Go fund me decided that the cause I donated to had unacceptable views and suspended all funds.
Seeing the extremists have used this site I am shocked and saddened and not sure I will ever use their services again.
So sorry to see this happen

Regardless of their political allegiance they have no right to do what they did. They have done nothing but cause concern as to whether their platform works for everyone. If you don't align with their rhetoric they may shut you down. Never again will I donate through GoFundMe.

I had several challenges with withdrawing funds due to the fact that my country, Barbados, isnt supported by Gofundme. Their agents were very helpful along the way, providing clear, step-by-step guidance and suggestions to make this work. Their response time is great and when it was going to be longer than normal, they told me up front.

Wasted over an hour now trying to verify using a code sent via text. Also tried having them call me. Nothing is working. Super frustrated that they can't get their $#*! together. This shouldn't be this hard.

Stay away. They will take your money and give it to causes they deem appropriate.
The convoy to Ottawa raised over 10 million and got shut down. Why? Your company should be ashamed of itself. I'll never donate to them again and will never look at this company the same again. Very disappointed in their actions

Their website was super easy to use. Their security measures are well thought out and enforced.

I was thrilled to be able to set up a gofundme for my friends LaVonne & Mike, whose dog was hit by a car that just drove away. Who could do that?! Jibs has 2 pelvic fractures and a fractured hip, surgery is up in the $5000 range and there was no way LaVonne could pay this... she's on disability because of a car accident several years ago.

In just a day, gofundme raised $1050! We are on our way! This is hopefully enough for the down payment for the vet. And more comes in every day!

Can't THANK the gofundme folks for their help and excellent customer support! YOU ROCK!

Quick and easy. Got my problem fixed within 2 hours of inquiry. Their FAQs are very good ones too. Not stupid questions that anyone with common sense could figure out. My question was there and I got help and they took it even a step further. Very rare to find human help this quick and prompt and helpful. Thank you for such an intuitive website and for using real people to resolve issues.

Let me begin by thanking Rosa C. & Lauren S. For their superior on line customer service. GoFundMe makes fund raising very easy and these two customer happiness team members took that anticipated of customer service to yet a higher level. They consistently responded well within 30 minutes of the team service goals.

There are of course a few aspects of the site that are not necessarily intuitive, even more so for the old geezer like me, but they patiently assisted me through all aspects of getting my combat wounded service member https://www.gofundme.com/chris-andrieu campaign underway.

This company will $#*! down and withold your funds based on rumors and not facts. Even more shocking is that they will then donate the funds to a charity of their choosing unless every donor request a refund. Avoid at all costs.

Oh my gosh! This company represented that funds being collected were for the truckers convoy. It was clear from the onset that this is a social justice convoy, fighting for our right to freedom from tyranny. This movement is of the people, for the people! Gofundme has frozen the funds and is now perpetuating lies that the convoy is violent and is anti-Canadian. You, Gofundme, has shown yourself to be anti-Canadian! How absolutely deplorable to suggest that the monies collected for the truckers will be disbursed to "other charities". You are criminals carrying out the wishes of an immoral, corrupt and tyrannical government. We are so very disappointed and angry. I will never EVER contribute to a fundraiser on your platform again. You have totally shown yourselves to be disreputable, untrustworthy, and completely lacking in moral fibre. You are nothing more than a political pawn. Shameful!

I had trouble receiving funds because my email had been used for a prior go fund me account. When I figured it out I contacted the help people and received a quick and friendly response! My issue was solved quickly! Thanks!

My campaign didn't do what I expected, but GoFundMe gave exceptional customer service. I emailed them with questions, and got a response in record time. They are also courteous and efficient.

I plan to try my campaign again in the future.

I recently used GoFundMe to reach out to people when my brother was about to lose his house. He was suffering with chronic Lyme Disease and hadn't been able to raise the money to pay back taxes. In a very short time people began to donate and we were able to raise enough money to save his house from a sheriff's sale. The funds were available within 2 business days. I am full of gratitude not only to the folks who donated, but to the GoFundMe organization which makes it so easy, through their website, to create and share a campaign for a cause. The results are miraculous!

I have difficulty navigating all the ins and outs of techno-babble and the how to stuff, and they were quick to get back to me which I really appreciated. There are still some things about the layout and glut of removing past campaigns that annoys me (I get confused with too much on my screen) but overall I am pleased.

I impulsively left a comment on someone's gofundme which I later regretted, but when I went to remove it I found that there was no way for me to edit my own comment! I was a little upset and there was nothing in FAQ about how to do it. I emailed them and someone got back to me within the hour. They found the site and removed my comment for me.It took less than 2 hours. Good job guys! (However, I think that should be changed so that a person can edit their own comments :) )

This team quickly responded to an error I made. I asked for a refund; that it was urgent and within minutes I got a response and more importantly the resolution I needed. I now know that "GoFundMe" has a legitimate team who is reachable 24/7 and will help if any issues arise. I highly recommend dealing with them It was a pleasure.

This page was real dear to my heart and it hurt me rhat i was not able to reach out to other social outlets to help donate money for these 4 boys whom lose thier father

In my opinion, these puppets at gofundme, refuse to give this great Canadian convoy their money because of police and political interference in a great cause. Those who choose to do this should all lose their jobs.

These people are liars and thieves! To just shut down a huge platform ( Freedom Convoy 2022) and tell donors that they have a couple of weeks to request a refund or THEY will decide where that money will be donated?!? That's criminal! Hard working Canadians donated to something THEY chose. It's not GFM's right to now reallocate a single dime.

That money should automatically be refunded without anyone having to lift a finger.

I contacted customer service with an issue and was pleasantly surprised at how quickly they responded and resolved my issue. This customer service experience gives me confidence to donate via Gofundme. Thanks all.

This is a platform that takes people's hard earned money and won't release it to the original organizers. Instead of automatically refunding the millions of dollars to the donors they are giving the money to another organization that against the donors wishes. Please don't waste your time and energy with this company because they will screw you in the end. Horrible experience. Please use another crowd funding platform.

They politically pick and choose who gets to use their service. If someone in " their"
Eyes is the victim then their service is allowed to be used. Very Very inconsistent…. In some cases Convicted Felons get to have an account and i other case a True victim is denied service this happens all the time. Would Never Ever use such a biased service…. Would never ever donate a penny through this service. So many other more honest, transparent and consistent services out their that do exactly the the same thing. In recent cases you have the Accused to be allowed an account but not the victim. And in most cases if their are politics involved your company picks a view point/side and that person is allowed service while the other is not…
