I've shopped this site several times over 4 or 5 years. Have worn my favorite black long sleeve tee to work once a week over 3 years (RN, multi color paws match with different colored scrub pants & clogs!) ALWAYS get a compliment, usually end up seeing & sharing cell phone pictures of pets with my patients. Recently ordered/received 3 more work shirts because it's such a wonderful way to start a rapport. (Panda is a sleep shirt.) I have no complaints about quality or delivery time.
My bank notified me that a greatergood.com attempted an online transaction from one of my accounts. I realised it was a US charity organisation, and I had no prior experience with them. I've frozen the account and contacted the bank to inquire further. I've brought this to your attention because the bank suggested I contact the merchant about this attempted fraudulent transaction. It would be great if the organisation tightened their online security as I can see there was a previous complaint in August with similar experience. I am not even from America and I feel that this is targeted. Please ensure that this doesn't happen with others

Tip for consumers:
I shop here to get cute stuff AND promote/give to Animal Rescue. I have NOT had a bad experience - although my daughter glommed/took the fleece jacket :) We both have rescued dogs and are advocates for rescue/adoption. When shopping a charity I do not hold the same service expectations as a for profit vendor. This site is like a BONUS - giving to a cause you love and receiving something in return.

In April I ordered a pair of the flower Yoga/beach slippers. From the day they arrived, they've been extremely comfortable. The soles grip the floor very nicely, and the tops are SO PRETTY. I like the way my feet are able move and bend inside the slippers, thus exercising my foot bones and muscles. I do wear them only indoors because I want to keep them as clean as possible, and I also wear light little socks in them. The price was very reasonable (on sale for $11.99 + shipping). I liked them so much that I decided to order a second pair: the paw pattern. I also like that I'm able to help animals through my purchases.

Thank you for notifying us of this issue. Yes, we are aware of other attempts of fraudulent actions due to credit card numbers being stolen. The fraudsters are using the card for a small amount to see if the card works and if so, they sometimes proceed to use that card for future fraudulent activity. We have taken steps to reduce this activity but in part, the banks have to participate as well. One of the key security channels it must go through is the billing address on the order must match the billing address your bank has on file. Some banks do not participate in this security so even if we have our security set as such, the transactions can still flow through as the bank doesn't require this match. We apologize for this inconvenience.
Purchased black PJ's with paw prints. The inside of the fabric is white and when you wash them the PJ's get pills (little white balls) all over it. I used lint brush to remove & washed again & same thing happened. I also bought a scarf that wasn't what I expected. Called customer service, can't return anything that the tags have been removed or not in original package. Explained these were for Christmas so all tags removed. Made no difference. Advised agent I would never purchase anything here again.

We generally make exceptions during the holidays due to situations such as what you described - removing the tags due to it being a gift. I have refunded you for both the Pajama's and the Scarf and that refund will go back to your original form of payment. We generally have a very generous return policy over the holiday's and I apologize that this was not taken into consideration in your case.

They identify a variety of heartbreaking situations around the globe and provide a multitude of ways to donate and support. I placed an order feeling good about helping animals and getting some great things for my upcoming vacation. I've waited 2 weeks foe this package to arrive only to get an email stating the package had been returned to them. I've never had a problem getting packages. I call scam. Do not order. I'll be checking my credit card to be sure e money was refunded. They should have expedited the returned package. Poor poor customer service. Done.

I apologize if you feel the service you have received was not to your expectations. The reason the order was not shipped back to you or expedited is that we do not have a way to tell if the package was returned by the post office due to inability to deliver to your address or if the package was refused by the recipient. We only know that it was a return to sender. Your full cost, including shipping was refunded to your original form of payment when the return was received back at our warehouse. Without knowing the reason for the return back to our organization we cannot reship products again in case it was a case of the customer not wanting the shipment.
Your order was placed on July 24th and shipped from our warehouse on July 27th. Tracking shows that it made it to your city and state and then was returned to us. We apologize for the inconvenience this may have caused you. We strive to deliver all of our shipments on time, but once it leaves our facility, we need to rely on the shipping vendors to ensure it gets to you. Our organization is not a scam and the full refund should demonstrate that fact. We do our best to provide the best service as possible and still support the many charitable causes that we fund.
I just received an email asking to donate towards our veterans and their animals for shelters. I thought this was great! However after doing some research I discovered that this organization pays their Executives a high salary. I was only able to find their 990 IRS form from 2017 and the top executive was making $170,000 annually. (no 2018 990 available in the IRS site) The other administrative positions were also making over $100,000. Way to greedy for my standards for a charity that's out to help Veterans and their pets! Looks like their the ones receiving charity!

Recently I purchased a scale from Greater Goods but it wasnt to the specifications I needed. Luckily Nick from CS reached out to me and offered up another scale they have that better solved my issue. I'm very grateful for their effort and for Nicks kindness.

There are three I will not click on. Autism, diabetes and alzheimer's. Animals are still used in labs to test on for these diseases.
Animal testing is horrifying, unnecessary and above all, it has no impact on humans.
The only reason animal testing continues is because the Government and Big Pharma make billions of taxpayers money every year.

I have ordered numerous items from this site, and everything has been fine. I especially like their jewelry. I usually donate a few extra dollars to the charity for the free shipping, and always receive a certificate of donation right away.

I have purchased 3 pairs of the sport sandals and have been very pleased with them. One pair I have worn part of everyday for over a year and they finally wore out yesterday. They are comfortable and true to size. The only issue is I wish that they came in a more neutral color so that I can wear them with more different color clothes. How about just black and white? Using their size chart I bought a ring from them and when it arrived it was 3 sizes too small. I know this because I got it checked at a British jewellers. I followed their returns guidelines and sent it back via recorded delivery. In total I spent $42.21 to buy the ring and return it due to their size chart being totally wrong. They only refunded me $19.82. Clearly this is how they make their money for their 'charity'.
Purchased a lovely memorial bracelet to remember my dear cat, Gizmo, but the money also went to feed shelter animals. Double win. Received a tracking number in a day or two went from UPS to USPS and tracking number worked for both. I look forward to doing business with them again.
I hate the fact that some people are complaining about there purchases, don't purchase anything, just donate then. That's what this is all about, to help out animals and people in need instead of being greedy and complaining, honestly I have ordered several items and I have not been disappointed.

House shoes were the cheapest made I have ever seen. No right or left designated. Feels like piece of cardboard with foam glued on top of that.
I like that they feed animals but these were Christmas gifts I was embarrassed to give.
Extremely happy with the items that I purchased. They were a good price and good quality for what I paid for it.
As for if a % of the money actually goes to feed animals, I don't know. Wish someone had a definitive answer for me.
Even if it doesn't, I bought an inexpensive item and the quality was lovely so I cannot complain.

Love the dresses and purses. Love that proceeds help animals but hate that you cannot exchange dresses due to size issues. I bought two identical dresses in the same size just different patterns. One fits beautifully and the other one is way too small. A previous dress I bought I used the sizing guide again and ordered it... That one was way too large. This makes me very cautious when ordering clothing since you are stuck with whatever you buy. The website explains that they do not do exchanges for size issues. Because of this size inconsistency and their inability to make things right I will not be ordering any more clothing from this website which is a shame because there are some really cute things that I'd love to have.

Sizing is completely random. One dress I ordered in the same size but just two different prints and one fit perfectly and the other was too small. The third dress that I had ordered previous to those two I use the sizing guide and it was way too large. They do not do any returns or exchanges for items that do not fit correctly. Whatever you buy you are stuck with.

I ordered a cute jacket, but when it came it had a big bleach stain on it. I returned and they sent a new one. The new one is so poorly made I am ashamed to wear it! Inside by the zipper someone who cannot see well was cutting the edges. It really looks bad! I asked to be taken off their list, but it has not happened.
I ordered a Pajama Set but They never shipped out my full order. They only sent the shorts and when i called them on it they said that only order shorts (which costs more that set apparently). Customers service sucks! After 3 weeks of trying to get help the best they could say was buy more stuff... I will never use them again!
The website is very easy to navigate, easy to use and I will visit again. I bought two pairs of slipper socks and they are exactly what I was looking for. Very soft, warm and adorable! Definitely recommend the Greater Good
I didn't realize, but I was ordering 3 of the same item instead of just 1. Within less than 5 minutes of my mistaken order, I e-mailed GreaterGood advising of my mistake and requesting a refund for 2 of the same items. I was sent back an e-mail denying my refund because, apparently, in those very few, few minutes, my order was placed and already "processed in [its] system"! Then, I received another e-mail stating that the package comes with a return label, but that it's my responsibility to pay for tracking. No, I'll never shop here again. There are other animal sites to buy from. I think it needs to change its name in order to be truthful.
I purchased a large $80 Dogfather windbreaker to go with a large $22 Dogfather t-shirt. The windbreaker was considerably smaller than a large. I requested an exchange and was told NO. Buried deep in the product description was a statement All Sales Final. You wouldn't know to click on every radial to view this bogus policy for an expensive clothing item. It was a gift! Sizing was off and I should be able to get the proper size. Shame on this company.

I actually love the items I've received from this website, and it's wonderful that proceeds go to the care of animals. BUT, don't expect much help from Customer Service. As soon as I hit the send button to approve my order (or whatever button it is to send the order), I noticed that the ship to and bill to addresses were reversed. I IMMEDIATELY CALLED AND EMAILED over and over again. By the time I actually spoke to someone (within 15 minutes) I was told that it was too late to correct the error. It was only after threatening to call my bank and stop payment on the order that the rep called their warehouse to see if new labels could be made. Again, this was all within 15 minutes of approving the order. Very negative help -- it took forever to explain that the addresses were reversed. When she finally got it in the computer, I was told that they would let me know if the correct labels had been made. Never got a call or email. After all this, the order came to me instead of the ship to address. Now I have to reship. I don't think the reverse addresses was my fault - i checked the correct boxes, so BE VERY CAREFUL TO REVIEW YOUR ORDER BEFORE SENDING IT!
UPDATE They did get back to me after this review.
I noticed recurring charges from Greater Good on my credit card. I have contacted the company several times via their email requesting explanation of what the money's going for and requesting donation receipts. I have yet to receive a meaningful reply. Just auto responses without information.
