Took my teenage son to get a trim and she cuts off 3 inches after he been growing it out to the style he wanted! He explained to her what he wanted! All she said was it will grow back it's no big deal. Very upset with this place I thought we try once again after they messed up his hair 3 years ago and haven't been back till now to see they could reclaim our business! But never again will we go to a great clips!

I was told it would be only 30 minutes till my hair cut, but she kept letting other people go ahead of me, then did a terrible job. All she did was trim my bangs and the ends of my hair. She charged me 16$, after l waited for over an hour and I am 63 years old. That was Saturday at 3:00 pm in Joplin Mo

Great Clips is really not great at all. First, None of the workers care about how someone will look after it's done. Second, I've been told by the employees my hair will grow back after she messed up BAD. This last time the woman just cut half of my hair and left the other half not even cut. A child could do better. I'M DONE

I got a coupon for a $5.99 haircut on May 2, so I took my son in on Monday May 6. I was told I could not use the coupon because they were having a $6.99 special. WTH the coupon expires on May 8. That's BS! Nice bait & switch tactics. Why mail out a coupon if you won't accept it. I won't be back! I went to the linden Ave location in Dayton Ohio

I ask, no clippers, they…use clippers. I got cut by a man named Lee three times in one cut at the back of my neck. Scabbed for a week and no "I'm sorry" or anything. Went back a month later. Told woman, no clippers. She used them, and cut my ear multiple times. When I got to my car I had a stream of blood coming down my ear. It also scabbed. I'm an older lady who likes scissor cut pixie. I wish I had taken pictures.

I showed her 3 different pics of how I wanted the back of my hair cut. Then asked her if she could do this which she assured me "of course no problem". A little above shoulder length and lots of layers was what I was looking for. I showed her the pics again and again she assured me. Well, I walked out of there with a pixie cut. Nothing at all like any one of the 3 pics I showed her. It's going to take months to grow my hair out now. So disappointed never going back. No matter if you show them in a pic what you want they still do what they want... and then she's like what? It's just like the pic... Instead of an apology and being honest that she got carried away and cut it way to short.

The wait time is never what the app says. It has told me 5 minutes for 30 minutes once. Today I called ahead and they told me to be there in 30 minutes. That was an hour ago. Something I use to do on my lunch break now takes me over an hour. I am done with this place

Asked for a A line cut and it was done so poorly that I had to have it shaped up by another salon.The girl wasn't friendly and looked nasty covered in all sorts of goth get up and tattoos.The females openly flirted w/the male customers like it was a brothel. This is the one on McGrady in Cleveland, Tennessee. Will never go back or recommend this place to anybody.

Long wait even after checking in ahead of time and a rude manager.They cut half my girlfriends hair and quit because she said she wanted a trim not alot cut off.She ask if they were cutting it too short and he said I'm done.She left with half her head cut.Neither one of us will ever go there again.

I checked in on line which said I had a 50 min wait. I have a very hard time just getting out and got there at the most 10 minutes after the time it said to come which was 7:50 and was told they already closed. I guess it really doesn't matter that it advertised open till 8.

I went in today to have my hair cut. I always go to great clips because it is easy to get in and out. Today the stylist showed me how much she was going to cut. I said ok. She then proceeded to almost shave the back of my head and the sides were too short also. I'm embarrassed to go out in public. Not sure I will go back. This us a first for me! No receipt.

I went to the Whitehall Crossing Great Clips and they shaved the back of my head. I asked for them to take 1/2 inch off all over and she interpreted it as she wanted. I hope this place goes out of business. The woman had short dark hair and glasses. She must need heating aids as well. I hope she gets fired.

This older lady with an accent did her version of a faux hawk. She did no blend at all. Just a half on the sides. Looks like a chia pet head. Plus the very front was cut half the amount shorter than the top. Just no common sense. Be extra specific if you choose to save money and take a risk on this place on 238th in Maple Ridge

I recently was in need of a haircut as the stylist I had been to for 4 years cut my hair totally wrong because he was upset about something and during his complaining he gave me the worst haircut ever. I let it grow out for 6 months. It is difficult for me to find someone who works well with wavy hair and with a good cut, I can make it curly if it is layered correctly. Being desperate for a haircut, I tried a GreatClips. The stylist seemed liked she knew about dealing with hair like mine and I told her that I did not want shorter layers in the back like many women are wearing. Unfortunately, she ended up doing exactly what I told her I did not want. For that type of cut, she did a halfway decent job. However, not the hair style for me and now I am having to let it grow out again! Won't go back to a GreatClips.

Hi i got my hair done yesterday at great clips in englewood co. It was not what i wanted. I showed her 2 styles that i would love. She shaved wrong and she cut it like a nothing i have ever seen. The cut is not near i wanted. Un even cuts and can not make a style out of it.

Went in to get a haircut for me and one other person. They started cutting and after about 2 minutes they said cannot finish your haircut without giving you shampoo as you have too much oil in your hair. It is possible I have too much natural oil, but I do not put any other oils into my hair. They charged an extra $10 for this and I couldn't say no as they already did one side of my head. I had 6 coupons being: 2 $4.99,2 $6.99 and 2 $8.99. I handed them it and asked to use the $4.99 ones. Was charged $6.99 for BOTH haircuts plus $10 shampoo and surprisingly when I get my coupons back there is only $1 4.99 and 2 $8.99 coupons remaining. I don't care much for hair styling as I just wanted it shorter, but these other things should not be happening as a first impression.
Would not recommend.

I took advantage of the free veterans haircut, and I asked her for just a trim and she ended up cutting my hair really short, worst unprofessional cut ever. I went to the 44th st. And thomas. In phoenix arizona. The lady who cut it, must be from out of the country, hard to understand. Awful customer service, and did not listen to my request

I walked in to Great Clips on 130 Ave S. E Calgary Alberta. Like I have done before and shown a picture of the haircut I want. I previously went there and got the exact same hair cut three months ago. I was asked do I have a hair cut in mind and assured that she would be asking questions along the way. Everything was fine up until she clipped off my long sides which makes the hair cut stand out. Then she cut my bangs straight which I keep insisting to have a jagged edge bang. Imagine asking for an asymmetrical hair cut and getting a bowl boy cut. I am so upset that I looks like a boy everyday hairstyle. Please avoid this place as they do what they want... not what you want.

When I was there for a haircut about three words were spoken. They were very rude. Poor job of cutting also. Wouldn't even brush off the cut hair. I sensed racism also since the girl was black. Never going back

Recently, I had gotten a new hair style(short), while visiting CA. I snapped a photo of my hair. While in Palm harbor fla. I visited great clips at ridgemoor and east lake. Hair stylist named Pam did an excellent job. I would trust her with any cut

I asked for my bangs at my eyebrows and the lady cut them an inch above so I can't even do anything with them also a 3 on the sides and the kept cutting the top of my head on accident or something so it way to short all over and over all looks like $#*!

Very bad hair cut. Sarah at Yukon Garth brooks great clips did not know what she was doing. I showed a picture for my son's haircut and she just did a different haircut, charged extra and will not take a coupon.

I showed him pictures - front and back - and said "I want a pixie, long and moppy on top and layered and wispy - NOT SHAVED - on the back. He cut my hair all over too, too short - it's shorter than a boy cut! There is nothing "moppy" or "wispy" or "layered" about my hair. I'm embarrassed to go out in public. First two pictures are what I showed him, third is what I got.
