My little miss always looks so cute in this clothing line. It's not that expensive. We've purchased items in size newborn to 3T thus far. I'm not usually into some of the themed clothing Gymboree offers, but every once in a while I find something oh so cute.
The package has never arrived. I contacted their customer service, was told to contact my financial institution. Cute clothes but still not worth the headache dealing with my bank during dispute process.
I went into a Gymboree store in Canada one time to buy something for my newborn baby. They asked me if I wanted to sign up for emails and promotions for their store. I said sure, I have a baby now, sounds like a good idea! Emails come CONSTANTLY. I UNSUBSCRIBE so many times without effect. I FINALLY decide to buy some things online since they are 50% off for spring. Little did I know, this website ad the email deals were ALL American (useless to me), said I got free shipping if I spent a certain amount (so I did), upon checkout said I owed shipping price (so I grunted and paid it) THEN when it arrives am asked to pay ANOTHER $25 for shipping! He sale isn't even worth it anymore! I'm not even picking up the crap. I'm so mad.
I have been a gymboree fan for 10 years... but this is not the first time they messed up. Paid $20 to arrive by today according to their promise, but it missed the plane and is now arriving on Mon.
1st, could not submit order and kept getting some obscure error message about characters that were allowed. ALL of the characters I had in the message box WERE in the allowed characters box. I retyped FIVE $#*!ING TIMES and it didn't accept it. Finally I all but eliminated the message except to say Happy Birthday before it let me submit order. Took me TWENTY minutes. Then the party I sent to did not receive the E-CARD (Get it? E-CARD, sent via email) a full day after I ordered. I called customer service which involved talking to someone who could not speak English. I was told there's a two-day verification process. For an E-Card? Are you kidding me? This is not posted on the order form tough I was told by the stupid customer service person that it's in their terms of service. Oh, and we all read those 15-page documents before hitting send, right? DON'T SHOP THIS CRAP SITE, AWFUL!
My credit card was charged with additional rush delivery fee but the items were not delivered. Called customer service but they said they can't help! Stay away and save your time and money.
My package was lost by UPS. They refunded the money (my money) to Gymboree. Have already spent an hour and a half on the phone with them trying to get a refund. Finally, I was told I would get the refund. Well, I didn't receive it. Now I'm back on the phone with Gymboree waiting for a supervisor (who I think doesn't exist) - on hold for 20 minutes and counting! STAY AWAY! LEARN FROM MY MISTAKES!
I ordered on Dec. 1st and my order took almost two weeks to ship. I emails many times regarding the order and they never responded. Their customer service line never answers. I sent an email on Dec. 10th to cancel my order. They shipped my order on Dec. 13, and responded to my email on Dec. 14th stating it was too late to cancel because the order has shipped. Tracked the order that was stated to arrive Dec. 14th... it is now Dec. 16th and I still do not have my order!
I made an order and every time I went back to my shopping cart the sizes were wrong so I had to do it over and over again till it finally got it right, and they still messed up my order, wrong quantity and sizes and the one that they got the size wrong they sent me two of, and I have to pay for their mistake, I could send them back but the shipping cost just as much as the shirts, so I ended up paying for items that I didn't even order, plus taxes and duties on things that I didn't even order and the only thing that they could do for me is waive my shipping fee for the next order. The only reason that they are getting even 1 is I can't give them a zero
Placed an order on line and 5 days later they drop the price. Called customer service to do price adjustment as any other store will do BUT they refused!
I do like Gymborees clothes, but buying online is definitely not worth the prices nor the hassle! I wish I would have read reviews first but I figured they are a reputable company in almost every mall, why would it be any different buying online?! Well, lets just say that I was unaware they don't have a "Canadian" online store. So my $66 purchase then became an $87 purchase(what was actually charge on my cc). The tracking number I had received in an email didn't work (by clicking on it from the email), but noticed the shipping company was DHL. After several attempts, I finally found my shipment using the DHL website. And it had a message at the top saying "kindly read if your package hasn't been delivered". Looked closely below and it had been picked up my Canada Post in Mississauga and also mentioned COD. Finally at day 14, received a pick-up notification from Canada Post and $26.74 owed. Basically, my order ended up costing me $114 and 2 weeks to get my order. Honesty, not worth it. I buy almost everything online and this has never happened to me before. I won't be buying online from Gymboree again!
I just spent over one hour on the phone with Gymboree customer service trying to get money back from them. I had returned two items in the store that I had ordered online and they failed to refund my sales tax. I called the store first and was told she couldn't help me I would have to call customer service. Customer service tried their best to explain how they had refunded it but he was so confused by it and could not even understand it, which made it impossible for him to make me understand it. He kept me on hold while he kept going back to contact the "credit" department. When I asked to speak with them directly I was told they don't talk to customers. BUYERS BEWARE! Gymboree does not refund sales tax or else they double taxed me and for $3.58 they preferred to tell me they don't care if I am a customer anymore. I will be returning all #325.00 worth of merchandise I just purchased in the last 2 weeks and will never set foot in a Gymboree store again. There are plenty of places to shop for my 4 granddaughters!
I have been a customer of Gymboree for 15 years and have been extremely pleased with the level of service and the style and quality of clothing for in store purchases. With the addition of twin boys this Spring we decided to make purchase online as we thought it would be easier than taking all our family shopping and would be easier to pick up two of everything!
Our online shopping experience has been less that satisfying! We cannot reach anyone either by phone or online after making attempts for over a week regarding a purchase that has not been delivered to us. Unfortunately the purchase was for Christmas clothing and this is time sensitive. We had a photo shoot scheduled and of course the clothing did not arrive.
I stayed on the line for over 40 minutes one day trying to reach someone... not easy when you have twin boys only 6 months old. Clothing stores that cater to young families should keep in mind the demands and needs of their clients... this company has not. Not being able to reach anyone to speak to has been incredibly frustrating. When a mistake happens you should be able to reach customer service to resolve the matter. It works that way with pottery barn, RH baby and kids... pretty much any company I have ordered from... NOT this company.
I would not recommend their online store to anyone. After this experience I don't think I even want to walk into their stores!
ON BLACK FRIDAY I MADE MY FIRST EVER ONLINE ORDER FROM Gymboree. SPENT AN HOUR CHOOSING MY ITEMS AND THEN WENT TO CHECKOUT SCREEN. EXTREMELY FRUSTRATED WHEN MY CANADIAN POSTAL CODE WAS NOT ACCEPTED. I HAD TO CALL CUSTOMER SUPPORT WHERE IT TOOK 45 MINUTES TO ENTER MY ADDRESS (HAD MY HUSBAND FINISH THE CALL SO I COULD GO TO WORK). ALSO, THE REP COULD NOT LINK MY PHYSICAL REWARDS CARD THAT I RECEIVED IN THE STORE TO MY NEW ONLINE ACCOUNT (SO NOW I HAVE POINTS IN MULTIPLE PLACES).
THEN TODAY (NOV 28) I RECEIVE A CALL FROM FEDEX TO PAY $51.35 IN DUTY AND TAX? I HAD NO IDEA THAT THIS ORDER WAS SHIPPING FROM THE US AND THAT I WOULD BE CHARGED SO MUCH, MY ORDER WAS ONLY $86! IT HAS NOT SHOWN UP ON VISA SO I AM CURIOUS AS TO HOW MUCH YOUR COMPANY IS GOING TO CHARGE ME. WILL IT BE $86 CANADIAN OR US? I WILL DEFINITELY NOT BE SHOPPING ONLINE HERE AGAIN UNLESS THIS CAN BE RESOLVED QUICKLY AND FAIRLY. I FEELDECEIVED AND TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF. I SHOP ONLINE OFTEN AND HAVE NEVER HAD THIS HAPPEN
I bought leggings at the outlet store and realized when I got home that the legs were very uneven... by more than 2 inches. I contacted costumer service and was told that they were unwilling to replace the pants via mail, nor could I exchange them at my local retail store, but that I had to drive BACK to the outlet to ask for an exchange. That's over an hour away and not a trip I'm willing to make with three kids to exchange one pair of leggings.
I emailed with three separate representative, Monica, Cecilia, and Mary Ann, and instead of addressing the questions I was asking (ie, can I get a refund? Can I get a store credit or gift card in the amount that I paid? Can I have another pair of leggings in the same size sent to me?), each representative only cut and paste what the previous person had said: that exchanges can only be made in the Gymboree Outlet Store. I understand that, which is why I was providing alternative resolutions. I suppose I was expected to examine the pants while I was at the store to ensure the legs were the same length? Is this something responsible shoppers typically do, with children in tow, no less? I guess I will just ask my daughter to walk lopsided. Thanks for your help, Gymboree.
I think the tones and prints are adorable. I will be cautious with what I purchase. I realize Kids' Place claims Gymboree now and their stuff can be modest material too.
My in laws bought my twins gift card from the Gymboree site they were sent to my home from the Gymboree Corp. When I went to redeem them the one $50 gift card said MY balance was ZERO I called the company they told me well you did not load the card it is zero.
HMMMM well my in laws was charged $100 for two $50 gift cards and they received only one $50 gift card
We have to call CC company and do a charge back and fight these ppl who absently sent out empty gift card but graciously took $50 from us
I would NEVER trust their online e gift cards they are a total thief! And now I have to spend time fighting them for not doing their job!
I have spent tens of thousands of dollars with this company
VERY DISAPPOINTED Closing my Gymboree VISA and never shopping with them again!
Horrible customer service I think they forgot who pays their bills... THE CUSTOMER
Guarantee failure for their future
Quality has gone down how come the prices haven't gone down also? Y'all close all the stores and then return inside of childrens place with the same high prices
I recently received an e-mail from Gymboree explaining that my package was undeliverable because of an incorrect address. This messagewas at least three weeks after the package should have arrived. My response to them is as follows: The reason that this was undeliverable was because your fill in form for ordering is not set up properly. There were not enough lines on the form to indicate a business address. Because the form was lacking in lines for information, I called your company to make sure that the business company would be indicated and repeated the entire address to a customer service individual. It was a long process. Imagine my dismay after trying both on line and by phone to get this birthday present there in time that it never arrived. It is now over two weeks overdue to a birthday child. I am especially irritated due to the fact that I spent at least forty five minutes on line and speaking with one of your representatives. There was nothing incorrect about the address, but as I have already indicated by phone the package should read: etc, etc.
On March 17th I placed an order online during their last weekend for online orders. My banking account showed that there was a pending charge from Gymboree. Couple days later, I noticed that I haven't received a shipping notification. So I looked at my banking account and noticed that the charge was gone. I looked at the Gymboree order online, and it said order processing. So I decided to wait a few days. No changes, nothing. So I tried calling their customer service number. That number gave me a long automated message and then proceeded to tell me to call a different number for customer service. I called that other number and guess what, they said to call the other number that I just tried previously. You cannot email them, you cannot call them and apparently the only way to contact them is through a lawyer. So again I waited a couple more days. My husband advised me to contact my bank to have them cancel the charge if it posted. 2 days ago the charge posted on my bank account. Seeing that I still have not received any kind of shipping notification, I called my bank today to have this charge canceled. Unfortunately, it has already posted and gone through and now I would have to file a merchandise complaint. This could take 60 to 90 days to resolve. So I'm going to be even more patient then I should be, and we'll wait another five days for a shipping notification. If I don't get one, I will not only contact the bank but I will be contacting a lawyer. This is very fraudulent activity and extremely disappointing considering Gymboree is going out of business.
Wanted to check on an order that was place over 2 weeks ago, have been waiting on hold for 49 minutes. Will never shop here again
Based on many reviews and on my own experience we, customers, left to do only one thing: DO NOT buy from Gymboree. Lets spend our money at other stores until they wake up.
Here my experience: On 11/17/2016 I ordered an e-card that should be delivered instantly via e-mail for my grandson's birthday.
When I checked my order online on 11/18 (actual birthday date) and noticed status Submitted, I called customer service hoping that they will be able to push order through. I asked if anything is wrong with my order.
Representative talked like robot saying we are sorry for your inconvenience many times without able to do anything. He just told me to wait for verification that might take another day.
When on 11/19 e-card did not arrived and status was still Submitted, I called again. I got to talk to different robot this time, but with the same result. I tried hard to get any human response and understand what I might did wrong, but I did not hear anything new and was told to waiting for this mysterious verification process.
On 11/21 I got an e-mail: We regret to inform you that our system experienced difficulty completing your recent order #******* and it has been cancelled.
On my next call I got to talk to a supervisor, but all she was able to offer me for my inconvenience (not getting a gift for my first grandson- is more than inconvenience) is to place another order for a traditional gift card with waived ship fee.
Well, I would not have to pay this fee anyway if they would process and order correctly. She did not show any interest in keeping me as customer (I told her that I have 3 grand-kids) and did not give me any explanation why they could not fix the issue after my first or second call.
So, now my grand-kids will have their presents from other stores.
And one more thing: notice that there are no responses from Gymboree to complains on this site. They are really do not care.
GYMBOREE IN DELIVERY HAS THE WORSE! LIKE THE WORSE DELIVERY SYSTEM EVER! AND THERE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS EVEN WORSE, THESE WOMEN BARWLY SPEAK ENGLISH THEY ARE NOT ABLE TO HELP YOU WITH ANYTHING, YOU TELL THEM TO HELP YOU WITH THE ORDER APPARANTLEY THEY CANT! DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM! THE WORSE! SMH!
Great for the kids. My priority is their safety. Was a little cooler than expected. Kids didnt want to leave.
You have to give at least one star to be able to submit this review or you can not submit the review. I would not have given any stars. Two weeks ago I placed an order with Gymboree and used pay pal to pay for it. The amount was debited out of my account so I expected to get an email letting me know my order had been shipped. As of today I have received nothing. A week ago I phoned their customer service (Their customer service reps work outside Canada and the States) they told me I would receive an email and that my order was being shipped. She gave me a confirmation number while I was on the phone with her. Needless to say I did not get the email or shipment. When I phoned back today and spoke to another phone rep I was advised the number given to me by the first phone rep does not exist. This took half an hour on the phone with her as she continually put me on hold while she said she had to check into what was going on. I think she was hoping I would hang up. The phone call ended with her telling me that she would contact Gymboree to email me to let me know what was going on. What is the point of having phone reps If they can not solve your problem, and each one of them is giving you a different answer. Terrible customer service. I still do not know what is going on with my order. Still no email from Gymboree. When I try to log on to find out I am told to change my password. Then I am asked to check my email to change the password When I check my email nothing from Gymboree. Be very careful ordering anything online from this company. They need to get their very poor standard of customer service sorted out. If I worked like their phone reps I would be fired.
I have ordered Online from Gymboree three times and I've had the worst experience with my last order because UPS, their shipper delivered the items to the wrong address. I had to spend time to talk to UPS to find out because Gymboree won't track the package for me and they offered to connect me to UPS instead. I called Gymboree to let them know that UPS confirmed the mishap and they offered to let me go online and select items which they will price match. My understanding was that there will be no refund on my account but I won't have to pay for the new orders. On my third call, I gave them the item numbers that I wanted them to match and they were okay until Phil, their customer service agent asked me how I am going to pay for the items? I was, "Whaaatt? Why am I paying you again? What happened to the money that I already paid before?" And he told me that I have to file a dispute to get that money back. So I lost all my temper and asked that they give me a refund without me filing a dispute, they relented and promised that they will give me a refund. He said that they will initiate an investigation only after I file a dispute. And he confirmed that they haven't started an investigation even though I report on March 7th that UPS confirmed they delivered it to the wrong address. Now I have to wait and see if that refund is ever gonna come in to my account in 3 business days. Otherwise, I am going to call Visa and file a big complaint on them. Now I am not surprised that this company is going down the drain. DO NOT BUY ONLINE, if you don't want to get scammed.
I was a loyal Gymboree customer since my son was born in 2007. I have spent thousands of dollars on clothing for my 2 kids and pretty much was a Gymboree addict. I would shop every season and try and earn and spend Gymbucks like crazy. The quality was superb and the clothing was the cutest around... until about 2 years ago. :( What was once high quality, soft 100% cotton knits has recently been replaced with stiff and cheap cotton blends. I was once so impressed with the details such as velvety soft appliques and embroidery. Now most things are screen printed with some kind of glittery cheap paint. In addition, the sizing is very inconsistent and has been changed drastically. Most things fit more narrow and long these days. So if you have a very thin and tall toddler it might work for you. But for my average sized children, the tops are tighter and sleeves are too long, which is not great since the material is now stiff and pretty much has no give to it. I know for a fact that sizing has changed because I have received hand me downs from friends and family, as well as purchased older lines on Ebay. Those all fit my kids and are true to size. Within the past 2 years, I have purchased from Gymboree in hopes that their quality would go back to what it once was. About 80% of the time I have just ended up disappointed and had to return the items I purchased. In a nutshell, one should expect more trendy, but lower quality items when purchasing from Gymboree these days. Think Walmart, Old Navy, or The Children's Place at Gap prices. If you are looking for more high quality, comfortable cotton items that will last, I would suggest places such as Carter's, Mini Boden, Hanna Anderson, or The Gap.
Gymboree kids clothing celebrates the joy of childhood. Shop our wide selection of high quality baby clothes, toddler clothing and kids apparel.
