AVOID BURGER KING AT GUNWHARF QUAYS - it is rank and should come with health hazard warnings.
I went to Burger King at Gunwharf Quays, Portsmouth and ordered a takeaway bacon double cheese burger.
Firstly the male staff member who served me kept addressing me as "love" in a slimy tone like some sexist throwback from the 1970s. Do men still actually behave like this in this century - just ugh!
When I opened the burger it was utterly rancid and unfit for human consumption:
Firstly it was cold.
The bread roll was stale, rock hard around the edges and inedible.
The cheese slice was rock hard around the edges and inedible and resembled hardened plastic.
There was a tint sliver of bacon in the burger which was cold and had lumps of congealed fat on it.
The whole thing smelled most odd.
It was obvious this burger had NOT been freshly made and had been lying around for some considerable time. I questioned whether it had been made several days previously.
It was rank.
I really didn't want any further encounter with the sexist male so I threw it in the nearest bin.
AVOID THIS PLACE - it should come with a health hazard warning.
