Green Dot Bank sent me several emails indicating that they have NO FEES. Their ads also indicated the same thing. I decided to try this bank. Big Mistake! I was charged monthly fees AND ridiculous " Foreign Fees " even though I DO NOT have any foreign contacts! This bank is the SECOND worst bank that I've dealt with. ( The FIRST is Capital One!) It appears that banks realize that they can basically get away with murder because the agencies that are supposed to regulate them are do nothing phony organizations. Banks use these shady practices to their advantage knowing full well that absolutely nothing will happen to them.
