I have used Guru Aid for several months now. They do an excellent job assisting me and fixing my computer when it is slow or has any type of problems. I would be happy to recommend them to anyone that needs help with their computers. They are also very courteous and patient.
I thought I was calling ESET. After letting them have remote access and paying $110, I am finding the next day that a lot of the clean up they said they had done, they did not. They were able to fix my problem with my security, however, I was told it would take 40 minutes and it took over 8 hrs. I actually had to call them back because the tech left me hanging on remote for a long time without doing anything. Once he started working on it again he was finished very quickly. Don't know if I got him in trouble and he skipped over things or what. I even missed a planned event with my Grandchildren because he had told me I needed to stay by the computer. Would not use them again. I could have done most of what he did.
The folks I communicated with were direct and very helpful. While I hope I don't need their services again, I know that, if I do, my problems will be addressed and solved
The review of the problem was resolved OK with very little delay. The computer seems to run very well and without the delay I was experiencing. Sajid Shaikh did a great job.

The service given on GuruAid was TERRIFIC. It took quite a bit of time, but Shaliese (Sam) was excellent in going through the testing and, Pillai (vipillai) to me was amazing and I am sure everything will 100% more than it was and I will let you know if it is otherwise. Milind Telang (*******): I had Mozilla Firefox as my default browser. For a couple of days, I have not been able to print any of attachments to any of the e-mails that I received. Then I switched to Internet Explorer. That "no print" problem did not exist. I also found out that some of the e-mails that were sent to me, when I had Mozilla Firefox as my browser, did not reach me. That got me worried. Whenever I had a computer problem, I always called GURU AID. Milind Telang fixed my "Mozilla Firefox no print" problem, got rid or the viruses, and tuned-up my computer. THANK YOU to GURU AID, and especially to Milind Telang for their professional and efficient service.

More people should subscribe to GURU AID. Their technicians are very professional, knowledgeable, courteous, efficient, and very patient when dealing with customers like me (who are not very computer literate).
What a sinking feeling to have someone, a very belligerent someone, on your computer... where do you go? To GURUAID, of course.

I contacted who I thought was MacAfee to sort a refund on my autorenewal and got these guys. All they were bothered about was accessing my computer. When I queried why they need to do this, they said it was so they could sort the refund out. I explained I am a financial adviser with many client details on my system so under data protection rules, I couldn't do this, I again asked why they needed to access my laptop to sort a refund, surely all that was required was my ref. Number and they can put the money back into my paypal account, at this they disconnected the call. I called MacAfee direct who told me they have NO AFFILIATON with MacAfee at all...
Absolutley, do not trust these guys at all!
