Honestly dont recommend using this company and wasting your time. This is a scam and goldmoney is all about blocking your accounts after you spend days trying to get reach them via their customer service. Once you put the money in the account they make it almost impossible to do business with this company. If you enjoy not having to hit you head on the wall don't recommend this company
Im a real user, im an american from Cali, i dont work for goldmoney, im not a paid reviewer from bang $#*!, or some $#*! like that, when i first got in with the apple app i thought great it was so easy to set up and get gold, a secure investment from economic doom, no mention of fees, thought the bank stuff was saved and ready for a withdraw when things go bad, no mention of fees, now they drained all the money in my account, i dont have the minimum to withdraw, i cant add more to meet the minimum to withdraw and they deleted my bank info, i think i added it back but now i have to change a personal account to something else? Like what the $#*!? What do i need to turn it into? Class $#*!ing lawsuit, they $#*!ing robbed me and im sure others!

Bought a small amount of vaulted silver 2 months ago on the assumption of the fee structure advertized, and was today informed that the fees are being massively increased to the point where fees will wipe out the entire value of my money in a few years - outrageous - I am now redeeming all of my gold held with this company - do not trust them.

As of today, 20-01-2020, my account page was made un-accesssible.
Although I received part of my credit, there is still an amount due.
From the first amount there was 1. A transfer fee deducted + 2. "a fee by an other bank or financial" (not my bank). So I was heavily charged for leaving this "Pirate ship".
Somehow it reminds me of Barry Dyke's book: Pirates of Manhattan. These ones are from Canada.

Goldmoney is top. I have a card with them- works like dream. Upload your card and off you go shopping, spend your grams. Recently i have tried to send myself physical coins from them too. No problem, i received those shiny ones here in europe in about 2-3 days.
I find many of these comments simply not true. It is true that it takes long time to get yourself verified by the them. But once you are through- you get yourself a Gold Standard Service!

I contacted them 5 times already and, when they reply, they keep saying the verification is being done and they will contact me if they need more documents. I read negative reviews regarding the ability to sell gold and withdraw. I did a test, sold some gold, and withdrew in less than a day. Perhaps some people are having issues with the legal requirements of the country you live in because it seems pretty straightforward to me.

They are inaccessible. They only respond with pre-printed emails. Their support is awful. So far, I have not been able to get my money back and liquidate my account. They don't answer the phone. You can only leave a message. I have been trying to liquidate my account for 3 weeks, (filled in all the forms online. I even got a response that they got the message and to give them a few days). Now I get a new email saying I didn't request redemption, and to read their FAQ. What a CROCK!

It's fine to complain but now is the time to act before they go under? They must have locked in millions in USD so legal action seems the only way to make those accountable go to jail, lose what they own and settle up. Any legal people able to assist?
I am also a victim of this company's insanely high account fees and extortionist charges when you sell your gold position. There was a TEN PERCENT(10%) difference between the value they showed in my account and the actual proceeds that I received from the sale of my total position, which represented the equivalent of $10,000 CAD in my case and I wasn't even shown the much lower amount at the time I confirmed my sale & wire transfer. I'm now reporting them to various financial governing and regulatory agencies to have them investigated and would also like to join forces with other clients that have been gauged & ripped off by this shady company that exploits its clients to possibly mount a class action law suit against them for fraudulent business practices, especially since they've been receiving complaints about their fees from many clients and done nothing about it.

I have maintained a goldmoney account for more than a decade with a six figure balance. I first noticed a flood of poor reviews about a year ago and made a five figure withdrawal. I did have to jump through some KYC hoops at that time which was mildly annoying and took a few days, but - once that process was completed - the withdrawal went smoothly. Upon seeing the latest flood of bad reviews I just made another five figure withdrawal. The money was in my account the next day without any problems at all.

I am having a similar experience to many of the people here. Goldmoney was good for a while, or so it seemed, now they've forced a monthly fee called a storage fee on us that depletes our holdings.
I can understand if they intend to apply this to future holdings but this isn't right for to do it this way.
Their customer service was responsive only to the point where they helped me transfer the funds from my GoldMoney M/C that is no longer available to them. But, they are applying the money to back storage fees and now won't respond to my emails trying to get my funds out and close my account. This is obviously terrible.
I write this to share my experience and to hopefully help prevent others from being treated this way and losing their funds.

Customer service is horrible...
"VERIFICATION IN-PROGRESS Verification review of your Holding is currently in progress and typically takes five business days."
It's been over two weeks and I'm still struggling with the KYC process. Which simply does not make any sense, as I have many financial accounts, some with far more stringent KYC requirements... and somehow, GoldMoney is making this process infinitely difficult, maybe even impossible.
Now I have to fight to get my initial test deposit refunded back to me.
Horrible experience.
Given my experience of the GoldMoney customer service, well, I would not want to go through this again.
Nor would I recommend their service.
One last thing... I just realized they are a Canada company. This is unbelievable.

The company Goldmoney really disappointed me! The administration of the company blocks the accounts of its customers for no reason, without explaining to customers about the reasons for blocking their accounts! I really do not recommend contacting this terrible company!
Personally, to me, my friend transferred me some gold as a gift and after 1 hour they blocked my account! I wrote to the support team, and I was told that I had allegedly violated something, but I absolutely did not do anything except order a card! The company treats its customers terribly! Do not mess with them!

They tell us about fees in December and take fees on jan 1st for dec to jan. They have hidden fees for transactions and take weeks to withdraw money (still waiting). To top that they have removed the ability to find and post on the treads on the forum which are negative towards them. Censorship, not being transparent, delayed withdrawals, do you want to put your money with people like that. Idts

I have used Goldmoney before via my pension scheme. This time i have opened a private account for a short while, and few weeks later liquidated my holding. So far, so good. I have stated that i require urgent transfer of funds. Despite numerous e-mails, it has taken 6 days to initiate transfer of funds from my account. Goldmoney claim that they only do manual transfers. Now that the funds are no longer in my Goldmoney account they seem to be missing. They are not in my account neither they are in my bank account. They are somewhere in the system. It has been 6 days, and i finally managed to get phone number of someone.
The realease of funds is shocking.
