Great site, they are always running great shipping deals and they often have good sales. I would recommend going to the store if there is one in your town as they match all prices including on-line only stores like TGW.com.
Had a club fitting for my son and ordered over $2,300 in product from Golf Galaxy in Upland, CA. Received an email from Golf Galaxy stating that tracking numbers would be provided once the product shipped. Two shipments arrived without any electronic notification of tracking information and the last shipment was apparently separated into two deliveries, without any communication. You cannot search these orders and/or tracking on the Golf Galaxy website. The only way to get tracking information is to call the store and ask for assistance, of which the customer experience has not been ideal. We were fortunate to find someone who was able to locate a tracking number for a product that was shipped, without any notification. Proceeded to escalate to the manager of the Upland, California location. I was assured the operations manager would provide an update to my son the next morning after contacting the manufacturer for a shipping status. In fact, I even I confirmed my son's phone number with the store manager. Unfortunately, the operations manager did not respond to my son of which I then contacted the store manager (again) who stated that he was present when his employee contacted my son. Mysteriously, there was no voice mail left on his phone nor was there a missed call. The store manager proceeded to tell me that tracking for golf products is different that the tracking for other goods. Meaning that obtaining tracking numbers from product vendors is a manual process and not done electronically, which is different than what was originally communicated at the time of purchase. In a day and age where package theft is frequent, it has become important to know if a product is arriving on a specific date to ensure it is not left outside the door for a long period of time, in a clearly marked box with the manufacturer's name and logo on it. Aside from the club fitting specialist who did a very good job, the customer experience with product fulfilment has been extremely disappointing. It's very likely I may never purchase again from this company.
The Berwyn, PA. Stores idea of an iron fitting is a joke. They dont know what the numbers mean and dont make suggestions. You just hit the irons you want to try and pick one... awful. Waste of time and money.
Ordered golf gloves in June and never received them. Checked into my account and the status of the order was cancelled. No e-mail informing me that the order was cancelled. Just got off the phone with their "customer No service" and was informed that it was probably out of stock. She checked the system and said they were still out of stock yet last night on their website they were in stock? She said "sometimes it takes a while for the inventory to catch up with the site" and they were working on the problem. As for no notification, she said "the e-mails get stuck" sometimes. Three strikes on this company, won't be ordering from them again...
I would give zero stars if that was an option. Purchased a gift card and gave it to a family member. When he tried to use the gift card it said it was not activated. I have had 12 conversations with Golf Galaxy customer service trying to resolve the problem. Everyone I spoke with took info, and assured me they would get the card activated and get back to me. No one did anything. Lesson learned, do not do business with Golf Galaxy.

Total Chaos with the online store followed by terrible customer service. Ordered a Right Handed Ping Driver in 9° and got a Left handed Driver in 10.5° with the incorrect shaft. Was told by customer service that this was probably because they were out of this type of club? Of course you would mail a left handed club in the wrong lie with the wrong shaft? And predictably they are now out of this type of club online. Was also told that I would have to drive to the UPS store or USPS and stand in line to return it. That GG would not have UPS pick it up at my door like they do all the time. Also informed that my refund would be at least 30 business days after they receive the club. On hold for over 20 minutes to talk to a manager then they hung up, will let VISA handle this one!
Just leaving the golf galaxy in greenfield wi. Horrible customer service guys are more concerned with their phones and seeming preoccupied with god knows whatever the place wasn't busy but somehow I couldn't even hit a club again guys seemed like they didn't want to be bothered. I guess I'll take by golf club business elsewhere like club champion or somewhere deemed better suited
Been nearly 30-days and still don't have1 of 4 clubs, yet they charged me for the entire order. No follow up to my five phone calls. Keep saying they need to contact Callaway. Never order from Golf Galaxy!
Love the Oklahoma City Golf Galaxy. I'm in there more than the grocery store. I am getting to be an old Fa*t and am in the process of switching my clubs to all senior flex. I went in to get a Ping 3 wood. They didn't have one but an associate named Brody was helping me. He came up with an idea to switch the demo senior flex 3 wood shaft with another 3 wood head and I left there happy with my new 3wood. I see a lot of 1 star ratings here but I think they are great. They leave you alone when you want and are very helpful when you need them. Go to the OKC store!
I've read several reviews about ordering clubs and getting used instead of new. Almost made me nit order. Well I ordered 3 clubs, 2 came from one warehouse, and the 3rd from another. All 3 were brand new and arrived in perfect condition. Also 1 came to my home on the 2nd day after ordering and the other 2 the next day. I used their standard free shipping. Super fast. My experience has been perfect and I hope other people don't get scared off by the bad reviews as I almost did. BTW, I am in no way affiliated with Golf Galaxy, $#*!s Sporting Goods, or any affiliate. I am just a customer, nothing more, nothing less.

I ordered a fairway wood for my girlfriend. Took two weeks to receive and then arrived with a headcover for another club that didn't even fit. Called 4 times in two weeks and all they tell me is that I have to be patient because they have not received an email from the warehouse. I worked for Golf Galaxy when I was in college 20 yrs ago and that was not the standard. Since $#*!'s Sporting Goods bought them out they have the rudest, ignorant costumer service representatives. I will never purchase from them or $#*!'s again. Just so you know this is the first negative review I have ever written, that's how horrible Golf Galaxy has been to deal with!

Had a fitting on september 25 then ordered and paid a full set of Mizuno MP25 the same day at location. Never received a tracking number ever since the clubs arrived at their warehouse. No reply to my mails. Got them today but they sat one week at the UPS because UPS did not have my phone number... Will not buy from Golfsmith again. Sorry.
About 1 month ago I purchased a used Ping G410 plus and traded in a Ping G20. I ended up paying somewhere near $200 difference. I could not hit the Ping G410 well on the course so I wanted to trade it for a used Cobra Air X. I was only offered $111.00 for my Ping G410. They are selling them used for in excess of $250.00. I feel I ripped off all around. I will never step foot in a Golf Galaxy or $#*!s Sporting goods again. I know this is a waste of time, but had to get it off my chest. Doubt that the corporate people even look at these.
Long time customer tried to exchange a pair of golf gloves but I did not have sales slip.
Gloves were still in a sealed package and the clerk acknowledge they were from GG.
Still, they did not allow the exchange.

I purchased a 3 hybrid titleist for 279 dollars. I paid full price which is fine. No headcover though. I emailed golf galaxy 2 times with no response. I talk to live chat and he tells me there's nothing he can do I'd have to contact my local store. I tell him my local store is 2 hours away. He says we'll do u have a ducks sporting goods near u. I call $#*!s and I'm on the phone n hold for 30 min only to be told they can't help me I will have to call golf galaxy. Why am I going the extra mile. Stay away from this company and online ordering. Tgw is my go to site. I just ordered a 4 hybrid titleist and my headcover came with it. Sucks I couldn't leave no stars
Horrible customer service ( go to the "contact Us" web portion, and they NEVER respond.) On the phone they don't have a clue when inquiring about an order and give the sense they really don't care either "you already been billed" I ordered some personalized golf balls on 11/09 and was told they would arrive no later then 12/16, it's 12/21 and still don't have my purchase, (they don't tell you till you get the tracking number, WHEN they finally send you a tracking number, after two phone calls it ships from Mexico). Don't buy from them it will cause a lot of issues if the purchase goes wrong or you have problems with the product... deal with a real company not Golf Galaxy
Went to Golf Galaxy today to buy a golf bag (had a mastercard gift certificate from Christmas). I bet I was there for 15 minutes really looking at golf bags. Not one person approached me. On the way out I noticed a group of men yukking it up at the practice area. I told the guy at the cash register on the way out "Women have money too."
I'd like to make a suggestion that someone other than the older man (Terry) be their front person! He seems to pick and choose those he says "hi" to and welcomes to the store! He looked at us as tho we didn't belong in HIS store :(. I had gone in for some stocking stuffers for my husband but his reception of us KILLED that desire instantly!
I would seriously rethink your front person as they are the VIP for a business and Terry does NOT fit the shoes!
Many site problems. Had to order on phone which took an hour. Then I got charged twice because somehow they duplicated the order. Customer service then said they were not able to cancel. Plus they did not originally give the $20 discount I mentioned twice while ordering. Finally, everything comes and is biled individually to make it confusing. Good prices on Callway balls is why I ordered.
I tried to return a Footjoy super lite golf shoes that had a one year waterproof warranty because my socks got wet in a light rain after wearing the shoes for the first time and the guy at the Roseville MN office said it could not be returned if it was worn outside. I said where do you think golf shoes are supposed to be worn inside the house? They finally spoke to the manager who was sensible enough and declared the shoes damaged. Whew!
I ordered a good club with two day shipping, 5 days later club still did not ship. I called customer service they said all stores had ran out of this item and my order was cancelled. I bought club from different company and a week later my account was charged from Golf Galaxy and then my canceled club came in. The. Obviously had to resend it back and way two weeks for my refund. Absolute Joke!
When golf galaxy took over golfsmith, I called manager of the Reading store and he told me they would honor my gift cards. Just went to the store and they said that offer expired. I was saving up for new clubs. I was never told that the offer was for a limited time and on line it states no expiration date on gift cards. Whats the matter with this company?
I was totally dissatisfied with a recent purchase of a custom made golf club. First, customer service was unable to connect me with the department so I could check on the status of this custom order so I had to go there in person. Secondly after waiting close to an hour they told me the order had not been shipped because the custom grip would not be available until July. So, we cancelled the custom grip and asked them to send just the shaft and grip. Returned today to check on the order and the same person who serviced me seemed totally unaware or had no record of the request we made 3 days ago.
I canceled the order as I lost all faith in them.

First the good. I was fitted and agreed ( my Choice) to a ping 425 driver with a senior shaft. I hit 42 shots and ducked hooked half. I retuned to the store, and management was not helpful nor interested. Fortunately my fitter (Ed C) was there, took over and replaced the shaft with a new regular. It 100 % solved my problem. I have an issue with the way my fitting fee was returned to me, not as stated on the web site.
I will buy my new irons after fitting with ED C, but have no alliance with golf galaxy. Its the people that make the difference
Ordered online, wanted to return online. Website not set up to accept online/mail-in returns. Started a very long chat, gave order number, UPCs, etc, waited and waited and waited. Was told to bring to a store. Finally got them to agree to send me a return label, but still waiting to receive it via email... Very surprised at the poor customer experience online and with chat.
I am happy that Golf Galaxy finally gave me the refund owed to me. Even though it was 9 days late they honored their responsibility and I am thankful for that. I have since changed my opinion of the company, especially of $#*!'s Sporting goods their parent company

Ordered a golf club on 12/2; box arrived 12/6 - EMPTY. I refused the package and immediately called customer service. Was told my order would be reshipped, overnight for free. I'm thinking, great! Well, a week later, no package. I called again, was told my case was "Under Review". What the heck does it need to be under review for? I receive an EMPTY BOX. Then, I was given a new order number and told it was shipping... still no package. Then, my money is refunded... what? I never asked for a refund. CAll them back again asking what's going on and told because I refused the package the first time, they refunded my account. So, I had to order again. This time, I demanded that they ship my club to me overnight like they told me and that it be free. They only wanted to give me a $15 discount. Plus, they didn't refund the tax they charged me on the 1st order. So I got a golf club that I had to pay sales tax on TWICE. I will NEVER, EVER shop with these people again.
