I ordered some bee costumes and they did a great job of getting them to me in a timely manner. The only thing I wish they would have done differently is had the number sizes on the site for the costumes instead of just small, medium, large, extra large, and etc.
... is that they charge an 18% restocking fee, that it takes 2 - 4 weeks to process AND that there is a charge of $6.99 to return the item. So, I spent $79.34, $9.36 were shipping and tax. The net amount spent was $69. 98. 18% restocking fee is $12.60, and with the $6.99 return shipping fee, the refund comes to $50.39 (or, if I understood correctly, they will charge my card immediately $6.99 for the return and return $57.38 in FOUR weeks, give or take). What is really upsetting is that I needed this costume for a work party, and I got the measuring tape out to make sure that I ordered the correct size based on their guidelines. Sadly, I could have fit nearly twice into the costume that should have fit according to the information provided on their website. NEVER AGAIN - at least, that is a valuable lesson I learned from this experience.
I ordered an authentic Gene Simmons costume from this company. The package arrived earlier than I expected. The costume came in its own carrying case, with extra pieces incase some of the metal clips came off from wear. The boots came in an amazing flame box. Great experience. I will be purchasing from them again.
I made an order more than 10 days ago and didn't get a confirmation nor a shipping confirmation email although I paid extra for faster delivery. I sent them 3 emails with no reply. I have no idea where my order is!
I got a device that is fairly small, but it packs a huge punch. It attaches to whatever object you want, a bush is nice, with heavy twist ties. When it hears any noise it starts shaking the bush and growling and snarling and it's eyes flash. It's the best!
So I was late to the Halloween shopping and I was having a hard time finding a costume to match a mask and tail I already owned. After searching and searching I found HalloweenCostumes.com and found what I was looking for. After checking out the sizing information for the suit I wanted I decided to order a size smaller than I normally would. I'm glad I did because the sizes listed on the website were spot on. I'm a heavy guy but the suit is quite roomy. I ordered on Sunday and got it by Wednesday after paying $9.99 shipping. I was skeptical after reading a lot of the reviews but for me I got a quality product with plenty of time left before Halloween. Thanks!
I have placed several orders with this website and they always ship and arrive quickly. The only complaint i have is with the exchange policy, the customer is responsible for return shipping both ways and when purchasing a $20 item it costs an additional $10 to exchange it which is very frustrating.
My daughter wore a $60+ Harry Potter costume for a 1hr Book Week Parade and it fell apart at the neck with all the stitching undone. I contacted the company for a return and they said "No". I would never use or recommend this company to anymore every again. Poor products, poor service!

Halloween costumes received the returned items on 9th December (signed for).
Despite a couple of live chats and emails to company I have not received a refund on this item.
I have also read the small print on their returns policy and have discovered that they are going to deduct 18% of cost for "restocking"
I am personally going to be £11 out of pocket for postage and charity is going to be almost £36 out of pocket for returning a very poor quality costume.
Incidentally I am still awaiting refund from Halloween Costumes
I would recommend that buyers steer clear of this company.
The costume I purchase is missing items. Upon checking their return policy I would need to pay shipping plus an 18% restocking fee which is fine if it was change of mind but it was missing items. Why should the customer have to pay for anything if it's faulty.
I would not have even scored a star if I could have. They advertise to say that returns are simple if you are not happy however what they don't tell you until you want to do this is that they will deduct 18% from the amount you paid and that's not even including the extortionate amount that you pay for shipping as it's the only option available! So I have paid the £8.99 p&p thinking it's ok, if it doesn't fit at least I will get the £28.99 back for the costume. No. You will get 82% of that costume amount back. To top it off they do not even give you the address to send your return to and then say that they will deduct a further £10 from the refund if the courier needs to amend the address. Basically leaving you with nothing as long as they get their stock back. Absolute shambles. Even though I can not wear the costume as it is too big, I will not send it back at my further expense to probably end up with £5 back after spending £40!
I never received my costume and when I tried to contact customer service they never responded to my emails finally when I contact them by phone the team lead was very unprofessional and rude and basically called me a liar Insinuating that i call lots of places and tell them that I don't receive my packages. They refused to give me a refund or re-ship the item. This is the most unprofessional place I've ever ordered from and will never order again

I bought a costume in the middle of October 2019 and returned it within 30 days of receiving it as instructed to obtain my full payment refund. It's been over a month and I have not received my refund and they charged an exorbitant amount to provide a shipping label. I will never purchase from this company again and I'm also filing a complaint with the BBB. I called the company letting them know I have not received my payment two weeks after I shipped the return they said, "we are getting to it, check back in a week". They confirmed they received my package. They also never stated they were charging me for the shipping label. These are true scam artists and I will ensure none of my friends and family purchase from this company.
I've ordered two costumes over the past year, two separate occasions, and have been impressed both times by the shipping speed, quality for the price, selection, and durability of the costumes. Will continue to be my go-to.
I haven't shopped in an actual store for costumes in years! I always go to halloweencostumes.com. They have size charts that help you not get the wrong size and great products! They make their costume's differently and I love them.
Love my witch costume, took it to another level, very simple, with my white wig, sweatpants, rock it. This is a size large, fit me perfectly. I even workout in this costume at work, wasn't easy, I had so much fun. This is my second costume, will buy again next year.
Were shipped but got lost in the mail, I had to contact THEM they did not contact ME... then lied and said they were shipping out replacements... I looked online and the shoes in my size were sold out! How could they be reshipping them? Then I called again, do you think they will contact you when they f-up? No, but they will gaslight you into thinking it's your fault! They wanted to still send me the cape, a month after I ordered it, and I am supposed to be stupid a third time? Hell naw! Told them off but I AM RUDE... lol incompetent thieves and liars OH MY!
I found that of the many costume sites out there, halloweencostumes.com had the best selection at the best price. I'm a teacher and needed something for a school function, and was able to find a costume that was appropriate to wear, and accessories that were inexpensively priced. My package arrived even earlier than I expected, and the order was correct.

Answer: From my experience, I would definitely say this website is reliable. We ordered our costumes and received them (of great quality) within two business days. I personally used PayPal to buy them, but I do this with every website (that allows) just for extra protection.
Answer: Hi Monique, I've had this same problem having them ship to Australia, turns out that the 'FedEx' tracking number they've given us is in the confirmation email is actually a UPS tracking number. Hope that helps!
