Great site, they are always running great shipping deals and they often have good sales. I would recommend going to the store if there is one in your town as they match all prices including on-line only stores like TGW.com.
Had a club fitting for my son and ordered over $2,300 in product from Golf Galaxy in Upland, CA. Received an email from Golf Galaxy stating that tracking numbers would be provided once the product shipped. Two shipments arrived without any electronic notification of tracking information and the last shipment was apparently separated into two deliveries, without any communication. You cannot search these orders and/or tracking on the Golf Galaxy website. The only way to get tracking information is to call the store and ask for assistance, of which the customer experience has not been ideal. We were fortunate to find someone who was able to locate a tracking number for a product that was shipped, without any notification. Proceeded to escalate to the manager of the Upland, California location. I was assured the operations manager would provide an update to my son the next morning after contacting the manufacturer for a shipping status. In fact, I even I confirmed my son's phone number with the store manager. Unfortunately, the operations manager did not respond to my son of which I then contacted the store manager (again) who stated that he was present when his employee contacted my son. Mysteriously, there was no voice mail left on his phone nor was there a missed call. The store manager proceeded to tell me that tracking for golf products is different that the tracking for other goods. Meaning that obtaining tracking numbers from product vendors is a manual process and not done electronically, which is different than what was originally communicated at the time of purchase. In a day and age where package theft is frequent, it has become important to know if a product is arriving on a specific date to ensure it is not left outside the door for a long period of time, in a clearly marked box with the manufacturer's name and logo on it. Aside from the club fitting specialist who did a very good job, the customer experience with product fulfilment has been extremely disappointing. It's very likely I may never purchase again from this company.
I'm so fed up W/ this place. Getting fitted for a driver by a salesperson that had no idea What he was talking about. I knew more about the Taylor Made driver than he. I 've been going here for years hoping it would get better since Golf Galaxy took over. There is NO customer service what-so-ever. When repairs to clubs are sent out, you have to beg to get an update. I'll from now on go to SJMuni, PGA palo alto or all the way to Golf Mart SSF. They get business cause there is nothing else close. Their pricing on all items is no DEAL. Tell your friends & family stay away
Ordered a gift card and was told it was shipped on Dec. 9. I cancelled the order and requested a refund on Dec. 27 since I still did not receive it. They cannot deliver a simple gift card on time! How pathetic! Never order anything from them again!
I got an Email with a 20% off coupon. I went to the store and asked if I could use it on a 2016 Taylor Made M2 3-wood. They told me it would work. I went and got the club and waiting in line to checkout... I get to the front and then the coupon didn't work! It was very embarrassing. I then tried to go online and use their other promotion for the club and it also failed. Very shameful marketing.
Pre ordered a putter on 7/20 on 8/24 was sent a e mail saying my order was cancelled giving no time to find another. Customer service was a joke and could not give a valid reason why it was cancelled. No longer a customer!
Tip for consumers:
Find some where else to purchase and avoid the run around you will get

I ordered a golf bag from golf galaxy's web site. The order took 5 days to ship. When the order arrived, I opened the package to discover that they had sent a chipping net instead of my golf bag. Upon calling customer service, I learned that I had to take the package to a UPS store to ship it back. I'm still waiting to receive my golf bag.
I ordered a set of Tour Edge Womens golf clubs for my wife for Mothers Day. The set came the bag was silver with black stains all over it. The golf clubs are absolute junk! Gave them a call THEY are charging ME to return these sub par clubs and on top of that I have to wait 30 days for a refund?
I purchased a Bushnell range finder last November. It stopped working correctly so I brought it back in to get it fixed or replaced since it was only 7 months since the purchase. I was asked if I purchased the Golf Galaxy warranty and I said that I didn't think so. At that point, I was simply "brushed off" and told to call Bushnell. They gave me Bushnell's phone number(which was a recording telling people to go to the website) and then went about their business.
They didn't offer me a "loaner". They didn't offer to call Bushnell on my behalf. They just didn't care.
I just spent over $3,000 last week purchasing a new set of irons, woods, bag, etc for my son from this store. Never again!
15% off everything, few exclusions including PING...
25% off everything, few exclusions including PING...
Whatever I have tried to purchase, every time I have tried to purchase it, "that item is on the exclusion list" I have clicked many links, never found this exclusion list. Advertise it properly... 15% off the cheap $#*!, 25% off the not so good stuff... be honest. Is it that difficult; advertise "Come to our website for cheap stuff, CHEAPER!" NOT, 25% off the ~few~ exclusion (which includes the stuff that is decent and that you would want to spend your money on in the first place...)
I got on line and ordered the club, the site said in site. After six days they still have no idea when it will ship. I could have got the club online from another company, I should have and will the next time. Waste of time and money.
I spent a hour looking for a golf bag. Found it on 2 sites plus on golf galaxy. GG had the best price. After entering all the data and credit card info, the order was placed and confirmed. A day later, I got an email that it was out of stock and the order was canceled. What happened in 24 hours? This is the second time this happened. Now, I'm back to square 1. FIX THIS GG OR I'M DONE WITH YOU

Received a booklet from golf galaxy for $20 off of a $100 purchase. Tried to use it on a $149 bushnell wingman speaker. The clerk said I couldn't use it on this product! I have also tried to use them in the past on clubs with the same results! It didn't specify what it couldn't be used on. The coupon was from golf galaxy so in my opinion they should honor the coupon as other stores do theirs. If this is their policy please take me off of the mailing list.
Called to see how much to upgrade shafts on a new set of $1300. 00 irons, After going into product details and a short wait, I was told that they could not help with the information and to go to a store.
When it was Golfsmith, there was an entire catalog with shafts and pricing.
How about I go to a knowledgeable online store and spend my money there?
On the third weekend of july 2023 Golf galaxy in akron had a grand reopening. I filled out a piece of paper with my name and phone number. I was told that if i won something I would be advised within a week if iI won. On the last weekend of August I received a phone call advising me that I had won a grand prize. After numerous phone calls and emails 11 weeks later I received my prize. I was also advised that do to the frustration I would receive a gift card from $#*!s sporting goods. When I called to check on the status of the gift card I was told that since I received the prize I would not be receiving it. After reading many reviews i am in total agreement that this is the worst franchise to work with. $#*!s sporting goods has lost a long time customer and Iwill never step foot in there stores again.
I am very disappointed with Golf Galaxy and would not recommend them to anyone. Customer service is very lacking. Ordered a set of Mizuno Jax ez steel irons for my husbands birthday and they shipped me only the 5 iron. When called customer service they said the item was no longer available. Said I could ship the 5 iron back to them but would not give me credit until they receive the iron. So not only did they take my 367.47 for a product they did not have but they kept it because I guess they felt I need to pay for their mistake. Did I fail to mention they said I could go to the store and return them. I live in Louisiana and they wanted me to drive to Texas. Also said they could send me a mail label and they would pay for shipment. I would tell anyone to shop at any other store but Golf Galaxy!
Very poor management and defrauding customers at this location. Brought in a driver to return to Callaway due to warranty. Was told i had to pay shipper and come back to pick up club. Spoke to Callaway how told me i was not to pay shipping because it was a warranty and they could drop ship to my house. Golf Galaxy said they could not do this. Thankfully Callaway stepped in and shipped directly to me. Stay away from this location.
Customer service was absolutely no help with this issue at Golf Galaxy
Pricey golf shores ordered, arrived late and used. Grass and dirt on the shoes. Called for replacement pair and they agreed. Then canceled the order with no notification. So a week or so later, I called. No explanation why it was cancelled and no refund. They kept my money and cancelled the order. I requested the funds be returned. I'm still waiting. So I'm out the money and no shoes And a lot of time tracking it all down. Never again.
Went in to check out the new Callaway Driver at GG Westminster and was told by a young punk salesman (Lance) that we don't want our drivers disappearing in the demo bay. Nothing else but to say he was a real jerk. Well, I have shopped there for 20 years when it was Golf Smith. I have never been treated so rudely in a golf store and I buy a lot of golf stuff. Well GG good luck with your new store I wont be back and encourage customers to check out TGW much better company.
I hate doing this but I cant help but not share. In mid July I ordered some junior clubs for my sons birthday at the beginning of August. I figured that was more than enough time to get there. After weeks of them not coming and having trouble tracking them, I finally checked with support (in mid August). They told me they were delivered a few days prior... to Kentucky! I live in Iowa! They did offer to reship me out the same set for free so I accepted because my son really liked the set. So today (Aug 31st) I contacted support again because they still hadn't come and they were stuck in transit. They told me they were sorry but they were now unavaliable and I would just be refunded. So long story short- I wasted a month and a half waiting on two sets of clubs that were never delivered and my son didn't get his birthday gift. We will be looking elsewhere for our golf gear from now on.
I recently visited Golf Galaxy in Greenville, SC and was not pleased at all with their service. I brought in 3 clubs to be regripped; after standing and waiting for the attendant to input the information in the computer (took about 10 minutes), I was then informed to come back tomorrow to pick up the clubs. I informed the attendant that I just drove and hour and 15 minutes to get to the store, could I get the clubs done now. He stated to me that they were too busy (I believe I noticed 4 other customers in the store). I just grabbed my clubs and informed him the service was not good. I decided picked up a small item to purchase on my way out and went to the cashier. I had to interrupt him as he was too busy texting on his phone. While checking out, I noticed the attendant was was "assisting" me earlier walking around basically doing nothing. I guess he was "too busy" walking around to assist me earlier. Unfortunately for us, they are the only golf store around.
The absolute worst customer service in history. Can't even process & ship a gift card. Hunted then down after 5 days & they told me they are too busy to process & ship before Christmas. They weren't too busy to process the $500 though. Now I am out $500 5 days before Christmas with no gift card... because they are too busy to get my money back to me promptly. In the meantime, I got a shipped email the next day, with another email saying they can't process. I can't even get a straight answer from them. Now they are just ignoring me.
No help. I ordered a gift card on line on Dec 10 and never received it. Called the help line and they said it would take 14 days? Said it shipped on the 10th and would be there by 14 days. No way to track through USPS. Call center is third party and out of the Us. No help. Called store and no help. Learned a lesson. Shop elsewhere for my golf clubs. Tired of no help and no one giving a crap about my patronage. Too many good places to shop.
I placed an order with them at the beginning of September and it is now the 30th and it still has not shipped! One single cub and I get a different reasons evreytime I call! They say I am welcome to return the club when I receive it if I'm not satisfied! Never use them!
My experience with the $100 club fitting was terrible. The club fitter only set up two clubs for me to compare and I hit about 10 balls with each. The one hour fitting took less than thirty minutes to look at the club selection and hit in the simulator. I mentioned that TaylorMade offers a military discount of 15%. The guy told me that TaylorMade doesn't do that and seemed upset that I even mentioned it. He later told me that he talked to the manager and they would not match the price with the military discount. This guy couldn't have done any less work during the thirty minute fitting. I went home and ordered my new iron set directly from the TaylorMade website with a 15% discount. I wish I wouldn't have wasted the $100 at Golf Galaxy first. I'm very grateful that TaylorMade does this and I'll gladly support any business that supports our military.
How Golf Galaxy survived and bought Golfsmith is a mystery. Terrible servise, poor selection, dusty everything and poor displays. The cashier was more interested in the fellow associate than removing the security tag. Of course the tag wasnt discovered until i was 35 minutes away fromthe store. I would Suggest you shop Lenny's or the PGA store in the Denver area.
I tried to order $1800+ worth of Callaway clubs as part of a promotion the last day of the promotion. The website would not take my order despite spending over an hour trying to make the order go thru. I just worked with a Golf Galazy person. Although the problem was on Golf Galazy's website, Golf Galaxy will do nothing for me to solve the problem.
