheduled for a new ac unit. It was installed in just a short 6 to 7 hours and our home is cool and feels great. The technician Ardian was very kind and knowledgeable went out of his way to make sure we had cool air as quickly and efficiently as he could. And thank you to the staff at Goetl. Will definitely be coming back for your services and I'm telling all my friends and family what a great company you are
Horrible experience with an brand new HVAC system totaling over 20K. Nothing but problems. Installed in February and now broken. Reporting them everywhere, including the BBB. We are now looking into legal action. Stay far away from this Goettl!
Please avoid this company. The two guys who came to unclog my bathroom sink. 1 of them who did all the talking had a very bad attitude and after waiting 10 minutes for an estimate he wanted $326 to unclog the bathroom sink. 18 months ago I used this same company and they charged me $80 for unclogging the same bathroom sink. This guy tried to rip me off. Had to tell them both to get off my property. Also reporting them to BBB. If you want to get ripped off then go ahead and use them.

I highly do not recommend Goettl to anyone! They sold me a lemon 2 years ago and I have nothing but problems with it and now I'm out 10,000 for the purchase and another 881.00 for repairs.
My name is Farris H. Burke, I would like to thank James and Benton, the two technicians from Goettl heating and cooling, that came to my home due to a heating issue I was having with my furnace. As a team they did a great job diagnosing the problem I was having with my furnace and repairing it. Both were very professional, came earlier than expected and now I have heat. THANK YOU SO MUCH!
Elvin & Kevin were the Technicians that installed the drain in a very professional manner. I was very pleased with their work. I would recommend them anytime.

I've use them in the past so this time I signed up for a yearly made two different appointments one for plumbing one for HVAC sure enough as I was warned the HVAC one was canceled due to "a big emergency job "then a week later the plumbing job got canceled due to a big emergency job. Kind of ironic they always seem to have big emergency jobs and cancel. Better to go with Parker and Sons.

My technician Art, showed up promptly, was respectful, honest and trustworthy, did not try to sell me something I did not need, and I will definitely be using Goettl Air again because of this technician!

Installed AC and furnace in July 2021. Rec'd call from city of Peoria that the final inspection was never requested. I notified Goettl. I paid $38.50 to extend permit. I arranged for city inspector to come to my residence for the inspection. Never any help from Goettl! The inspection failed. Again contacted Goettl and requested that they make necessary repairs and refund my $38.50. A lot " oh sorry, we don't operate that way, we will make it right, blah blah". This all started when I first notified Goettl of the problem in May of 2022. It is now nearing August and still no return of $38.50 and no repair of failed inspection. All you get from Goettl is a bunch of "we'll take care of it" but nothing ever happens. I will NEVER use Goettl again even to change a filter because they will probably screw it up and never fix their error. I paid a premium price to get what I thought would be a premium service and just got bottom of the barrel service.

My air conditioner broke and needed a complete replacement. SEVEN visits later, I was told the unit was installed incorrectly and needed to be uninstalled and reinstalled again. Do yourself a favor and USE ANOTHER COMPANY!
DO NOT give this company your business, they simply do not care about their customers. It was all hugs and kisses with they were selling me the Concierge Package but that was the last time I received any customer service.
- First phone call in to dispatch was answered by an incredibly rude and unprofessional woman who really couldn't be bothered with helping me.
- I had a spring/summer AC rejuvenation scheduled for early March but had to cancel due to a family emergency. When I called to reschedule, I was told the first available appointment was in September. Keep in mind this is part of the Concierge Package I paid in advance for.
- Had a plumber come out in April to provide an estimate to install a new water heater and run a gas line to the pool heater. It took a month for the estimate to be emailed (I had to call and remind them) and still have not received the financing information I requested.
- Brought these grievances to the attention of a manager named Roscoe who assured me that as soon as we got off the phone dispatch would be calling me to schedule an appointment. Two days went by with no call and when I did call in to let him know, six days went by with no return call (I had to call him back).
- Roscoe then promised me the Plumbing Manager would be at my home on 08/30 at 1pm to straighten everything out. It is now 2pmno Plumbing Manager and no phone call. I took half a day off to be here.
This is some of the worst customer service I have ever experienced and sorry Goettl, a gift card to my favorite steak house will not fix this. You've lost a customer.
First of all I gave it more than a 1 star because a couple of the service guys have been really great. The main reason for the 2 stars is the company itself.
After my husband passed away I ended up needing a new system. I told them I am on a fixed income. $12,000 later there is always something that wasn't done correctly the first time. All I had done originally was to sign up for the twice a year service. The same day I did that is when I found out that I needed a whole new system. Well they don't include an every 6 month service and they kept trying to make me pay for the every 6 mos membership right after I bought a brand new system. I bought a brand new system for a 2300 sq ft home for $5500 down in San Antonio about 6 years ago. This house is only 1800 sq ft and it cost almost 12K and no 6 mos check up. When I have told other people how much they charged for the new A/C for a 1800 sq ft home they couldn't believe it. I feel they took advantage of a recent widow and that is wrong. They did finally quit trying to charge me for the Sadie club membership. Their saying is "they will do it the right way not the easy way" but so far i am not seeing that. Jarod and Carlos have both been great. The original group of 8 didn't do so hot. They left locks off of the system when the inspector came by. All in all... there are others out there.

The guys that came out to the house were nice and helpful, but unfortunately the admin side of the business is absolute trash. We got scammed into signing up for their monthly drain unclogging service (several people in the house and a lot of pets, so it made sense!)
The guys came out to unclog one of our drains and it turns out that our monthly subscription for unclogging drains does not cover this particular type of clog in our drain... I wish we were told that there were stipulations for types of clogs that were unacceptable when we were sold into it and signed the contract over the phone. We contacted administration and they confirmed that we would have to pay them full price to unclog this particular type of clog. We requested to just cancel our subscription due to the fact that we were never told of these stipulations. MANY days later we get a voicemail saying that they can cancel our subscription but they would have to charge us $150 fee which would be the same cost to finish out the year with our subscription... I will strongly discourage anyone in need of plumbers not to trust these scammers.

I will stop being a customer as soon as my current service agreement expires. During a recent hot water heater service ( 7. 31. 20) visit which is part of the package I purchased I was shown an anode rod that needed to be replaced. Yes, it needed to be replaced. My frustration was that every single time a Goettl service person visits there is always additional work that needs to be done that is not covered by the already paid for agreement. At first I said no, just put everything back. I stopped myself and said the tank is empty, power is off and the old rod is already removed... How much to put a new one in right now? Keep in mind the rep was either going to screw the old rod in or the new one. Exact same step. The answer...$295.- plus tax. To frame that for everyone the flexible aluminum rod the service person had in his hand and was proposing to put in goes for $25.32 at Home Depot. The service person was going to have to screw the old rod back in if I said no to the $300.- additional charge. The tank was empty, the power was off, all part of the service contract. I gave 2 representatives at the Goettl office the opportunity to explain how that $300.- quote could be justified. Surely it was a mistake. Tell me I am wrong to be upset. I was told the quote was correct and that Goettl charges more because of the quality of their work and that the rod would have been guaranteed. The manufacturer guarantees the rod and on top of that the rod is supposed to deteriorate, that is its job. Stay away, do not allow yourself to be pressured or conned by this " we are family owned and operated good old boys". Every time I hear their radio ad now I mumble obscenities.
Meh with Donald service technician and he was so helpful in explaining the service of my new water heater. He was professional and courteous.
