Great site, they are always running great shipping deals and they often have good sales. I would recommend going to the store if there is one in your town as they match all prices including on-line only stores like TGW.com.
Had a club fitting for my son and ordered over $2,300 in product from Golf Galaxy in Upland, CA. Received an email from Golf Galaxy stating that tracking numbers would be provided once the product shipped. Two shipments arrived without any electronic notification of tracking information and the last shipment was apparently separated into two deliveries, without any communication. You cannot search these orders and/or tracking on the Golf Galaxy website. The only way to get tracking information is to call the store and ask for assistance, of which the customer experience has not been ideal. We were fortunate to find someone who was able to locate a tracking number for a product that was shipped, without any notification. Proceeded to escalate to the manager of the Upland, California location. I was assured the operations manager would provide an update to my son the next morning after contacting the manufacturer for a shipping status. In fact, I even I confirmed my son's phone number with the store manager. Unfortunately, the operations manager did not respond to my son of which I then contacted the store manager (again) who stated that he was present when his employee contacted my son. Mysteriously, there was no voice mail left on his phone nor was there a missed call. The store manager proceeded to tell me that tracking for golf products is different that the tracking for other goods. Meaning that obtaining tracking numbers from product vendors is a manual process and not done electronically, which is different than what was originally communicated at the time of purchase. In a day and age where package theft is frequent, it has become important to know if a product is arriving on a specific date to ensure it is not left outside the door for a long period of time, in a clearly marked box with the manufacturer's name and logo on it. Aside from the club fitting specialist who did a very good job, the customer experience with product fulfilment has been extremely disappointing. It's very likely I may never purchase again from this company.

Why isn't their golf club return policy clearly stated? After bing "fitted" at Golf Galaxy, by their "professional," I purchased a new driver. When I took the driver to the course, it didn't perform as it did on their launch monitor. When I returned the club for another with a stiffer shaft, the store response was that they don't accept returns if the product has been USED. Do they expect buyers of new clubs to store them in the closet for the first 30 days? Very unsatisfied and will never purchase anything again at Golf Galaxy. Many other golf equipment sellers give 30 day "no questions asked" return on new clubs.
I went in to the store not being able to hit my irons. I mean i even sliced a 9 iron. Ken Kapcia (Grand Rapids PGA Teaching Pro) had me hitting my 7 iron 145 yards dead straight within 15 minutes. I can only imagine what i can do with his practice tips after a week. Great teacher. I can't recommend highly enough.
Thanks Ken!
Went there to spend a $500 gift card I received for Christmas at the Mt. Laurel, NJ location. I was hitting some balls in the bay when "Dan" approaches me and rudely tells me that I can only hit 2-3 balls and after that I would have to pay for a fitting. Never asking me what I was looking for. Then he abruptly turns and didn't even give me the time of day. There level of customer service has deteriorated immensely... I will never shop there again.

I had the worst experience at The Airport Square store. Went in looking for a driver sales associate had no idea what he was talking about. No clue what i was hitting. Didn't show me what i was really looking for didn't even recommend it. Will never buy anything there again. Filled a complaint with the store never heard anything from store manager or home office. You're company needs to hire people that know what there talking about
Went in for a custom iron fitting. The fitter was a bored teenager who spent more time talking to his co-worker than working with me. Ordered a set of new irons and was told they would arrive in about 2 week. 3 weeks later I went in to check on the status of my irons. They said expected shipping was two months from now. I told them I wanted to cancel the order (I can get them in a few days from TGW). The guy helping me made a big deal out what a pain it was to cancel my order. He took care of it for me and instead of saying "thank you, or "we're sorry it didn't work, or something he simply slid me the receipt and said "you're good." I said "Thank you" and he did not respond. As I walked away I said again, "No, really thank you." He mumbled "you're welcome, clearly irritated that he had to deal with me. I will never shop there for anything again. I can just as easily get what I need on line.
I found out today that Golf Galaxy will not honor a $250 gift card my wife bought me several years ago. The GC was with Golf Smith who Galaxy purchased. So they purchased my $250 in the deal but won't redeem it now.
I will not buy from Golf Galaxy in the future. I suggest you do the same.
Took Paradym driver to return within 30 days.played 1 round, did not like it.no scratches on club, was like new.Paid $646 for it,they offered $258 for return.Said it was used,They could not show me evidence of use.Their 90 day policy for returns applies only to clubs that have the cellophane packaging intact.Worthless and a misrepresentation. Will not shop there again.

I went to Golf Galaxy in Cool Springs, TN yesterday & Andrew was more than helpful getting me fit for the right clubs as well as putting together a deal that fell within my budget. He was patient & the rest of the staff were kind & helpful as well. Will be going back soon & will highly consider going to them again when it's time to upgrade irons in a couple years.
Wish I would have read these reviews BEFORE I ordered my husband's birthday gift. Ordered a new pair of FootJoys with no personalization. They said they were in stock and would be shipped out this week. I checked the order status today and they had not even been processed. When I contacted customer service via chat - I just kept getting the same answer. This is a personalized item (which it was not) and there is no guarantee on our shipping estimate. If I knew they were going to take FOUR weeks, I would never have ordered them. Guess hubby doesn't get his birthday present on time. Thanks for nothing golf galaxy.
Don't sign up for a platinum fitting. It's $300 and includes a 30-minute lesson, but none of that money goes toward the cost of clubs like a regular fitting. On top of that, local golf courses usually offer packages of 6 30-minute lessons for around $100, so there's not really anything to justify the extra cost.
Horrible. I felt I was getting held up some guy looking at me what r u here for. Not may I help you. I looked at him twice and could not believe what I was seeing. 10 years ago I would have knocked him on his $#*!
I bought as set of PING iron on June 20th, 2020. The weren't in stock. Salesmen placed order. I received clubs at store 4 weeks later. A month passes and I check the website to see where my points are, I was thinking about buying a new pair of shoes. Nothing, my account shows no purchases. I open a chat session. I give him all my information, Person on other side apologies and says purchases and points will be added to my account. 10 days pass and still nothing. I open another chat session and now I get the story "we do not offer points for web special orders". But I tried, bought, and picked up the clubs in store. They offered to add 300 points to my award program in 24 to 48 hours. Heard that song and dance before. Very deceptive business practices. I have been a loyal shopper for 20 years... no more.
I have had the most unacceptable month long and still going experience with this company. I traded in old clubs and ordered a new set. They were out of stock and the manufacturer no longer makes them. It took 3 weeks to get them to cancel the order. Since I had traded in Golf Galaxy still has my $500 trade in credit that they will not get back to me. I'm at 5 weeks without resolution and no one at customer service can think for themselves or the customer. Store has been apologetic, however not stepping up to fix the issue. I'm standing here offering to hand them a lot of money for a set of clubs and they couldn't care less. Will not shop or order from them ever again.
I placed an online order for a set of Custom Taylor Made clubs for my son's Christmas gift on 12/3; the promised delivery date when ordered was 12/18. My order never updated after 12/3... just said preparing to ship. I've called and/or emailed customer service daily since 12/18, when it was obvious that I wouldn't receive the clubs on the date promised. Everyday I'm given a different ship date... 12/21,12/23,12/28,3/5/2021! It's like they literally make up ship dates and other information just to get you to leave them alone. AND, they say that I cannot cancel the order since the clubs are already being made! The worst customer service experience with this awful company! I've learned my lesson! Wish I would have simply read a few reviews before ordering, since this seems to be very common with this sorry excuse for a company!
Item I ordered is preparing to ship for two days. Contact customer service through chat or phone and I am told that they have no information available fro the shipping department but I should hear from them In 1-2 days. When I ask to cancel the order I am told I can only do that for 30 minute after I place the order. 96 hours after I place the order they have still not shipped. Bogus. I will never deal with them again
Tip for consumers:
Beware they lie about what is in stock.
I visited the GolfGalaxy at the Easton Town Center in Columbus on 6/21/17 for the first (likely last) time ever at 10:00 am opening and entered the store along with about 10 other people. I found a employee who was polite and attempted to assist me but could not answer my question. He ask a more experienced female staff member to assist. In the roughly 2 minutes of time I burdened her with she dismissed me when I tried to rephrase my question being dissatisfied with the brisk response she offered.
Was referred by a fellow I played golf with who has taken lessons there for 2 years from Peter. Went to the store and sat directly in front of a salesperson that was helping another client. Was on the stool in an empty store in front of this person for a good 15 minutes who refused to acknowledge my presence. Finally flagged down another salesperson and told them I was interested in lessons. They knew nothing about anything concerning lessons ( price, etc.) Told me that the person I was referred to was vey busy, was leaving town for several weeks and booked up for months. Could not even tell me the price of lessons. Left my name and phone number for Peter to call me back. We will see if that happens. Would not hold my breath. How can you possibly run a business in this manner. Makes me re-evaluate if I really want to spend my hard earned cash there. Very poor impression. You would have to try very hard to make a worse 1st impression! If I could give zero stars, I would!

On April first (yup im the fool), I was fitted with a new set of irons. I was told it could take 4-12 weeks but they usually get it done sooner (salesmans statement). So I took the gamble, figuring I could look on their web site occasionally to see where in the cue I was and maybe even get regular e mails telling me how my 1,300 dollar order was being processed. No such luck! The store says once the order leaves their store, they cant help me, just wait. Corporate finally searched and told me August 2nd was the date they were shooting for but my order would not show up on their web site anywhere. I dont know how this makes ANY client feel comfortable after spending so much. No place to watch the progress on line, and no notifications along the way leaves the client in total limbo. I will NEVER recommend them to any golfers after this in spite of the spectacular job the fitter did. Corporate policy SUCKS
Tip for consumers:
Do NOT order from Golf Galaxy , if they cant give it to you in the store, BEWARE

I'm 18 and my friends and I enjoy coming to golfsmith to look around, putt, and hit clubs. Every time we go we are followed around and crept on while there. On my last visit we over heard an employee say to another employee "I'd put money on it that they (taking about us) won't buy anything today." Also every time we are sarcastically asked "what are you interested in today?" My friends and I have spent countless amounts of money before so it's not like we are never buying stuff. I will not be going there again anytime soon. This happens at the location in des pere.
I went in to shop for a new driver. Everyone standing around talking. I had to go to checkout to ask someone to help me! I should have just walked out. This has to be the worst retailer I have ever dealt with. Don't waste your time. Stay away!
Ordered a driver and got a piece of pipe instead. Then sent it back. Will take up to A MONTH to receive the refund! In the meantime, the club I originally ordered is now not available. I would not ever buy from them again. I have a gift card which I will try to use and then run to another, more organized seller. Horrible
Don't bring your clubs here to trade them in. They will lie their azz off over the phone telling you they will give you a good/great trade in.
Nothing can be farther from the truth.
Recently I went to trade in my PING G10 driver and fairway wood for new Ping's and they wanted ti give me 10% of the value. I researched this online at multiple sites and saw what they were worth.
If you are going to trade your clubs in at Golf Galaxy, bring your own Vasaline.
Have tried to just get address to return and have had no luck will continue to try and return golf shoes that did not fit it is only $67 but their customer service is awful I will never order from them again. Beware Golf Galaxy is not a good company!
Gift Cards are a scam, Golf Galaxy & parent company, $#*!'s Sporting Goods wants to hide behind all gift card purchases as a problem with CashCard, the company they use to send out gift cards. My credit card charges state purchase was with Golf Galaxy. CashCard does not answer the phone or provide any tracking info for missing cards. I have made 6 calls, approx total 4 hours waiting for somebody to answer.
