GoFund me is holding 11 million dollars of other peoples money designated for the freedom truckers.

Do NOT use GoFund me they are not good stealing money from rightful donors to a cause we all believe in.

There are many many Legit company's to use that are not going to hold your money

When I first tried to set up my GoFundMe I was not able to complete creating my campaign. Thankfully, I reached out to a customer service representative and they had the issue resolved with a very reasonable time.

DON NOT USE, there is no safety on your donations. They are allow you to change the recipient at any time so that the money can be taken by anyone. My cousin Adam Chawla had a Gofundme his funeral but his evil dole dosser ex took the money after the organiser changed it. So nobe of the money went to the funeral and gofundme will not refund despite it going against their guarantees.

This was the first time i used the gofundme to donate money, I was supporting the trucker's convoy in Canada. The amount raised got so important that gofund me proceeded to seize all the money that was donated because they did not agree with the cause claiming it was violent when it so far has been a completly peaceful protest. I am allowed to reclaim the money I donated, but for those who don't, they will take it and use it as they see fit because the trucker's cause did not agree with their agenda. I am horrified by this abuse, and I will not be using this platform again and will warn all my friends and family away from this biased platform. I will look to other platforms for future donations.

Couldn't find the go fund me page for my brother, sent my distressed message to cs and got a rapid return asking for more information, less than 24hrs, and over the weekend I was on his page. Thanks for the great service.

Megan was absolutely amazing in helping me with my issues.My wife and I are YouTubers. We're trying to keep our private information as private as possible. We're trying to raise money for my dog that needs surgery and the majority of our donors are YouTuber subscribers that don't know our last name. Megan was able to help with that. She walked me through the process step by step, through all the questions that I had, and I had many. With Megan's help, we were able to keep our information private which was whole purpose of asking for help.

I was happy to contribute recently to a very worthy cause spear-headed by the local branch of a trusted children's educational non-profit, First Five. They were soliciting donations through the crowd funding company, Go Fund Me. While I was going through the steps to add my donation, I noticed an additional request to "include a tip" to the Go Fund Me organization. I opted not to click on this unexpected add-on, but when my account was billed, they had added a hefty "tip" to the amount I had chosen. I wrote to the Go Fund Me company expressing my objection to their billing me beyond what I had agreed to pay, but they never responded. In future, I don't plan to share funds again via this company, Go Fund Me.

You have disgraced the people of Canada that are only asking for freedoms that they shouldn't have to ask for.

You have taken money that belongs to the tens of thousands of truck drivers fighting for those freedoms shame on you gofundme

The site is extremely easy to navigate and set up. The site also includes videos to demonstrate how to use the site.
Though my attempt to raise money for the woman to have a double lung transplant, GoFundMe kept me updated on my progress, and then when it became apparent that I was not going to meet the goal set GoFundMe advised me on how to dismantle the site. I would definitely use GoFundMe should I ever need to raise money again.

This company is a joke. Do NOT use. I have been trying to get my nephews money because he is paralized now fro. ATV wreck and needs new bed for getting up easier, a lift, wheelchair, etc. They still have his funds and are holding them. We have tried uploading bank info10 times now only to be given a different excuse each time. You cant reach anyone except online and they reply when its convenient for them. I would never recommend gofundme and I will never donate to their fund again. Set up your own bank account with the beneficary on a debit card. No hoops and no one can hold your money. Do not use this sites. They are a rip off. They get interest in their banks the longer they hold everyones money. Why do you think there are so many complaints on holding money. Look at the bbb they are rated 1. Please save yourself the headache.

Donated to a cause funds were never received by the intended cause, refund was difficult and slow. Do not trust with your donation, use a more reputable crowd funding site

Go fund me has made decisions in line with political affiliations. My donations are not to be scrutinized be people that work for Go Fund Me. Who in the HELL made them GOD! TThink long and hard begore you use this platform!

In France, a policeman voluntarily shot a north-african 17 yo during a random car control: because the policeman hit him with his gun at the head (after menacing him to shot him multiple times during the control), the child relaxed the foot off the pedal and lost the control of the automatic vehicle "justifying" shooting him in the head.

A far right notorious openly racist politician rose a gofundme for "the family" of the policeman after his arrest for voluntary homicide, raising 1 million euros. The gofundme is still not cancelled to this day. GoFundMe chose to say that the money will go to the family and not the murderer (yes, sure! When your wife has 1 000 000 euros, you will obviously never see the money). GoFundMe allows fundraising for murderers. Next what? They will allow fundraising for the family of p*dophiles? Shame on this company to endorse racist crimes. Why they chose not to cancel it? Maybe because they will make mini 30k off of it.

How to become a millionnaire? Shoot a non-white kid in the head and use gofundme to "support your family"!

GoFundMe didn't cancel Black Lives Matter fundraisers when it was clear the associated riots had become violent yet unlawfully cancelled the fundraiser for the peaceful trucker convoy in Canada even attempting to redirect the finds to only GoFundMe approved charities (until the overwhelming backlash caused them to reverse course and issue refunds to everyone). They are biased and cannot be trusted. Use GiveSendGo instead

I find it highly unethical and hypocritical and probably unlawful for GOFundMe to withhold funds for Canadian citizens exercising their right to protest Covid mandates. BLM and Anita never had their bail money taken away even though they looted and burned buildings. I will never use or donate to anyone using GoFundMe again.

This was the third csmpaign I have work with through GoFund Me. Ths time we ran into a snag because our attirney asked us to take it down. I received a quick, courteous and kind response. Money was refunded and site removed. I was impressed!
