I called and said I wanted Avast fixed. The technician told me that the reason that Avast would not install was that I needed a computer clean up that cost $100. I realized then that this was a scam and hung up. During the session with the technician I found an email from registration email from Avast. After the session I just went to the registration email from Avast and clicked on the connect link and Avast works perfectly. GuruAid is just a scam to get you to pay $100 for a computer clean up. The technician didn't have any idea how to get Avast running. He was just a salesperson for this computer clean up that had nothing to do with the problem I was having.

Your customer service was courteous and the technician was courteous and very helpful. He was patient even when I didn't know what he was talking about because I don't know much about the working of my computer.

Today two Trojan horse virus attached my computer and my regular protection service removed them, however, not fully. Upon contacting GURUAID, they promptly and efficiently cleaned up my computer; and, it is now working like new. So far, I am really happy I subscribed for this service.

The customer service representatives that I have encountered so far are knowledgeable on all computer applications, and other devices as well. On top of that, the representative are polite and curteous. I will recommend the company to other people.

Tushar was excellent. I was very concerned about the end results and he kept reassuring me that all would be fine. He worked and kept me updated. I felt reassured that he would get the matter/issue with my computer resolved and he kept at it until he did remove all threats and cleaned up my computer. Now it is running like new. You need techs like Tushar. Thanks for have such a good tech in your employment.

GuruAid's technician Sachin Gawali was easy to work with, and well-mannered. So was I.
Also his work on my computer was effective. The machine is working quickly without the frustrations, like constant freez-ups, and inability to update Adobe flash player.

I contacted a company found online and for £39.95 they totally screwed my computer, can't remember the name of the company, Guruaid in about 45 mins sorted out the mess and got me back up and running, only thing they did not restore my windows programmes which were deleted by the first company. I contacted windows direct and they re=installed all my programmes, Word, Excel and Powerpoint. I TRUST THEM.

I phoned these people like i have always done, but the 1st one just hung up on me, so i rang again and spoke to another person and asked him to speak to his supervisor and i explained my reason for wanting to speak to him and he hung up as well, if this happens again i will report them to trading standards and consummers rights law, thank you john heaney.

Called them for what I thought was the Webroot support number. The "support tech" said he needed to sign on my computer, which Webroot always does. The difference being that Webroot has outstanding support and GuruAid couldn't write a dir command without a syntax error. He said he worked to Webroot, which was a lie. After screwing around on my computer for almost an hour it became obvious to me he had no idea how to restore Webroot on my new computer and, but for $80 he could a "technician" clean up all the errors on my 2 day old machine.
My guess is that if you think they did a good job you really didn't need them.

STAY AWAY! IT IS A SCAM!

The service this evening by Kunal was exceptional. He figured everything out, explained in detail what he was doing, very curtious, very knowledgeable, and made me feel important as a customer. I would recommend this service to others.

I am a small business owner who uses computers all day long. I can not be without them for any length of time. I contacted the technicians at Guraaid and it was not very long before I was back up and running. It was timely and professional.

I spent $240 Australian dollars( $170US$) for a years subscription for Guru Aid technical support. My computer had a virus so I tried to contact them (Guru Aid) and they seem to have disappeared Guru Aids phone number 1800-156-016 keeps giving me the engaged signal. I am afraid to say that I have been scammed. Big time... Edward

Having received a hoax call regarding my PC I contacted Guruaid., It was a most pleasant experience, especially dealing with your tech, Sagar Gharge. He immediately assured me that the issues would be resolved efficently, which they were. He was very pleasant to deal with, professional and efficient. It was a very nice transaction!
