I have used Guru Aid for several months now. They do an excellent job assisting me and fixing my computer when it is slow or has any type of problems. I would be happy to recommend them to anyone that needs help with their computers. They are also very courteous and patient.
I thought I was calling ESET. After letting them have remote access and paying $110, I am finding the next day that a lot of the clean up they said they had done, they did not. They were able to fix my problem with my security, however, I was told it would take 40 minutes and it took over 8 hrs. I actually had to call them back because the tech left me hanging on remote for a long time without doing anything. Once he started working on it again he was finished very quickly. Don't know if I got him in trouble and he skipped over things or what. I even missed a planned event with my Grandchildren because he had told me I needed to stay by the computer. Would not use them again. I could have done most of what he did.
Everytime I use this service, I'm delighted. Not just by the tech support (hand holding second to none) but also by the great customer interface these guys give. Sign up, you won't ever worry again!
I have had a few problems with my PC re antivirus and Youtube videos not working but everything was resolved efficiently by Guruaid. A very good service.

This company advertises on Google (and probably other search engines) listing itself as McAfee Customer Services. Once through to them they say they will help fix the problem and that you need to give them access to your screen. They talk you through a web login very quickly but do not ever explain what they are doing. They then run a "check" programme which you see on your screen from a Command Prompt. The end line of this shows "Corrupt Registry. Fake Windows 10" (My windows 10 is brand new and directly installed from Microsoft). They then offer to "fix" the registry for you for £20. At this point I started asking questions and the operator became rude and evasive and then just hung up on me - realising he had been rumbled. Unfortunately I have no idea what damage he may have done to my operating system so I have gone back to an earlier restore point. DO NOT CALL OR CONTACT THIS COMPANY. IT IS A COMPLETE SCAM.
I contacted them originally because I had been hacked. They have been great at restoring my computer and keeping all of the computers on our network cleaned up. Thanks so much!

I have being getting support from GURUAID for the past Seven years, and I have found them to be very professional in their work. I first had one Laptop which was 8 years old, and had many problems with it, and thanks to GURUAID every thing was fixed, and I am still using same.
