Recently grindr banned my account with no specified reason of it. I did not violate community guidelines. But i can not log in or make a new account at all. I contacted grindr support and they said that the ban will not be lift. Dose anyone know a solution?
Grindr is dangerous. Met the wrong group of gays, who were using meth. So I fell prey. 6 years of he'll on earth. Went from snorting it to injecting it like that. You start to have sex for drugs. It is horrifying if you are under age and you are on, Grindr deleted immediately I've almost been killed. I've been catfish so many times. Or it's a trap and you get killed that way.
Used to be great then obviously got corporate and now ad after ad and a complete scam... welll done guys the gays used to love it n now $#*!ing hate it... $#*!ed folk that are running this mockery of real gay men...

You are totally on your own with this website. You make a mistake, it stays with you. Profile guidelines are never enforced. Encourages and enables completely anonymous harassment by cloaked users. Once and never again. Don't even think about joining this appalling website!

I have been to have my photo, profile, account removed (deleted) for over a week and it is still there. The support team is useless. Grindr doesn't respect the wishes of the user. It shouldn't be this hard to delete an account. You have no control over your account. The question is why are they keeping it open. Stay away protect your information. Don't use grindr.

This is a really bad site, they allow prostitution and members to ask for money all the time, Prostitution is illegal and have reported them to the authorities, Grindr is liable as they use their site to do so, also majority of members are only fakes and photo collector what a scam. Shut down this garbage. They shut down Craigslist for less

Truly pathetic i got banned for reporting scams hookers drug dealers money seekers spammers seems the Chinese masters who own it just say in breach of the terms and conditions ban. Seems admin needs to grow up they say they make Grindr safe no way is that true. Grindr actively promotes all the above bans loyal members daily you would get spammed 20 times from other seekers for websites, scammers fake profiles
Tip for consumers:
avoid at all cost

Good app except many on there are looking for as young as they can get! Just wait until daddy gets ahold of that son's phone. Legal but you may get your $#*! whipped. Also, I've seen dudes profile pics in their underwear with their wad showing. My pic, with just my underwear band showing was banned. The young turds at Grindr will ban your pic if you're 30+. Pretty much, if it doesn't turn them on, you get rejected. Dumbasses.

Grindr is the most ridiculous app out there.
It bans you for no legit reason other then someone not handling rejection very well. You reject someones advances & they report you for a bannable offence, that you're innocent of?
When will grindr wake the F up?

Grindr recently banned my account one month after purchasing a one-year subscription saying my profile had been reported for engaging in "spammy" activity which it defined as "attempts to solicit another user's personal information or prompting users to visit outside links," neither of which I have done. When I asked them to provide a specific instance of my doing what they alleged, they wouldn't respond, nor would they refund the cost of the 11 months remaining on my subscription.

This is a weak app, looks shiny, professional and plasticy but it's amateurish. I don't think this company has the money or the resources to come up with the amount of power necessary to provide good consistent accurate service to all the members that it promises to be the gay communication mecca for. Messages get drop or delayed for up to 2 or 3 days sometimes. People in your network get pissed because they think youre blowing them off this not a help to the gay community this how to make enemies really fast! And these people want you to pay for awful service? They gotta be kidding.

The owner is a communist chinaman and the way the app is run, with idiotic rules, data collection is indicative of that, plus people get banned for no reason, which is a classic chinese method for social networking apps. Boycott china, boycott this app.
Tip for consumers:
use a burner phone cos it wants your IMEI (phone serial number) to sign up.

This app totally sucks. Been getting "photo" bombed by fake accounts that tell you to go to a paid site. Then you can't delete the fake accounts because you've reached your limit for the day, but of course if you want to pay more money then you can delete more accounts. Total waste of time.

They banned me for literally no reason and claimed I posted "inappropriate content" even though I barely got to use it for less than five minutes and all I did was post a pic of my face while wearing a polo shirt. I have refused to have any pics of me taken since then and that was five years ago. This $#*!ing app made me see that my face is apparently so ugly and offensive to to look at that it needed to be banned. When I contacted the company about this, it took them six hours to reply to me and another two for them to admit that they were wrong and they tried to get me to agree to having it months of premium for free. I told them to $#*! off and that what they did was totally wrong and that I'd never use them again or even recommend them and that I'd tell literally everyone I meet to never use their app.

Grindr is a total scam. Full of drug users, bots, trolls, prostitutes, and other garbage. They literally make any conversation a potential violation of terms. The app that normalized "nude pics" has a ban on nudity, IT IS A TOTAL JOKE! Their code of conduct is insanely vague, impossibly broad and they try and declare an authoritarian reign over refunds! This app is a total POS! They take your money and then ban access under undisclosed violations of terms. Their annual fee will automatically renew, even if you are "banned". SERIOUS GARBAGE!

I would leave my phone out at work. I don't look at my bank stamens but I did this time. I found the app hidden on my phone and they said I was banned. I really don't care but it is the point like I herd it a web site where guys hook up on. What a great company.

All the above is accurate. But the worst is that they shared private data such as email, Location, HIV Status, Searches, Activities and so on.
The app is so crappy I cant open it since 10days so far, customer service still doesnt answer. They dont promote our wellbeing

This app discriminates against it's Transgender users and is of poor taste. They prohibit transwomen from wearing bathing suits even at the beach or anything close to showing skin but every other profile is of gay men in nothing but underwear or thongs. It's full of scammers and Gay men message guys that clearly have ONLY TS in their profiles dogging out an degrading transwomen in hopes for a 2 minute hook up. It's pretty clear that they have no Transgender moderators.

Grindr, banned my account and would not refund my remaining 11 months subscriptions. The reason was because they said my photo was posted against their guidelines. However, all photos that are posted on any Grindr account is approved by Grindr staff before being posted. One would think the photos meets the guidelines if the staff approved it? Grindr did not ask me to remove the photo that the staff approved. Grindr did not provided a warning or remove the photo. Grindr just banned my account and took the money for services not provided. In fact, I only got one month of service for 12 months paid. When asked about the remaining 11 months they said sorry. This is not an honest way to operate a business and I encourage everyone to stay away from Grindr. In fact, run away from this Business... run, run, run. Clearly dishonest.

Lack of any verification or photo or phone verification.
As a result, I've seen numerous illegal content, fake profiles of people pretending to be other people and anyone joining at any age.
Grindr aren't taking ownership of this seriously huge safety concern that is a wide spread issue and not just a odd individual case, as the reviews clearly show.
Their report "system" is none exsiting.
Needs to be passed on to authorities, as this is a safety concern in regards to verification and protecting others.

There was a Chinese IT nerd in Sweden Gavin who wanted to have picture Galary of me, when I didn't send him more I got immideately blocked by the supervisor ( maybe himself). I'm blocked for life time. Luckily I didn't pay. I warn u to use this crap

They said i had engaged in bulling & harassment which i knew was a Lie there was nothing in my history to support this when i asked for proof they refused to show me they failed to provide proof & evidence then they just stopped talking and they closed my request without providing me proof i went to police they said they never got a complaint from Grindr or this guy i supposedly abused

Nothing on this app but underage kids, drug dealers, and drug users. They should be shut down and Apple and Google should be shut down for allowing this company to get away with it.

Rude and super stupid customer support from GRINDR! Never use this stupid add! Grindr is a joke. Grindr is a dictator who can ban you without any reason. Grindr ban you first and forfeit your unused purchase without any reason. They will only tell you whatever they want to do on you... So. Do not use Grindr... An app that sucks! At least do not pay to use Grindr.

Grindr is the worst gay hookup sight on the internet, not that the others are much better. The problem with anything anywhere these days, not just on the internet, is it's all about somebody making money.
1. the fake spam conman profiles or con-whatever (because you never know who's on the other end of a con) are out of control and Grindr Admin does NOTHING about it.
2. ad's in general are TOTALLY OUT OF CONTROL! They freeze up your window and make you have to close the app and reopen it. I.e. I wouldn't buy an effin online Monopoly app if it where the last thing on earth and I was bored out of my mind! Freezes your window regardless if you are a paying subscriber or a free user so the other guy on the other end never knows if you are ghosting him or what? Great way to hook up! Way to go Grindr NOT!
3. most of the controls in the setting don't work consistently let alone work at all. I.e. I block the same guy 10 times a day and he reappears.
4. Profiles stay up long after you exit the app so other guys still think you are online.
