Great site, they are always running great shipping deals and they often have good sales. I would recommend going to the store if there is one in your town as they match all prices including on-line only stores like TGW.com.

Had a club fitting for my son and ordered over $2,300 in product from Golf Galaxy in Upland, CA. Received an email from Golf Galaxy stating that tracking numbers would be provided once the product shipped. Two shipments arrived without any electronic notification of tracking information and the last shipment was apparently separated into two deliveries, without any communication. You cannot search these orders and/or tracking on the Golf Galaxy website. The only way to get tracking information is to call the store and ask for assistance, of which the customer experience has not been ideal. We were fortunate to find someone who was able to locate a tracking number for a product that was shipped, without any notification. Proceeded to escalate to the manager of the Upland, California location. I was assured the operations manager would provide an update to my son the next morning after contacting the manufacturer for a shipping status. In fact, I even I confirmed my son's phone number with the store manager. Unfortunately, the operations manager did not respond to my son of which I then contacted the store manager (again) who stated that he was present when his employee contacted my son. Mysteriously, there was no voice mail left on his phone nor was there a missed call. The store manager proceeded to tell me that tracking for golf products is different that the tracking for other goods. Meaning that obtaining tracking numbers from product vendors is a manual process and not done electronically, which is different than what was originally communicated at the time of purchase. In a day and age where package theft is frequent, it has become important to know if a product is arriving on a specific date to ensure it is not left outside the door for a long period of time, in a clearly marked box with the manufacturer's name and logo on it. Aside from the club fitting specialist who did a very good job, the customer experience with product fulfilment has been extremely disappointing. It's very likely I may never purchase again from this company.

I called and spoke to the front desk clerk. He stated they had what I asked. I drove 20 minutes got there. When I went to the golf grip dept. the rep said they didn't and hadn't carried the grip I requested for a long time- the front desk person failed to verify what I asked for. Mgr was NO help…I won't go back!

They had a sale through midnight. I had it locked in my cart, checking out, and sent it at 1 minute too late. Ok, my fault, I missed the sale. They give no approval for change of price, it charges me $42 more, and then they won't let me cancel it. I will never use this company ever again. The worst customer service I have ever experienced. I hope they go bankrupt.

Plenty of staff but no one cares if you're there or not. They like to chat with each other. Had $1500 to spend on clubs but the people don't ask what you want or are interested in. Save your time and go anywhere else.

Unorganized company don't care about customers I ordered a set of irons on Monday played extra for shipping so I could get them in two days its Thursday and they still haven't even shipped them yet why does it take so long to ship every other co. Ships same day you order. No wonder this co. Is not doing well. Order from anybody else if you want good service

Got Black Friday Deal Coupon - $30 Off purchases over $125. Mine was $266. Only got $10, So when I chatted I got sorry excluded and gave me this link https://www.golfgalaxy.com/s/promotion-exclusions which excludes like 90% of the vendors on the site! Total bait and switch - they would not even consider giving me $20 credit. Will never use again. This is for the website not a store.

I was in there for 30 minutes spent 525 dollars and all the employees and the manager never once said hi or how can I help... just visiting from Daytona beach... don't go to the one in Charlotte North Carolina... they say the people are more friendly here... not at Golf Galaxy..

Check out the fine print on Golf Galaxy "Sale" exclusions. Basically, almost everything you would want is excluded. Big sale on 25% on the website today "only", but basically all makes of clubs excluded. I have no loyalty to this company and choose to shop with more ethical companies.

I recently ordered 4 pair of golf shorts through GG website. They arrived and all looked fine. Tried on one pair and seemed to fit ok, so went ahead and laundered the order. All the same brand and size…all 4 fit completely different. It's obvious the sizes were mis-marked. There's been no shrinkage. Now I'm stuck with 3 pairs that don't fit at all. Cost of the shorts was $200 plus. To say I'm irritated is an understatement

Hey Golf Galaxy, way to ruin my Christmas gift surprise. I ordered a pair of golf shoes and all you did was shrink wrap them in clear plastic. That is the only order of many from different companies that did not come in a bag or box. Now my husband knows what he is getting for Christmas.

Visit your location in Richmond was disappointed with the service when asked if possible to try out a ping iron very little help I can go to local dealers and try this club without the hassle is this your business model and if so it will not last long.

I went to the golf galaxy in Robinson (Pittsburgh), Pa, to purchase clubs with and for my son-in-law. We spent $1,300 on irons, woods, shoes and a golf bag. What was really disturbing was the 1st sales associate could care less about wanting to save some money on this purchase and was more concerned, in my eyes, of his commission on the sale. Once he realized we were't going to pay a arm and a leg, he pond us off to another salesman who gave minimal assistance by saying the bags and the shoes where over there and spent no time in helping us with our selection. What was most disturbing was the manager who, at one time, came over to address a problem with the irons we were purchasing and spoke only to the salesman. He made us feel as it we were invisible. This is not the way a customer should be treated. I now understand why this particular store is not doing well!

Was on phone for 35 minutes. Was told break up order into 2 orders and we can do that. So I have to make 2 orders to drop over 700 to get the coupon but you cannot do it in 1 order. Time wasting, unhelpful. Spend my money elsewhere

Waste of time! At first, I was excited because I was looking forward buying a new driver. Only to find out I cannot use their simulator (new policy). I was told in order to test any products you need to rent the area. I simply put it away and went to PGA Superstore, where I test and bought my Stealth driver:)

To management, do you really believe those that want to purchase a club is going to rent first, and then buy. C'mon guys! You're smarter than that...

Don't waste your time go PGA Superstore.

I ordered a new complete set of Cobra F-Max clubs online. 10 days later the set shows up with no Driver, I call customer service and am told they can't do anything, it is the responsibility of a different department, and I will be contacted within 48 hours. 5 days later after not receiving any contact, I call them back, and they tell me there is nothing that they can do, that I must return the clubs, and wait up to 30 days for the money to be refunded to my credit card. The most rude customer service I have ever encountered, I will never do business with this company again!

False Claim. Have been in with a price match on items just to be turned away. See disclosure below. Apparently there are no "authorized online retailers. GG would not drop $10.00 off a $249.00 golf bag last night!
Golf Galaxy will not be undersold. We are an authorized online retailer for the top brands in golf. If you find a lower price on any product we sell at any other authorized online retailer, we will match the price at the time of purchase or within the following 30 days

This place doesn't understand or care about customer service or whether they create a repeat customer.

I ordered expensive, custom Calloway irons in the middle of summer and was told I'd have my clubs in "2-3 weeks at most." After multiple phone calls, emails and an old fashioned snail mail letter, I received a poorly written, unapologetic email from Patrick, the Westminster store manager. He took zero responsibility for the mess and offered no solutions other than telling me I simply had to wait for my clubs. I emailed him back, but got no response. This guy is unprofessional, uncaring and doesn't understand the meaning of customer service. Two weeks turned into two months, after which I got PART of my order.

This might be the worst RETAILER, let alone golf shop I've ever experienced. I have a lot more golf needs but suffice it to say that Golf Galaxy won't get another nickel from me.

Buyer beware Golf Galaxy likes to lure you to their website with great prices only to cancel your order once you make a purchase. I ordered a golf net at a great price only to have the order cancelled the next day due to part availability. Total BS! A real company would honor the transaction and ship once the inventory is replenished. And by the way, don't try to work it out with customer service they are helpless and clueless.

Not all of Golf Galaxy's so called professional fitters know what they are doing. $100 fitting turned into the purchase of the recommended Driver and 3 wood. Tried the driver that same day. Didn't make it through the front nine with it. Took it back to Golf Galaxy two days later where the head fitter told me the Driver was absolutely the wrong one for my swing. Returned it for store credit. Brought the 3 wood back to exchange (didn't bring it with me when I returned the Driver). Had been hit twice and had some dirt on it but no permanent marks. Store Manager refused to give me a credit (contrary to Golf Galaxy's published Return Policy). Although he did offer to buy it back from me at 40% of what I paid for it. So buyer beware, Golf Galaxy charges you for a fitting (it is credited against a purchase), the tell you what club to purchase, but when it doesn't work as advertised on the golf course they won't take it back.

In April 2017 I ordered my husband a new Garmin GPS online, it was cancelled a few days later due to not in stock. I received an email stating my credit card amount had been refunded and I would receive NEW gift cards in 7-10 days. It is now August 2017 and I have not received the gift cards. I've talked to multiple people who said they would send them out. I've had people tell me they would call me back and let me know the status. Just spent another 1.5 hours on the phone and was told they will try to transfer the balance of the cards to a new card but I've also been told they don't know what those card numbers were so don't see how they are going to do that either. Unfortunately they've also teamed up with $#*!'s making it very hard to boycott Gold Galaxy. I just want my $145 dollars back so I can order my husband a new golf GPS.

So the store I go to has a great manager(Eric). He is very personable. He knew my name the next time I saw him. There are a couple of club repair guys that are accommodating and knowledgeable. But you have to find these guys. Many of the employees act like they know something but they don't. One thing I don't like is the clothes. They seem cheap but cost in the $70-$100. I find better deals at the outlet malls. Many times they will not have the newest thing or they have too many regular flex or too many stiff flex. You can't take anything out to try it for a day which sucks. I hate hitting off mats. An iron fitting is $100. For real? I know my swing better than anyone. I will fit myself thank you.

Tip for consumers:
Don't know about the site but the Springdale store is nice enough.

Products used:
I bought my Ping G400max there along with my Taylormade Spyder putter. I wasn't sure about the putter and the manager said if there are no marks on it, I could switch it out for another. I decided to keep it and I am glad. But it was nice for the manager to offer this. I'm look into some Callaway irons now and they let me try out different shafts with the indoor machines. I think I've bought my last 3 drivers there and a couple of putters.

Great store. They have everything, but their prices are not always the lowest. I check the products here and after price comparing with other sellers, if they are lowest will come back, Do have great selection of used clubs at good prices.

I have had a Golfsmith.com account for quite a while now. They aren't always the cheapest but I do have to say they have A+ customer service. Free shipping on most orders, and a great tracking module. I especially like to shop their clearance and close-out area, sometimes you can hit some really cool stuff at a nice price.

If you're interested in club-making this is the place to go. They have an entire division devoted to instruction, equipment and supplies so that you can do your own club building, re-gripping and stuff like that.

PS-Their best deals are at the end of summer season in the fall.

I was having THE WORST customer service experience and started this review with full intentions on giving a 1-star rating but then I got to deal with one of the Customer Service managers, Bergen, and she COMPLETELY turned the disaster of an experience around. So for that I give 3-stars. However, the CS reps need some serious re-training.
