Heard about Greentoe on Reddit and was skeptical at first, like any other person would be. They're actually legit and provide a fantastic service. They work with stores and haggle for the best price to sell to you. Much cheaper than any big box retailers. Comes with original warranty. Lighting fast shipping and amazing customer service. Honestly, can't recommend this place enough.
Don't waste your time or give them your payment info. Not a legit offer site. I submitted an offer for 15% off, and received a counter offer for full retain price, which I can get from any other online seller and my local store today.

Everything went great! I had the TV in my house 7 days after my initial Greentoe purchase and it arrived in perfect condition. The vendors (who I'm not allowed to name) customer service was great too with prompt tracking information, answered all my questions, and providing me a receipt via e-mail since they forgot to include it in the box.
I have seen some negative reviews, but my experience was great!
I would definitely use Greentoe again!
Anyone that has tried to save money on electronics probably went to a disreputable 'grey market' dealer. For the most part, prices on things like Cameras are fixed by the manufacturer. Prices that are lower are "almost" universally grey market products.
For example, if you see a vendor selling a Nikon camera cheap, and go to the list of US authorized Nikon dealers - you likely won't see that vendor on the list.
I researched their business model and I was skeptical. But it's legitimate. I bought an expensive outside television and it was shipped from an authorized dealers several hundred dollars below retail price. I had my order in less than a week.

I'll look at slick deals when looking for big ticket items and saw greentoe.com listed. Was a bit leary about putting my payment info in to increase my odds of having my offer accepted but figured the cards fraud protection would shield me.
End result is I paid $400 less then an on sale price for a q80 65 inch tv.
I ordered Samsung washer. They processed my PayPal payment. I waited close a month with no updates. It kept showing processing. I got an email from PayPal for refund notification. Strangely, Grentoe site showed shipped. I contacted CS, who informed me that the order was cancelled and to send them screenshot order showing shipped. I did exactly that. Still no response! It feels like scam. This should be illegal! They earn interest in your payments.
Reached out after 10 days of no response just for them to tell me item would be 4-6 weeks. Not what it said on their website or in the FAQ. They also said they sent me an email stating this which I showed them was not the case. Website seemed too good to be true and for me turns out I was right.
Made 2 offers on 2 consecutive days for a TV and warranty coverage. NO listings found under "My Offers" when I logged in (3 days in a row!)
Email for customer service recommended that I log out then in again to refresh. Yeah, right! No sign of my offers! Dumb me gave the credit card info they require on file "to be used only if offer is accepted"! Now its time to cancel credit card and have new card re-issued!
Caveat Emptor!

I had never heard of or used Greentoe before my recent purchase of a new camera. Essentially, you find your product if they offer it, set a reasonable purchase amount lower than what's currently being offered by other retailers. Then you go back and forth with unnamed retailers that want your business and are willing to offer a reasonable discount on that item. Once you find an agreeable price, which could be your initially set amount, the product is yours for said price! I saved at least $250 on a $1300 purchase, or around 20% off compared to market retail value. This is totally worth it and will be my go-to site when shopping.

Learn from my error!... I wish I had paid a few dollars more and purchased my appliance from a reputable and reliable seller. My refrigerator arrived damaged and it's now been 8 weeks and the unit is still sitting on my back deck waiting to be picked up and i have not received my refund so can't go purchase another unit and now the holidays are coming.
Greentoe is a scam site! They have stolen my money and will not refund me at all. I don't know what to do. I may have to call my credit card and ask them to step in because I have sent back my item and still no refund. These guys are bunch of crooks!

I purchased a dishwasher on Black Friday. Bid was accepted by Appliance Connection (had I known they used this vendor I never would have placed the order due to bad shipping and customer service experiences in the past). I received shipping verification and that the order would be received by the following Friday. Appliance Connection then canceled my order without any notification via phone or email. Then stating the unlikely story that their shipper dropped them. Greentoe stated they would make the situation right however never followed up.
Tip for consumers:
Go direct to a reputable reseller

The pricing was great. Shipment took longer, but that was die to the shipment company they used. Where I was disappointed was paying 150.00 for installation and when it arrived the guys could not do the install. If they delivered all the services they sold it would be a 5 star experience.

I had the exact same experience as another reviewer. Placed an order for a TV during thanksgiving period. The offer was accepted but it had been in process for days. I tried to contact customer service and I got no response. In that period of time, the price for that TV dropped lower on Amazon and Costco, and I could have had it delivered and set up. Don't fall for something too good to be true.
Either retrain or let him go. Pushy and ineffective. Nothing like a used car sales experience. Trying to leverage a $100 difference into getting me to overpay for a TV. * unprofessional and overall terrible representative of greentoe brand. This being my first experience, I'm not comfortable about moving forward. No thanks, avoid.

Ordered a x900h 85 for $2200. I got the offer accepted. The money was charged. It's stuck on shipping, contacted Greentoe and they responded 3 days later that it will be shipped X date. X date has passed. Another email sent, still waiting response.
Their phones are down or so they chose for them to be unavailable by phone. So basically they took the money and have little contact now.

Bought a LG Refrigerator via GreenToe for $1900 including taxes.
Issues:
1. Had selected in-house drop but the people who came to deliver said only curbside was covered, reached out to GreenToe and they happily blamed it on the seller, initiated communication and no response till date.
2. In a weeks time, the price fell down by $180 (thanks to Labor Day), reached out again asking for a price match. Again GreenToe played "We just felicitate" card and passed the buck to the seller, even seller was selling it for $180 less but no response.
I dont like companies who do not stand by their services, i will probably pay more but not buy from GreenToe again!
I bought a dishwasher and microwave for our kitchen remodel. We saved about $150 on the dishwasher ($850 instead of the $1000 that most places sold it for), and about $35 on a microwave that we got for $465 instead of $500. If you're buying big-ticket items, it can add up. The only minor concern is in regards to timing. We had a cushion because we were buying in advance of our remodel, but if you're in a pinch, you might find communication a bit lacking. That said, I don't think it's Greentoe's issue... I think that is more on the retailer that ultimately sold us our products.
I put in an offer for a 65 inch LG tv. It was accepted. Greentoe sent me a reply in my App. It said I could click on more information to see who the vendor was. However, there was no vendor information available. I emailed greentoe. They advised the vendor was very busy and it might take 48 hrs. The next day greentoe sent an email that the vendor could not verify my identity and was having problems processing my credit card. They said they did not know what the vendors difficulty was but if I sent greentoe my work email that might help in processing the credit card. Now greentoe is guessing what will fix the problem that they previously said they don't know what it could be. I replied to greentoe that I do not have a work email and that they should just call me at the phone number I gave them so we could talk and resolve the issue. I am still waiting for a call or even a follow up email. Seems to be a waste of time with this company.
They advertised a bbq grill a a good price. I went through the entire process including giving my financial information and me being obligated to go through with the deal if my "offer" was accepted (in this case they advertised the price and I was actually accepting the price they listed. They accepted my "offer" then days later notified me that they don't actually have the item, that if I let them hold onto my $1128. 00 they anticipate being able to ship it out in several months! What a scam! Avoid.
I purchased a new refrigerator the was supposed to be in stock. I then received an e-mail stating that the supplier does NOT have it in stock and it will be 4-6 weeks before it would ship. Greentoe then offers me another one for $1,000 higher. They send you an e-mail with a link to click on to review the optional higher priced model. When I clicked on the link to see the details, it automatically charged my credit card without my authorization. They will NOT call you and you CANNOT call them. GRENTOE is very uneithical and shady company! Buyer beware!

I have a Fuji XT2 and wanted to get another lens, 56mm f/1.2. Online prices are 899.99, i. E. $900. Greentoe says save 10% to 40% in their advertising. The best counter offer to my $851 was $879, an about 2.5% savings, plus the hassle of multiple rounds of bidding.
Bottom line, If you know what you want, and it something that does get discounted, you might get a deal (seems like TV sets fall into this category) but Fuji lens are not in this category.
The site lets you tell them what is the max you will pay and let suppliers bid on your offer. In reality the suppliers approve your bid, and then take the money from paypal with no real intention of sending you the item. After a bunch of emai9ls and complaints they give you back the money, but in reality you just gave them a 4-6 weeks loan of over $1000 with no real return and a lot of time wasted!

its a scam

I believe Greentoe has a good model that has the potential to deliver significant savings to the user. However, I do not believe the system is well designed to manage problems or glitches. I ordered a TV for $3000. Upon arrival of the TV, I unpacked it per the reseller's instructions and found the screen to be broken. I rejected the TV back to the shipper and that is where the challenges began. The delivery company did not know how to manage the return. Greentoe has no control over the process once they hand the deal over to the reseller... and thus cannot provide any assistance. Greentoe also does not have live customer service. You can only reach them through email. It took nearly 4 weeks, and multiple calls and emails to get a refund from the reseller. If you are patient and willing to take a chance on a trouble free delivery, Greentoe may be for you. If you are not willing to take a chance on delivery or having your money tied up for a long period of time... you may want to stick with a big box store and pay a bit more.
On 12/30 I "got the deal" on a new camera body and the price was good (2 stars); no tracking, no updates, in the dark until my Amex was charged ten days ago. I'm still waiting.

Hi Joe,
I'm sorry for the confusion. If you look at the counter-offer. The price we sent you was after tax and free shipping. Those google prices you show in the screenshot are not the final prices. You see for most everyone it says "delivery costs calculated at checkout" and those are before tax. Your not comparing apples-to-apples.
